As Lord Avner and captain Roland enter the office Olivia slowly leaves the barracks, she doesn't know what to think about the change in the lord.

Olivia: I don’t understand, he just gave me the rest of the day free, I don't know of anybody getting a free day, what should I do? I will go to my room and wait for Maria and miss Christina. Maybe he changed…. No that is not possible, but …. stranger things happened, it says that God works in mysterious ways, maybe he showed the lord the propper road. Who am I kidding its impossible for such a pig and trash of a human being to change!

In the meantime, Lord Avner was having a chat with Roland, but the captain was taken by surprise.

Roland: My lord, are you asking me to train you?

Avner: Yes is there a problem, if you are occupied you can just give me some short instructions on how to use a sword, I think I can manage to do a training routine.

Roland: Sir if I am not too brazen, why do you wish to train with the sword, and especially why do you wish to train physically?

Avner: I have been thinking and it is not a good image for the lord of a domain not to know how to handle a sword, also my physique can use some improvements.

Avner: I can't exactly say that I hate to be fat, I wasn't exactly fit in my previous life but I could at least run for a while without breaking out in sweat immediately, this body is too unhealthy!

Roland: My lord if that is your wish, I will personally train you, when would my lord like to start the training?

Avner: I am glad you can train me, if possible I would like to start today before lunch, I am going to change into something more proper for training, and I shall meet you in the courtyard!

Roland: Certainly my lord, I will be waiting for you there!

And so Avner now has an instructor to help him lose weight and also to train him in the art of swordsmanship! Lord Avner left the barracks in haste so that he will not make Roland wait too long for him, a short while after Avner left the guard's grounds Avner left his office:

Roland: Gill! Sebastian! Come here right now!

As soon as he left his office he shouted for two guards, them expecting something else when they heard their name, they kneeled and started begging!

Gill, Sebastian: Please captain we don't want to be punished please! Captain don't be harsh, we didn't do anything wrong!

The two men started crying like children, wrongly thinking that captain Roland was about to punish them!

Roland: What the hell are you two talking about, get up now, you are not going to be punished where did you get that stupid idea?

Gill: Sir but lord Avner came in and saw our quarters and even asked for my name, why would he do that, I expected to be punished for the alcohol and the mess.

Roland: I don't know why the hell he asked for your name, but for sure it wasn't to punish you.

Gill: So why did lord Avner come here to talk to you, sir?

Roland: He sent me some cookies and pastries, I was about to tell you guys to share them with the other men after lunch. And also prepare two training swords and some dummies in the courtyard of the mansion!

Sebastian: Why is that sir are we going to train there?

Roland: Not you two, I will train Lord Avner!

Gill, Sebastian: Training Lord Avner!!???

Roland: Yeah, I don't get it myself but that is why he came here, to ask me personally to train him.

Sebastian: Why would he do that sir?

Gill: Maybe he wants to impress a girl!

Sebastian: Who would ever look at a rotten guy like him!

Roland: Silence!! He may not be the best person, but he is our Lord, he pays us, and we need to respect his orders, and he asked me to train him, and so I am going to train him! So shut it and get to work get those sword and training dummies in the courtyard, I was expecting them yesterday!

Gill, Sebastian: Yes sir captain!

And so the two men ran to the storage to prepare the courtyard they didn't want to anger the captain anymore, they had more questions, but so did the captain, he just hoped that Avner will tell him more about why he wanted to train!
