“What…? How were you even able to get a message from him?”
>
>
“Okay, well… lets see,” Erick opened up the message box by dragging his mental cursor onto the bottom of the screen. When he highlighted over it, it lit up just like it would on a computer monitor.
[Message from Knight of Yelverton]
[Mission Request]
[Dear Erick, the Velvet Militia has become like a two-sided coin. One side of the coin is trying to defect to the Fernet Alliance to try and disrupt order, and the other side is trying to weed out the poisonous, lecherous fiends that our defiling our honor… pg. 1 / 2]
[…. We’re hoping you’ll continue the fight. I’m offering you 10,000 gold to take out four nearby serf-lands underneath the Knight of Teesta, It is recommended that you destroy them all in the same day, otherwise, I fear he may set up an ambush and kill you…]
[If you wish to accept, please build another barn. My scout will see it.]
“Okay, so… this is getting intense… What about the Horde, System? If I leave my base, will the timer change?”
>
>
“I guess I have no choice to accept it then. He actually had the balls to attack my village when I was getting attacked by the Horde… He’s going to pay for what he’s done.”
Erick opened up his building menu.
Quickly he built a barn and sighed before entering back into the house.
Pepper was in the kitchen making enough food for 35 men and women. Gwen, on the other hand, was at a sewing machine with the . She’d been working on silk armor diligently for the last thirty minutes. Overall, the girls seemed too distracted to notice him corralling his troops.
“Erick…. Is everything alright, you haven’t said anything to me after the battle… I know we just got married, but you got to keep me in the loop!” Pepper said, rubbing her hand through his head.
“I… I’m also waiting to find out what the secret of your pants is… We can’t go on any dates if you keep sitting there with your eyes closed!”
“Pepper… I’m going to go on a date with you after I go take care of something… I just accepted a mission from a Knight… It looks like your husband is moving up in the world!”
“Okay, well I can wait… Gwen was teaching me somethings… I can’t wait to show you when you get back.”
“Don’t worry, hon,” Gwen added, turning over the dark material in her hands. “She can’t remain innocent forever… I just taught her a few things with a banana.”
“Hahahaha! You didn’t have to teach her that… She could’ve just learned with from the hard way…. Ugh… I got to go guys!”
….
Erick opened up his map after closing his eyes.

Four locations had been marked with the information supplied by the Knight of Yelverton… All of them were on acreages roughly the same size as his own.
The journey to them didn’t take very long.
When he arrived at the first property, a small army was already waiting for him on the field. A peasant with a staff approached him with large strides,
>
>
“Right, you’ve still yet to show me why you’re special… Okay, I accept his invitation to talk… However, is there any way to prove that he’s a defector?”
>
>
“That definitely make sense… Does his emblem have a boost like it does in the game?” Erick was referring to familial crests.
Crests in the game boosted stats based on the level of the family, which was known as a lineage blessing. Judging by the simplicity of it, it couldn’t be more than a simple lineage blessing.
The lineage blessings had classes like everything else. If Erick became a knight, he’d get his own simple insignia. However, he didn’t think it’d be any time soon he made it to level 15.
“Hey! Didn’t know a fifth member joined Teesta’s foray into becoming a Baron.. What’s your name little one, and what brings you to my farm?”
“I just had a very bad… very bad raid… Another Knight named Yelverton attacked me during a Horde attack… I lost nearly all my buildings, and figured it be better to move a little further from the line.”
“Oh, I see! Yeah, that bastard Yelverton has been trying to get in our way! There was even some serf around here that just became a Lord! I was promised by Teesta that I’d even get one of his woman… Shame its taking him for so long to arrive!”
“What I would’ve done to that girl if I got my hands on her.” The man named Cornel said, “I love my wife, but she would’ve been another story! Eventually, I’m sure she’d fall in love with me… What is that thing called? Stock hold syndrome?
Erick grinded his fist.
Suddenly, he began to feel noticeably enraged. He’d just met Pepper, but the way this man was talking about her made him sick to his stomach.
Sure, this was based on the sixteenth century. However, when he’d played the game the NPCs were always friendly with kingly dispositions or meek and lovely to talk to.
“To be honest,” Erick said, “I think the girl you’re talking about is the sweetest, most naïve, and most beautiful person that man could’ve ever met… If you don’t mind coming over here… I can even show you a picture!”
“Yes, let me see!” Cornel smiled and approached, bending over to look at the little locket in Erick’s hand. “What she look like… show me now before I kick you off my property for being such a bootlicker.”

Erick held out his hand as the man looked down. His conscience told him not to do what he was about to do, but his rage didn’t quite mind. After seeing people murdered in front of him, he felt a little bit more cold hearted then usual.
Was it the air he was breathing?
A large shot out of his hand at close range as the man bent down to take a look. Unfortunately, he dodged to the side with the blade only causing blood to fly out of his arm.
“Ah! You little treacherous rat! I knew you was pretending…”
>
Erick sent out a attack with his shovel and hit the man square in the jaw. He’d only gotten a chance to say a few words before his head seemed to turn and spin with his body.
>
>
“Well that was easy…” Erick looked somewhat disturbed at what he’d done. “I mean… did he really die from a shovel bash? Will his soldiers get mad at me?”
>
>
>
Erick nodded his head as he received this information. However, he couldn’t see himself destroying an entire village. He’d rather his enemy find out than kill innocent men.
He’d already seen Hermon kill a villager without batting an eye. He didn’t mind killing an evil person, however, he wasn’t the type to not have morals.
Across from him, the soldiers fell on their knees as he began to walk away. A few of the villagers rushed out crying as they picked up Cornel and looked over at him.
Surprisingly, the lady who came out rather than crying tears of sadness seemed to be crying tears of joy. She laughed loudly before she shovel bashed Cornel’s dead body in the face.
“Heh! He’s finally dead! He’s finally dead!” The lady screamed, nearly hitting him six feet beneath the cold, hard ground. “Stupid bastard only cared about himself! Didn’t even blink when he sold our daughter to the Knight of Teesta!”
>
>
>
“I see that… wow… now I don’t feel so bad, hahaha!” Erick walked over and patted her on the shoulder. When she turned around, she looked at him with a maddened smile.
“I… I should want to kill you, but I want to kiss you… You’re a little bit too young for me, but definitely a sight for sore eyes… If you willing to find my daughter, I’ll give you all our supplies, 3000 wood, 800 food, and 200 gold… what do you say Lord?”
“Yes… I mean… shouldn’t you tell me what she looks like first? I mean… I accept your mission, but would you mind telling me about her?” Erick felt somewhat worried as he looked into her cold eyes, she looked like a beast that had been kept in a cage for too long.
She also said ex-husband… Did that mean she was living in the house with her new husband’s wife? He didn’t even want to begin to imagine what her life was like. Just looking into her brown saddened eyes, telling she’d gone through some terrible things was evident.
“She looks like me but she’s roughly 21 years old and has a large chest and a big ass! If you find another girl like her in two hundred miles of here I’ll be surprised! Her name is Wendy… if you see that name, shouldn’t it be enough?”
“Yup… I accept!”
>
[You’ve have accepted the quest find Wendy]
[Wendy has been taken by the Knight of Teesta and placed in a special place in his House Manor. She’s been taken for her good looks, but not without putting up a fight. You’ll find her in the basement of Teesta’s Palatial Abode.]
[Reward: 3000 wood, 800 food, 200 gold]
[Difficulty level F-]
[You’ve already accepted this mission]
…
Erick seemed rather upbeat on the way to the next serf’s territory. The air was completely placid and calm, making his lungs feel completely vitalized and refreshed.
He’d spent most of his life in his room, playing video games, and trying to be the best at World of Lorestan. However, being inside of it was like a million times better. He even had two beautiful women waiting for him at home, and he could run really fast….
The skies seemed to shine on him as he walked straight into the village of the next serf under Teesta’s control. There appeared to be three large men guarding the doorway, they were all wearing the armor of Teesta’s soldiers.
Since he’d leveled up to level 5, he’d also gotten a major stat boost.
He felt more confident and sure of himself, and felt even better with the system’s prompt.
>
>
“Wait… will I be able to defeat them? Are you able to sense their levels?” Erick bowed to the guards before they looked at his armor and decided to let him into the stable.
He didn’t have a chance to slow down at this point.
There were eight attack towers on this peasant’s base, and he was clearly a higher level than him judging by the buildings on his territory.
At this point, though, there was no turning back, and he walked into the room with three of his strongest men. They’d also leveled up to level 5 and were the men originally under Hermon.
“Excuse me… Sorry, I didn’t mean to budge in, but I was told by the Knight of Teesta to come here…” Erick said, bowing as he entered the space. “I’m new here… I just met Cornel and his wife… nice to see you all gathered here…”
