At this time, the woman who was in charge of the data collection in the esper potential and determination test arrives in front of the office door located in one of the highest towers within the Aven Institute of Technology. She knocks.

“Please come in.” A calm voice resounds from within.

The woman enters and reports. “Hello President, I hope that you are doing well. I’m here today to report some interesting information that may be of use from a member who had undergone the esper potential and determination test.” She walks towards the desk in which the one addressed as the student council president sits behind and provides a tablet containing the report.

The woman continues to explain the details, “Today, a student from Kami Institute by the name of Feng Ye had exhibited peculiar behaviour and ability in the esper potential and determination test. He is undoubtedly an esper who is likely to have a mind related ability. He is able to shield the sensors when it was time for him to enter the secondary validation test in the capsule. It is also suspected that he is trying to hide his ability based on his behaviour. That’s all.”

The student council president nods while she transfers the data to her computer. Once the transfer of data is complete, she deletes the file from the woman’s tablet and hands it back to her.. “Thank you for the report and good work.”

The woman receives the tablet bows and exits.

Once the woman from the complex leaves, the student council president further analyzes the data obtained and verifies the information. She mutters to herself, “Potential mind ability… perhaps… he may be able to help her as well.”

The student council takes some time to silence to ponder outcomes. She then comes to a decision a few moments later and proceeds to send a notification through the student enforcer team network privately to Kotori Miku.

“NOTICE: Hello Kotori Miku, please meet me in the student council office as soon as you can. I will be waiting here for your arrival. - SCP”

The time is around 1AM. Kotori receives the notification and the initials SCP immediately catch her attention. SCP is an acronym which stands for the student council president. Immediately, she heads out to the Aven Institute of Technology.

Meanwhile, “Feng Ye” strolls around on the ground floor. Shira long had the interest to explore this floor. The complex is active and running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and never sleeps. In the following 24 hours, Shira plans to explore happily. As “Feng Ye”, Shira uses Feng Ye’s credit card to purchase all sorts of different dishes to taste. All senses essentially can be experienced by Shira during the Shira Takeover condition. As Feng Ye had previously trained until he was exhausted, Shira was able to consume quite a large quantity of food.

Shira strolls through the numerous stores and wander through the many corridors connecting the various halls. An Internet gaming cafe catches her eye. From Feng Ye’s memories, these cafes were one of Feng Ye’s destinations that he had wanted to experience in his old world. Unfortunately, he had never had the chance as he had unfortunately stumbled upon a space crevice. She, as “Feng Ye”, strolls into the gamer’s paradise. Shira was quite curious on why Feng Ye had such a huge desire to experience this type of cafe.

The Internet Gaming cafe that Shira wanders into is a very top tier one. It has three floors filled with gaming equipment and top tier gaming computers. This particular location is very popular among gamers as numerous stations are rented out frequently. It is also very lively and busy. To try it out, Shira decides to rent a gaming station for a few hours. She decides to log into the popular MOBA, League of Legends, as it was a game that Feng Ye had played in his idle time back in his old world. Equipped with Diamond ranked Feng Ye’s knowledge, Shira began her first gaming experience.

Kotori arrives and enters to student council president’s office after knocking. The student council president smiles towards her and indicates for her to take a seat across from her.

“Hello Kotori-san, I hope that you have been well. Here, please take a look at this.” She immediately directs the conversation to the topic at hand and provides Kotori the tablet containing Feng Ye’s data.

“I am well, Akeno-san. Thanks.” Kotori looks over the information and her eyes widen in shock.

Noticing her shocked expression, Akeno smiles. “Yes, your roommate is not a simple fellow. Although weak, he does show promise…”

“Akeno-san…. Do you think there’s a possibility that he could help my sister?” Kotori asks with a tone of hope and a little anticipation.

“It may be possible for him to attempt, but I am still unsure of the probability of success….. Your sister, Kotori Kotomi, hasn't had much progress in recovery since our treatments...” Akeno sighs.

Kotori clenches her fist in anger. “Those selfish board of director members…if it weren’t for them, she wouldn’t have turned out like this...”

“Yes, your sister… she is really unstable and would lash out at anyone around her with no hesitation be it friend or enemy…”Akeno continues.

“Can we let Feng Ye try? He shows promise, but I’m not sure if he could handle the mental burden…” Kotori asks.

“He is able to shield detection which also allows us to speculate that such ability allows him to have a stronger mental fortitude than most espers. Although, he isn’t that much physically, his mental strength should be quite formidable. It may be the key to your sister’s issue.” Akeno analyzes.

“I will try to ask him to attempt..” Kotori resolutely states.

Kotori Miku’s sister, Kotori Kotomi, was a formidable and well know esper within the Aven Institute of Technology. Her esper ability is very formidable and had peaked major interest in the research community. She had the ability to manipulate gravity. With her contributions, training rooms like the gravity training areas were significantly improved. Her formidable ability had also attracted the selfish visions from the board of directors. With many benefits and advantages, they had convinced her to partake in the Esper Enhancement Program. A program that outwardly proclaimed to help espers to reach a higher potential and contribute valuable research data to help the masses.

Unfortunately, she realized too late that the program actually only served the interests of the board of directors. After trying to back out, she was grasped and forcibly confined while researchers continued to conduct experiments and push the limitations of her ability. Through external shock, pressure, and the elements, her ability exponentially increased, however, her mind became unstable. The researchers were able to successfully discover the method to exceed the limitations, however, they underestimated her growth. Through rampaging, she was able to break free of her restraints and massacre the staff of that particular facility. After doing so, she collapses from exhaustion and was found by the student council.

Kotori Kotomi had exhausted all the energy that she had during her rampage. The student council decided to temporarily detain her for the safety of the public while working on a solution to recover her. Thus, Kotori Kotomi, can be found in a straightjacket with medical restraints in medicated sleep within the lowest levels of the Aven Institute of Technology. Naturally, she is still cared for as a patient, however, she is restrained until a solution can be found to help her recovery.

Her younger sister, Kotori Miku, frequently visits her. Seeing her elder sister in such a state is equivalent to a knife carving into her heart. She is always actively searching for a solution. This also explains why she suggested to Feng Ye to be wary of such a program. The public isn’t informed of these events due to the board of directors’ huge influence. This incident was publically announced as an accident due to the negligence of employees. It was publicly stated that the incident was due to a failure in the operation procedures in which some machinery had overheated and caused a chain reaction of explosions.

Kotori Kotomi’s incident also had further convinced the student council to be wary of the selfish board of directors. Thus, a subtle contradiction eventually became into a massive one between the two organizations.

“I will be heading back now. Thanks for the information.” Kotori Miku then gives the tablet back the Akeno and takes her leave.

“Yes, take care.” Akeno replies.

Meanwhile, in the Internet Gaming Cafe, Shira continues to play some matches on her new account. If another individual would look at her screen, they would see many comments exclaiming that she was a smurf. As new accounts had to level up first before they could completely unlock the rest of the features, she was pretty much instantly determined a smurf. Her kill/death/assist ratio only further supports that point with her score of 31/0/12. As her attention was attracted by the game, she didn’t notice that the rest of the stations were completely filled.

An individual who looks likes a young master walks into the cafe and notices how full it is. He strolls to Shira who appears as “Feng Ye” and comments. “Hey, how about you let me take your station, I’ll pay you double the price that you paid?”

As Shira was currently having quite some fun, she declines. “Sorry, not interested.”

This individual is surprised at first then immediately became angry. “Do you know who I am? My father is one of the board of directors.”

Shira continues to play the game. “Cool.” Naturally, Shira also knows that the complex is under the jurisdiction of the student council and this idiot can’t do much. Perhaps, he could be some good training material for her weak host, Feng Ye.

The individual who looks like a young master notices “Feng Ye’s” lack of attention and angrily storms out. This individual then takes his cell phone and immediately posts a request with a reward for some espers to beat Feng Ye black and blue when he steps foot outside of the complex.

It seems like Shira had successfully prepared some matches. Feng Ye will have quite some combat practice.

Eventually, Shira becomes bored and notices the advertisement of a newly opened combat arena on floor B2 as an expansion of the Special Training Areas offered. This had peaked her interest and she decides to head down to take a look.
