"So? What do you say?" Tendo grinned widely.

"I'll have to see to tell", the man called Marshall looked on sternly.

"Haha! Of course" Tendo chortled.

"Get the girl" Tendo ordered. The men on standby hurried to the task.

Soon enough, they reappeared with a tiny girl. She was hardly 3 feet and looked to be six years of age. Her eyes were half open and her expression was placid. Judging from her bruises, she had been beaten up recklessly.

Marshall smiled, "What a rare combination. People will love it" he smacked his lips.

"Right? Rare blonde hair and crystal blue eyes for just 150 silver" Tendo beamed but cursed inwardly, 'this girl! After all that work she is finally conscious now?!'

Marshall scrutinized the girl then nodded, "I'll take it"

Tendo clapped his hand and grinned widely, "Thank you, Marshall"

Agnes had been half awake till she was loaded in a carriage but couldn't hold her conscious up anymore and had collapsed. She felt odd as her body.... the pain she should feel wasn't there. She didn't know why. She sat up and looked around. Her eyes stopped at her left.

There was a girl there sharpening a wooden spear. The girl seemed just notice Agnes's movements.

"I'm Aileen", she said curtly and then looked up, " You?"

Agnes stared at her for a while before looking at her self. She was dressed in a pale brown gown. Nothing she had before was with her. She suddenly felt tears rush to her eyes but she held them back just as fast.

"What? Are you ignoring me?" Aileen scoffed and her attention was back to sharpening her spear.

Agnes opened her mouth to speak but no sound came out. That surprised her so she tried again. But nothing.

Her eyes widened and she held her throat trying to cough but still no sound.

'What is going on?!' She shrieked inwardly.

A faint bell resounded throughout the room. Aileen grabbed her spear and walked towards the door.

"To think i tried to talk to you because you were out for 2 days" she mumbled and was out the door.

It was then Agnes took a good look at her body.

'If my memory is right, I was beaten up...' She inspected her hands and then her legs. There was not even a scratch on it.

'Did they heal me?' She thought but as soon as the thought came she shoved it aside. She ran her mind through everything that had happened and she held her throat. Just for instant, her eyes turned black.

'The voice that Mom liked....'

With that she got up and walked out the metal doors that Aileen went through.

Once at the door passage, she saw many people walking in one direction. Many looked like adults and some were of her age. Few of them wore the brown gown that she wore.

There was chattering from all directions of the huge hall. She felt a bit intimated but apart from a few glances no one payed much attention.

Shrugging her shoulders, she walked with the grown and soon found herself in a bigger room.

"Wow!" She tried to exclaim but no sound came out.

The room was humongous but apart from that it was extremely plain. Having lived indoors majorly, Agnes was a bit fascinated.

"We are under the Colosseum", a voice close to her ear spoke.

She turned to see a boy who was a head taller than her, dressed in black and carrying a sword.

"New?" He said non chalantly.

She nodded softly.

"Figured. There's soot all over your face"

'Soot...what's that?' She thought but touched her face a bit and looked at her hand. It was covered in black dust. After considering whether to vigorously wipe it off or ignore it, she nodded at the boy and walked away.

"The profits from yesterday was huge" Marshall chortled away at the corner of the room with men who looked at least 35. They chugged the huge beer in their bottles and laughed.

"It is expected from the storm queen to rake in such profits!" an obviously drunk man laughed savagely.

"Who wouldn't pay to see her massacre her opponents", replied another with a playful look as his right eye was covered by his black hair

Marshall's eyes scanned the room with a grinned plastered on his face. Every living thing under the colloseum was there to get him money. There were more 'Savages' than gladiators and Marshall was glad of that. The savages were not eligible to get paid a dime until they earned high ranking in 'Dark Home'.

Suddenly, Marshall caught the sight of long blonde hair at the edge of his perception and the wide grin on his face disappeared replaced by disbelief.

"T-That..."

"Hmm? What's wrong?" A man with spike blue hair turned to him.

"Huh? Nothing!" He waved it off and laughed with the chattering men. Then at the side of his eyes looked back.

The girl who he bought for a very cheap 150 rals that was half dead. She was scarless.

He ran countless simulations in his mind before narrowing his eyes then as thought nothing had happened, he smiled cheerfully.

Just as he smiled, his eyes met the eyes of the little blonde girl.

There was nothing in her eyes. No emotion at all. Her face had a blank expression then she turned away.

He was a bit stunned. Usually, the new ones glared at him and their hatred was evident. He brushed it off and turned away.

"That's a new reaction", he scoffed and his mind was back to ogling the profits he had made, 'Hehe, these men think they can make me share the profits' he thought keeping up his cheerful facade

----------------------------------------------------------

Agnes stared at the man who bought her.

She wanted to kill him, shred him to pieces! It was the first time she truly wanted to kill someone. Oddly enough, she felt no hatred for Tendo. No, she didn't even fully register Tendo's existence in her mind. She was found in the forest and almost immediately after, she was sold. If anything, she was thankful to him for getting her out of her lifeless state of grieving and self hatred. But Marshall, she hated him. For buying her? No. She just hated him. It was irrational. There was no profound reason just an instinctual hate. And that hate made her want to remove him from her sight. It was irrational.

It took all that she had to turn away from the man. She knew how weak she was. No matter what she wanted, the Agnes right now was just powerless.

Right when she was about to turn away, she felt something in her about to take over her. She froze on the spot trying not to slip out of control of her body. Narowing her eyes, she wondered what exactly that was. She had an inkling but wasn't sure and just sighed inwardly, 'Mom...' Something like this had happened when she killed Cameron. 'Something' just took over. She registered the direction most people walked in and followed. Then a drop of blood slid out of her mouth and she wiped it off quickly.
