Eleanor observed the situation while gritting her teeth. Her previous smile was nowhere to be seen. The current situation just went to shit.
Seijirou wasn't feeling well either. Being fooled to such a level was truly spectacular. Still, there was one problem,
"Why are you still here? I doubt the fact that you do not have a way to teleport like you did with those friends of your."
"Of course I have one left."
'I have six but you don't need to know that."
"It's just that I am rather angry right now and I need to vent a little."
'I am angry, but I also need to dig your secrets.'
"Anyway, what do I have to lose by toying a little with you?"
'I am risking my life, but I need to get that intel. I need to act fast'
It was the first time he lied so much. He never liked doing so, but it was surprisingly fun to lie to your enemies. Still, right now he was sweating bullets. A Longinus user should never be judged using common sense. He didn't know what she was able to do, neither did he wish to know. As such he needed to finish it fast and flee before that old woman came.
"Now, now, why don't we end this situation?"
Then, he simply did something surprising. Despite being in front of his enemies, he...closed his eyes.
-----
He was slowly sinking deep in his own mind, his destination was that throne room. Once he reached there, he stared at the still breathtaking beautiful woman. Sadly, it wasn't the moment to drown in her beauty. He walked and stopped only when he was just a few centimeters away from her.
Looking down at her from so close, he remarked how short she was compared to him. He slowly stretched his hand and said,
{Evermillion, I think that it's time for me to use you. No, for me to fight together with you. What do you think? Will you lend me your power?}

Evermillion watched impassively the hand in front of her before looking up at the man that was now her master,
{Are you ready to kill? Do you have the resolve to kill?}
A small smile appeared on his face after hearing this question.
{I see that despite being in my head, you can't read all my thoughts if I don't expressly try to speak with you.}
She tilted her head, she couldn't understand what he meant.
{You can't read my thoughts, because if you could, you wouldn't pose this question. Resolve? I was already ready the moment I accepted you. Do not look down on me, Evermillion. I am ready to do everything for my dream. Even if it means that I must become a monster. Even if it means I must discard my own humanity. The only reason I didn't use you until now, wasn't about hypocrisy, even though I am quite a hypocrite nor was its weakness even though I am still a weakling. No, the simple reason was that I wished my first kill to be meaningful.}
{...Meaningful?}
{Yes. I know my own weakness. I will most likely never forget the first time I take a life. It will be something that will be eternally branded in my mind and my heart. I want the first one I kill to be someone who is really worthy of dying. Someone worthy of the definition of evil. Someone who hurt those I cared for. Someone whose death will not weigh heavily on my consciousness. It might seem cowardly. But so what? I will do things my way. So? What will you do?}
She looked at him with a thoughtful light in the eyes, then she stretched her hand and nodded,
{...I see...Then...I will lend you my power. Show me, how far you'll go.}
The moment, they clasped their hand, together, Azrael could feel it. An undeniable truth.
'I am not alone.'
Even if the whole world were to betray him, the one in front of him would never do so. This thought brought a heartfelt smile on his face.

Even though this discussion was somewhat lengthy, few things were faster than thoughts. From the perspective of Eleanor and Seijirou, this conversation didn't even last one second. One second he closed his eyes, and the next one he opened them. But the difference was earth-shattering.
Azrael, felt as if he was reborn. It was as if the world around him had changed. The moment he thought so, the tattoos on the back of his hand lit up with a scarlet light, and a chant appeared in the back of his mind,
It was a beautiful chant,
A chant that would bring him power,
But it was also an incomplete chant.
He smiled, even if it was incomplete, it would still be overkill to use it on those two. He didn't want to do so, but his soul wanted to sing that chant, and as such, he sang,
What followed weren't beautiful words nor a beautiful voice, but rather, an almost guttural song as if coming from the deepest part of hell,
>
A deep dark crimson light began to envelop his body.
>
This light condensed to the point of looking like a ball.
>
No, rather than a ball, it was more like a cocoon
>
This cocoon seemed to be slowly absorbed into the body of Azrael.
>
Azrael, who had been completely exhausted could feel it, as he submerged in this light, he was being healed and brought to peak state
>
Finally, a calm voice devoid of all emotions sounded,
>
and was followed by,
*ROOOAAAAR!!!!!!!*
A roar so loud it seemed to shake heaven and earth sounded in their ears.
During all this, the world was dyed scarlet, as a large pillar ascended toward the sky, illuminating the whole city. Those chants resonated in the ear of all those in the vicinity, making them feel as if they could taste blood on their tongues and see the body of thousands of people.
Some of the mages crouched down as their whole body shivered in fright.
Some of them kneeled as they begged for salvation.
The weaker one simply fainted as their mind couldn't process the situation.
Eleanor and Seijirou weren't spared. The only reason they weren't a mess was that they were of a higher level of power. Still, they couldn't help but widen their eyes as they gazed at this display. It was like...witnessing the end of the world.
Then, as if it was a lie, the light vanished as fast as it had appeared and the voice asking for death and destruction ceased.
What stood at the center, was still the same boy, but he was totally different. He wasn't a kind angel anymore. But simply a monster of destruction.
---
Eleanor, paled as she faced the one in front of her. Right now, if there was one thing she regretted the most in this world, then it was to have accepted this mission.
The armor exuded a raw, almost bestial might. It did not have the sleek, polished curves of noble smithing, but instead, its stained silver warped into curved spikes and skeletal edges that spoke not of elegant duels, but of the hunt, of brutal, untamed slaughter.
On his back, three weapons could be seen.
One long crimson spear, about 180 cm long, and two long swords.
Then, as if complementing this armor, three pairs of wings emerged from behind him. Those wings lost their previous whiteness and became completely gray.
Finally, his face was hidden by a helmet with three horns, two at the side, and one on the front.
Gone was the kind and handsome angel, what replaced it was a being encased from head to toe in an armor that simply screamed death.
