I looked behind my back to see a bunch of bushes shaking, and what came out was some kind or rabbit, but this rabbit had grey fur and two horns coming out of its head, and the horns, the horns looked like they were branching out, ‘phew its only a rabbit’

I mentally was relieved that it wasn’t something dangerous, so I was just staring at it, Examining it, we stood there for a second just staring when I noticed the name hovering above its head,

‘Oh its one of those mythical animal, hmm.. I read about them from this game, can’t remember the name of the game tho’ while thinking in my head about the jackalope I heard a dinging sound again

the ground was shaking and I noticed that something big was approaching, I ran with my slime behind a huge tree and hid there, noticing me running away the rabbit also followed me and hoped on my head, *rustle* I hid inside the bushes that was behind the big tree so I could also see what was coming,

The sound was coming closer by the second. I could hear many big steps taken has the ground shook from the tremor, like they were running, like it was a hoard of animals running, and on my cue from saying animals what came out was a bunch of reptilian creatures that were big, nearly the same height has the big trees, their necks were long and there was a lot of them, I squinted my eyes to look closer, to see what was the name of these creatures,

‘Whoa three hundred that creature is a lot stronger than me, considering I’m just level one’

Anyways the tremors died down a little bit and I got out of the bushes scratching my arm

“I feel like that bush did not welcome us”

okay right now I just tamed two animals.

‘not sure if the slime is an animal’

but how did I tamed them, I didn't even befriended them, well I guess the rabbit was scared so it must have trusted me.

I guess for the slime, I must have did something. meh forget about it, thinking about it hurts my head. okay i have to name this rabbit, I looked at the rabbit and said.

“Your name shall now be Argus”

Pet grey jackalope has been changed to ARGUS

After the ding Argus changed into a key, the key was golden color, while the neck had a design like branches twisting around it, the symbol on the bow was an upside down V with a line in the middle.

“Okay now that’s done I guess I should also look at your stats, ARGUS STATS!”

I said while looking at them, seeming to response to my compliment they both bounced in a joyous way.

“okay, now I need to find, people, a village or at least people, and better cloths”

looking at my ragged black shirt, dirty with dirt knee high pants and what seems to be old worn leather boots.

‘whose body did I use to reincarnate?’

“okay guys, let’s go!”

Reacting to my command they both turned into keys but before they did Argus pointed to northwest, trying to tell me to go in that direction.

‘I guess that’s okay, since he can sense magical beast, I mean if there are elves, dwarfs, or demons I guess they are considered magical creatures,’

I continued my path towards where Argus pointed at and also being cautious, because judging from those level 300+ beast I’m guessing that this forest is dangerous and highly not near any human or any races village, after walking for I guess an hour or so it started to get dark, well not entirely dark because the sun was just setting.

“This isn’t good, I have to find shelter soon or else I might die, I’m just lv.1 and I don’t even know how to fight, SUMMON! ARGUS! AQUA!”

thinking I might die I summoned Argus and aqua, dam, I just realize that they are low leveled to, ugh, but they also have useful abilities, I crouched down so I could talk to them in a low voice.

“look guys, I know you are low leveled but is it okay to protect me, at least until I’m level 10 because if this system is just like a game the I might be able to gain points and allocate them to one of my stat and I’m going to put them in agility and strength, so I can stronger to protect you two, also while you’re at it I’m also going to train because I think I gain stats from training, is that okay?”

Responding to my honest talk Argus nodded and aqua wiggled, guessing that they approve.

BEFREIND leveled up to two

‘I didn't even heard the dinging sound, huh I guess leveling up this skill might be hard, because I don’t usually do this kind of heartwarming talk to anybody, guess I did it now because I’m afraid, afraid I might die’

After the talk we started walking, to anyplace that feels safe, after two hours of walking the moon was already in the sky, and lighting our way in the forest,

‘it’s already dark and I’ve been hearing grunts and howls from a distance’

while thinking and walking I didn't notice that aqua was trying to get my attention, aqua finally did when I got splashed my water.

‘huh?’ I looked at aqua jumping up and down along with Argus, in front of a tree that had a huge hole.

“Is this place even safe guy’s?”

I said clearly stating my nervousness, and it seemed they noticed it.

*sigh*

I entered the tree to find that it was spacious and to my surprise nothing was in it.

“I guess we will stay here for the night, okay I’m feeling really sleepy so I’m just going to sleep here okay”

I went all the way to the back so if anything entered the tree I can notice them first.

“goodnight guys” I said falling to sleep, has I watch them two guard the entrance.

‘hope they will be safe when I get up, ok I’m going to train hard so I can get stronger’

I said mentally determined so I can protect them, I don’t really know why I just had this feeling of protecting them, that’s why I was honest with my feelings when telling them the truth,

*sigh*

‘I’ll just go to sleep now’
