Sighing Zulu unhooks his wires from the tablet the general had given him. The quickest way to obtaining data was for his headgear to directly download it, as it would then run through it and throw out useless information; crunching down numbers, specifying major points in people, battle, history etc.

An extremely useful tool for gathering and analysing data, a tool that made his life a billion times easier; a tool he has become reliant on.

He types the number into the tablet, unlocking it whist taking a glimpse outside his room’s window. Currently being 19:17 the lighting of the underground city was starting to dim. The pure white turning to bright orange, simulating that of the sun. If you weren’t looking up at the underground ceiling that was 300meters above, then one would believe the lighting to actually have come from the sun itself. For the light was warm like that of the sun and there was an air current, a breeze that drifted through the place, the combination of the two fooled the senses.

Looking back down, he lets out another sigh. His headgear could not hack into this simple device, something that’s never happened before, something to really worry about, but he pushes on.

He types into the device. It was the enemy he fought for so long, now they seemed to be his allies. The old records didn’t have much of them. Sure a biopsy had been done multiple times upon many dead bodies, the difference was the extra organ with in their bodies and the extra Circulatory system. Separate from the one that passed red and white blood cells, this other set of blood channels passed something of a purplish colour, something so easy to mistake for blood. They never figured out what these extra organs were for.

That was why both humans and non-humans use to actually live together in peace a long time before that. Everyone thought that we were all one and the same race. In a sense everyone was naïve.

“What in the world” Zulu mutters to himself.

He knows that the information he has is not wrong, and so he types it in again.

“Well…shit” he mutters at the number of results he receives.

Adding more key words he specifies his search, cutting down the number of results to only 1,000. Choosing to go with the top result, he opens the first link.

“Seven hundred years” he whispers looking back up and out of the window. “Seven hundred years”

“Seven hundred god damn years” he says a bit louder, a bit angrier. Holding the tablet a bit tighter, he wants to bend it, he wants to snap it in half, but he doesn’t.

“Seven hundred years” he whispers again, very quietly, less angry, calmer, before turning back to the tablet.

Old Human, New Human War.

Quick Summery on the Start and End.

Started in year 3 478 A.D. Ended in 3 641 A.D

There are conflicting results on what really started the world war between the two sides. For simplicity sake we shall be naming one side as Old Human and the other as New Human. According to both records both Old and New Humans records they both state that it was neither them that started it, both stating it was the opposing side that did. It is impossible to truly figure who made the first strike, but blame for the war can be attributed to two very large groups that garnered massive support around 3 475 AD for their opposing ideology.

The Name of these two groups have disappeared over time, due to this purpose we shall call on the Pro- Human and Anti-Human Extremist. It is rumoured however that these groups still exist, but no evidence has been found to prove such findings.

It is said that these groups first started sprouting up around the year 3 468 AD, it was at this time that the knowledge of there being more than one type of human became wide spread.

The Anti-Human Extremist were a group composed of those Humans described in the textbooks at the time, A more scientific term would be Homo Sapien Sapien. They were the ones that everyone thought were the only humans. This group had an ideology that those that were not them should not be treated as equal, that they should serve. This is where the Old-Human side started gathering power.

The Pro-Human Extremist were a group that had the exact same mentality as the Anti-Human, but instead of the text book humans. It was the other, “newer” ones. This is where the New-Human side started gathering power.

Before the year 3 475 A.D these ideologies had next to no support, in our records it was something people scoffed at. What happened in 3 475 A.D that changed people’s point of view, we may never know. It may have been due to an elected official in a specific country and policies that favoured one side over another. It may have been some unknown mugging on the street. Either way, it was during 3 475 AD that both sides garnered massive support and grew in power, soon having their people in power over multiple countries.

It was during the Year 3 478 A.D that these two groups met in force. Their ideology being on the complete opposite end of a spectrum they could never agree on anything and so War started. That is what we can at best guess happened, as the records during the start of the war have almost been lost.

The Official end of the war concluded in the Year 3 641 A.D by the signing of the Equal Status Treaty. This treaty was signed by Major ***** leader of the Old Human Government and General Barret Harding.

The treaty took weeks to organise and many people died in the signing. There were factions on both sides that did not want the war to end, but mass majority did. Assassinations on both sides occurred, some by their own people, others by the opposing. With all this going on, it is truly an achievement for both sides to have officially end the fighting, at least on paper that is. The fighting did not end until 3 647 A.D where both sides were able to completely subjugate the renegade factions that continued, but The Year 3 641 A.D is the year that both sides came together to stop, thus that is the end of the war.[/pc][/col][/box]

Pausing after reading the supposed history of the war He thinks upon it for a bit. The beginning was something new to him, he suspected that both sides thought the opposing started it, but had never considered the idea of Pro, Anti human groups. It wasn’t something you would think about.

To have been fighting, dying for something he thought as a stupid ideology wasn’t what it felt like in memory. All he knew and majority of the people he fought with, their aim was to survive, to exterminate the threat. This idea of being better then another never entered the mines of his and their minds. But then again, most wars started from a misunderstanding, a mistake, something small and insignificant.

However, he did not completely trust it what the document stated, though it may seem perfectly logical and seemingly possible, it could have been a fabrication made by the current people running the government. He would need to see the research papers themselves to truly understand it.

The ending of the war though got him wondering.

Homo Sapien Sapien Quick Summary

Homo Sapien Sapien were once the most dominant species on the planet, they first appeared over 355 000 years. They are credited with all the greatest discoveries, creations and inventions ever made. Ranging from the creation of simple farming tools to the ability of space travel.

They died out in the year 3 952 A.D, coinciding with the ending year of the Old-Human genocide. Three species of Humans came from the Homo Sapien Sapien, The Homo Sapien Sapien Aeternus, The Homo Sapien Sapien Deviare, The Homo Sapien Sapien Mermanus.

By far this species is the weakest of the three that now reside upon the planet. They are slower, easier to unsettle, dumber and more emotionally disturbed. It is truly a wonder how they dominated the world for so long.

The only thing records indicate of them, other than their brilliance in the face of defeat was their ability to think of things no one can imagine. The inventions they have created is a clear example of this. In a way can be thought of as creators. The most recent creations were made by **** 4 before she past.[/pc][/col][/box]

They are all but biologically the same as the Homo Sapien Sapien. The only difference is that their blood cells are thicker, their lungs are slightly larger, and their heart beats stronger.

This combination of effects give them the ability to heal quickly, but not instantly, to live longer, but not forever and to think more clearly in the heat of the moment. They tend to be wiser, as they tend to see and hear more than the other two species, due to their life span. The oldest is said to have lived for 500 years, but the average life time seems to be about 300[/pc][/col][/box]

They possess two hearts and have two Blood Circulatory Systems. One flows with nothing but adrenaline and the other flows with normal blood. This gives them heightened senses. They can see easier, hear clearer, and smell further. In the think of battle, they move faster, think quicker and have tougher muscles, making them physically stronger.

Another aspect these people possess is that they feel no pain, but are able to tell when they are injured and near/or in danger (A sixth sense of a sort). This makes it different from the condition of Congenital Analgesia, as they know by instinct what is life threating, what will injure and what will not.

The down side of these people is that they have shorter lives, but they are often more fulfilled with adventure and excitement.[/pc][/col][/box]

They possess three extra organs, and one extra Circulatory System. One small heart attached to the first heart, another small stomach located near the gut and the last attached to the spine near the shoulder blade.

All three of these organs connect to the extra Circulatory System only. The Small heart pumps the liquid that flows in them, the stomach stores some substance it generates and the third we call the bine, it converts this liquid for use.

This species it the most different from the Homo Sapien Sapien, second to evolve they are not faster or stronger than them. They are no smarter, no sensitive. What differs them is their ability to control objects from afar, to generate water, earth, wind and fire.

They are more creative than any of the present three species, finding ways to improve their ability to control their abilities. But they are not creators, they pale in comparison to the inventive ways the Old species were, **** 3 is noted as having discovered ways for the Homo Sapian Sapien Mermanus to defend themselves and **** 2 to heal others.[/pc][/col][/box]

He smiles from reading the last part. Zulu 2, 3 and 4 are noted in history. They accomplished something they had wanted to do, something they all thought they wouldn’t be able to get the chance to do.

Soon stoping his smile, he states out loud “I am the last of my kind”.

He did not truly believe it, he would need to research it on his own. Find his own evidence.

“I am the last of my kind” he states again, to make him accustomed to the idea.

“I am the last of my kind” he states it again to finalize the point, to make it stick, to not be unsettled if it really were true.

“It’s been over a week” Delia responds

“Has he been eating? Resting?” Matthew asks

“No, he is up all day and night. I’ve seen him eating pills. But he doesn’t take meals. He told me that they take too much time.”

“The President and Council wants to have a word with him. They have been waiting for 3 days now.”

“I can’t drag him away. He doesn’t even see me when I walk in, nor does he hear me. Only when I touch him or make a loud noise does he respond. I’ve told him about it, he said he’ll see the President when he is done.”

“What am I meant to tell the President and Council then? They are getting impatient that The Zulu has not appeared before him already.”

“Tell them that if he wants to see Him, they should come here themselves.”

“The President and Council…here?” Matthew smiles. “I would like to see that.”
