When Beta joined the rebellion group it doesn’t have many people and enough funds to operate properly so, he went to Markus and said

Beta: Sir, I have an idea to quickly gather funds and ammunition for the rebellion army.

Markus:(surprised) What plan Beta?

Beta: Sir with our current number we can attack on the nearby Lord Arthur's estate and gather everything the army needs. I even heard that even among the alliance he has an enormous amount of wealth.

Markus:(with a painful voice) No, we can't attack his estate because if it's lord Arthur's estate I am sure there will be a large force on security.

Beta:(With a loud voice) TRUST ME, SIR! With an army skilled like us, I am sure we can pull this off.

Markus: My orders are final, Young Man.

Beta:(while sobbing) My father worked there when he was alive and I went inside of his estate many times so, I know there aren't many guards around.

Markus:(also sobbing) That's not my only concern. Lord Arthur is the one who killed my wife and daughter.

Beta:(While putting his hands on Markus's shoulder) Then you must be more eager to go there than me.

Markus:(After wiping his tears) Ok we will go, you gave me courage young man. Thanks for that.

After that everyone concluded that they will raid Lord Arthur’s estate the next night.

Then the night came and the band started to move according to plan. Then after taking down all the guards outside of the estate’s fencing, they light their torches and see a large army of soldiers resting in the Lord’s estate. Markus rushes toward Beta and asks him

Markus:(while panicking) Beta, you said there will be fewer men but here's a whole battalion's worth of soldiers.

Beta:(while laughing) That's why I called you all here because this day will determine whether or not the rebellion could fight the Alliance or not.

Markus: You bastard, you know what did you just do.

Beta:(while putting his hand on Markus's shoulder) Yeah, I knew what I wanted to do and it's slaying the alliance soldiers.

Markus:(completely shocked) Only due to your craziness we all are going to die today.

Markus was frightened because of Beta’s words and shouted retreat to all his soldiers. Markus thought the soldiers notice him but they didn’t notice him until he shouts. After hearing Markus, the soldiers took their swords and start rushing towards the retreating band but suddenly they saw Beta standing in front of them wielding swords in both of his hands. Then some soldiers try to fight him but he cut him off into two different parts. Everyone was shocked after seeing Beta’s power so, the Lord’s army decided to let John the sacred knight fight him. John attacked Beta on his legs but his attacks were not of any use because every time Beta was able to block them. Then he tries to change his strategy by attacking his shoulder but when he lifts his sword he was stabbed by Beta in his stomach. When John was looking at the injury Beta broke his sword with his second sword and then decapitate him. All the soldiers of the Lord’s army were frightened because John was the strongest among them and Beta killed him without even getting any injury. Then the Lord’s soldiers in the rear fire their muskets at him but he ended up dodging it and when he looked back, he saw nine of his comrades got shot. He went towards them and took a pistol and put it in his pocket. After seeing Beta’s fight, the band's morale got to rise and they also start attacking the enemy army. Then beta went on a rampage on killing soldiers one after other and by the morning the whole battalion of soldiers was massacred by Beta. It was an overwhelming victory for the rebellion band because they enlist all the slaves and took all the money that belong to Lord Arthur along with the large amounts of muskets. The next day Markus call Beta into his office

Markus: Beta tell me what happened to you in your past because what you say to me earlier was a lie.

Beta: Okay, I guess I can trust you now.

Then Beta told him all the events that happened to him. After that Markus hugs Beta tightly and says

Markus:(while crying) How could I say thank you to you after what you have done for me.

Beta: Stop, you are hurting me.

Markus: Sorry, I knew that Royal academy guys are amazing but you are on another level.

Beta: My parents always told me that you are born strong and the strong must always protect the weak.

Markus: You had wonderful parents Young man. It's a shame they are not in this world anymore. Looks like God is taking all the good people up with him.

Beta: I could agree with you on this.

Markus: You have to agree.

Beta: Markus if you want. I could even get the head of Lord Arthur's in your legs. Just order me.

Markus:(eyes filled with tears) No, I order you to defeat the alliance and save the humans from the Lizardmen.

Beta:(with a grin on his face) Look's like you are the boss for a reason but no matter what you order me now I will follow your every order until I die.

It was that time Markus realised that with Beta he has a chance to overthrow the alliance’s rule and defeat the Lizardmen. Then the whole band party all night and at that party, Markus announced that Beta is going to be the head of the attack division squad. After a lot of struggle Beta thought that he finds a place that is most suitable for him.
