《Sam's Adventure》The Author Wants to Write

And so the author was bored again and decided to write more regardless of the time it would take waiting for the Audiences response.
Ding! Sub-Class Selected
Mechanic: A well known ocupation for its use in battle and technology, but very expensive to maintain, if one is not careful.
Wait a minute so fast? I thought I could choose it myself!
It seems the Author wants you to get a move on and chose that for ya.
Well thats troubling but the Audience would have chosen it instead i suppose, I can deal with this, I like tinkering anyway.
Thats the spirit! Now its time to go to the Organization and get registered.
Why?
Well they hand out resources each month and you'll need it if you want to build anything you know.
Ah well I suppose thats true. Alright where do I go?
Just ask your watch.
Oh Yeah.
And off they went. after marveling at the tech a lot of the way our heroes reached the Angular Association, the most well known Mechanic organization.
So this is it?
Yep...
They marveled at the huge building. Sam walked forward and opened a door. Whoosh! Cold air brushed Sam from the lobby, a vast area with a bunch of lines. quickly walking to the shortest it was soon Sam's turn.
Uh Hello?
Name.
Pardon?
What's ya name kid?
Oh uh Sam.
Age.
16
Class?
Mechanic.
The receptionist raised an eyebrow
Your a Mechanic?
I am... is anything wrong?
Hmm.
The receptionist scribbled some notes without answering.
You here for training or do you know how to build?
Both
Both?
I would like some training but I can build something if I need to.
I see. Well the training room is to the left, if you want to register as a Mechanic you have to take a test for now I can only give you a simple students pass.

O-oh okay thanks.
Sam walked back to the lobby area and sat down thinking about everything. So much had happened in such little time but it was fun and exciting to Sam so they decided to continue on and familiarize themselves with the tools in the training room.
Walking through the left door and marveling it seemed to be a bunch of room each with a glass door so instructors could watch but seeing one person press a button the door turned opaque.
Whoa...
After asking around a bit Sam found an empty room and went inside. Sam pulled out some parts and began tinkering with the tools, occationally looking up manuals on their watch.
Pretty soon they got the hang of the tools and build a small bird out of the scrap. Winding it up, it flew around their room in circles.
After the bird flew a couple of circles he wound it down with the Electrodriver, and put it in their bag, and walked out of the training rooms.
Walking over back to the receptionist from earlier Sam was eager to take the test.
Yes kid? It's been around 3 hours, you can still use that pass for a day you know.
Oh yes thanks, but I'd like to take the test now
Really?
The receptionist looked incredulous
What did you make?
I just needed to familiarize myself with the tools, but I got the hang of it
Sam took out the bird and wound it once and it went flew up about a foot off Sam's hand. The receptionists eyes were wide as she said with some difficulty.
Y-yeah g-go to the right door and they'll test you...
Sam then left the flabberghasted receptionist and walked to the right door. What the receptionist didn't know was that same was a tinker for half of their life and could craft a lot depending on the parts.

In Farmast, Sam had to makeshift a lot of parts from wood back home so this place really brought out Sam's creativity.
Sam pushed open the big swinging red door in front of them.
This time however Sam was hit in the face with a blast of hot air, and thier eyes dimmed to look around. This area seemed to be a forge with many people bustling to build things. Strange weapons and arnaments lined tables with various groups of people working diligently.
You there!
Huh?!
A large man waltzed over to Sam and sized him up and down.
Yeah you, you here for the test?
Um yeah...What do i do?
Your late! people who wanted to test should've been here 4 hours ago! but if your here now it means the receptionist let you in. Alright! Your behind everyone else and you only have 8 hours to work on your craft!
The topic of the test is Weapons, you should make something lightweight, powerful, and whether or not it can be used on a mecha.
While they were talking the big man slowly pushed Sam to an empty station and sat them down explaining the rules, Sam got the gist of it, but was wondering what to do.
What should Sam make?

Sweet Minds
"No one can see it, some can feel it, and only the few can use it. We belong to the few." Marith Merryfield felt anything but merry that morning. She found herself waiting for a delayed train on a deserted platform, in the freezing cold of the Dutch autumn. Just when the strangeness is making her consider turning around and going back home an empty train rolls into the station. For reasons unclear to this day she decides to get onboard. An unlikely, and quite impossible, train accident is about to hurtle her into a world she had always suspected existed. It was a dark and absurd place she had rejected and suppressed when she was young. Now she would need that dormant part of herself to survive. After a brief hospitalization she must choose between two continents and finds herself reluctantly boarding a plane to Oregon to be reunited with her shadows. She returns to the town she grew up in, which is where her father still lives and her childhood memories linger. By the end of the week the mysterious train accident turns out to be the least of her problems. Her life was never supposed to become this serious this fast. Through an improbable and unfortunate series of events she is soon introduced to a motley crew of characters that appear to be carrying the same struggles through life. They possess a familiar sense of inadequacy and insecurity. Marith realizes that for the first time in her life she has found herself a tribe, or, as they prefer to call it, a Chain. She is introduced to a world of Prophets, Runners and Mages led by an Oracle and a Watchmaker. Over the course of several weeks Marith learns that, together with her Chain, she is expected to save this fabric of reality, by fighting a mysterious and immortal creature and his aggressive pet. In order to have a chance at overcoming this force of nature she has to revisit the darkest and most desolate corners of her mind. ***** The total word count of the first 12 chapters amounts to about 85.000 words.
