《Fly in Fantasy》Racial Growth - FLY (3)

The Archewizard Dora felt elated. He was only some steps away from saving the donkey, all he needed was the Dragon's soul and magic. With this, he could protect the donkey from the witch's curse by temporarily changing his race, age and gender. Basically the donkey had to become someone else for a short time so the witch's curse can't target him any more.
Targetted magic spells are extremely dependant on what the Status screen shows to someone, and if enough parametres are different from the target, the witch can cast any spell at it from afar.
It was just poor luck that this donkey accidently broke the legendary pot of Miasma, and the only reason they didn't kill it yet was because the castle itself was untraceable, disconnected from the outer world. But a castle is not a place for a donkey to roam in!
That's why he decided to give his all to save the donkey, and not because the donkey ate through his entire pile of paper about beard growth he researched in the last decade.
At least that'Dora likes to think so.
With soft, careful steps he opened the storage door. The ritual could be done at night without any light, so he hid in the shadows from prying eyes. Slowly he grasped the glass the brain was in and shook it slightly.
Then he placed it on a flurry of red strokes carved into the ground. Each stroke dug 4 centimetres deep and 2 centimetres wide. The strokes all originate from a couple of blue balls floating above the ground.
The Archewizard Dora placed another empty bottle before the bottle of dragon brain and folded his hands together. "Ritual 'Soul Containment' commence."

Blood Drinker
What happens when someone dies? Obviously, they stay dead just kidding they reincarnate, sometimes they get to revisit worlds they have lived before sometimes new, so do good or bad deeds matter? No, it definitely does, chances of being reborn into what your desire increase, or if your bad into what you hate. Each life is supposed to be a learning process for your soul to make amends to fight for what you believe in. Some souls are tainted and they continue to taint themselves and the others around, so too does the opposite happen. Kindred souls are drawn together and they can bring calamity or salvation to their respective worlds. But what does this have to do with the story well, our friend Alexander is reborn into a world of magic but of course that’s not enough to mention him, no the true reason we will follow his story is because much like there are those who claim to remember their past life, he truly does have a head start in his case. Author's Note: Thanks for taking your time to read my first try at writing. English is my first language, so please correct me on anything that sounds wrong. I'll try to write it once a week, sometimes more if I feel like I’m on a roll but please I hope this stays a pleasant experience for us both.
