"Fine, but if it winds up as some deformed and useless half bug half slime because of the poking I will have to make you go out there yourself and hunt bugs to recoup our losses."

"NO, NO, don't make me! They are almost as big as me, just one bite from some of them and I would be a goner. If that happened what would you do without me? You would be at a complete loss without me. So, I don't want to, even if it comes out half Jiggly Jiggly half bug please don't make me go out there." said Mimi while flitting around the room with panic in her eyes.

"Hmm, we will have to wait until the evolution stops to see if I will have to punish you or not. hehe. But damn this evolution is taking so long it feels like over a month has gone by since it has started. Wait, the light is dimming! We can finally see what this so called Speket looks like."

Appearing out of the light was now a large bug about 15 cm long, its body was about 5 cm round, it had a thick carapace like most bugs with a brownish green colour. Its head had 3 large eyes 2 in the normal places and 1 on the very top of its head was on a short stalk like a slug. The 2 normal eyes looked like normal compound bug eyes, but the one on top of its head looked like a mantis shrimp's eye and would slowly move around looking in all directions. It had 3 large mandibles and 3 tentacles in a triangle pattern for a mouth. And other than that it looked just like a LARGE grasshopper from earth.

"Holy crap, that thing is ugly, that eye and mouth especially. At least it's one of my monsters so I can control them and keep them away from me."

"CUTE! CUTE! So CUTE!!! Quick bring it over here I want to cuddle with it! Never mind your taking too long I will take control of it and bring it over here myself. It's just too cute. If only it was a little bigger I could ride it like my fateful mount. Ahhhh, it feels so good to the touch, and I love how it's moving eye keeps looking at me with love."

They like to attack in huge swarms in the wild.

"Hey, Mimi what is with this Hidden, and why can I only see its AGL and Evasion, ALSO how is it level 2 with 4 extra EXP already?"

"So cute, so cute. Hmm, what, did you say something? Oh, umm ya. That's because until you unlock the right perk in the skill tree you won't be able to see much more than the main stats of your monster and its description. It's Level 2 because the slime it evolved from was level 2 from killing that bug earlier. Those things give not just a lot of LF but a lot of EXP too." As Mimi was talking she was rubbing her cheeks all over the Speket mumbling to herself how smooth the exoskeleton was and occasionally spacing out.

"So smooth, smooth, Wait where was I? Oh ya, It's level 2 because of that bug it ate when it was still a slime, which means that if you level up a monster before you let it evolve it will keep all the levels it gained before evolution. That can come in handy because the higher the rank of monster it becomes a little harder to get EXP, but on the downside the more a single monster evolves the harder it is to get it to evolve again. Say you wanted a level 100 dragon and you started out with a 100 slime, the dragon you would get would be ALOT stronger then one you summoned, and maybe even a wild one, and leveled because of the evolution bonuses but it would be ALOT harder to get the slime to evolve so many times."

"Come again, Did you just say evolution bonuses? Why do you only talk about these things AFTER the fact? And if I see you lick that thing one more time I'm going to de-summon it for the LF!"

"What? What? But it's so cute and smooth I can't help it. Fine I just won't let you see me do it anymore. Also about the evolution bonuses how can you not know about them, EVERYONE who knows anything about anything knows about that. Fine, evolution bonuses are things monsters get when they evolve, they can be extra stats, abilities they keep from old evolutions, new abilities or other things I can't think of yet."

As Mimi was saying all this she had started to try and mount the Speket like a horse but kept falling off when her weight overloaded the poor creature and it collapsed.

"Ok, your one strange Fairy but I think I understand the basics of all that now. I'm sure there is more to it but I will leave it until I need to know more since I'm still too week for all that. Also now that you FINALLY mentioned that I can check the stats of my monsters I should really check out Jiggly Jiggly."

"Wow, Nice already level 4, and those stats, 80 hp! I only have 2! 20 Endurance seems like a lot, but it is a named monster and I don't really have anything to compare it to yet so I have no idea if that's good or not. But the Capacity stat? I have even less of an Idea about that. Mimi if you can stop torturing that poor thing for a sec can you tell me what the Capacity stat is?"

"No clue, No clue. You probably have to unlock that knowledge or something. now leave me alone for a moment to enjoy this cutie. Mmmm so smooth almost as good as Jiggly Jiggly's jiggle.
