"What do you mean you can't find him?" yelled Ziramuk-- the head of the watchers-- and the fortune-teller cringed away from him.
They were in the chambers of the Watch, where the fortune-tellers who watched Psetha stayed. The walls, floor, and the dome were of cold gray stone, lifeless, but the fortune-teller was shivering from fear, not the cold as Ziramuk grabbed him by the collar and shook him.
"Please! Please give us more time!"
Suddenly Ziramuk's eyes went as cold as the stone chambers.
"I already have," he replied, and when he let go of the fortune teller, he fell, as lifeless as the floor.
Ziramuk turned to the other fortune-tellers and spoke as he dusted off his hands, "Now. Find him. Or you will be next."
