《Money Grubbing Demon Lord》Prologue
Advertisement
Castillo Empire. The Kingdom of the Gods. The Fairy Alliance. These three forces oppose the Demons who lead monsters to attack the previously mentioned governments.
In the Kingdom of the Gods, or the Holy Kingdom, lies a small town called Rotenburg. Because of the dangerous times, the Lord of Rotenburg not only raised taxes but forced the citizens to supply food to the troops.
But that's not where the food went. It went to the slimy Lord, secretly called the Rotten Lord of Rottenburg. It was a disgrace that someone of the higher class would undermine the image of the rich and aristocratic. However, they all turned a blind eye.
They had other matters to deal with, after all.
The Kingdom was known for its harshness against the Demons. But even worse was their hatred for nonhumans. The Fairy kind appeared to be related to the Gods, so they were exempt. But the Beastkin of the Empire was not.
The Kingdom thought slaves were only natural since the Gods were to help humanity in troubled times. They had the highest amount of healing mages and war mages, so they were regarded as a force to be reckoned with.
The Alliance scoffed at them. They were not related to humanity's Gods, but they weren't going to say so out loud. The Empire was waiting for the chance to invade to usurp the throne and raise their own doctrine, taking down slavery in the process.
So no one really came to help when a Demon strode into Rotenburg with fifty Goblins and Kobolds, demanding to see the Lord.
The peasants were too weak to defend the town, but they still tried.
"Halt. Otherwise, I won't go easy on you."
His evil figure, those two curved horns on the side of his head, the pale blue, almost white, skin, that sharp and angular face…he was the poster child of Demons. His aura alone made others kneel on the ground in fear.

Nearly unopposed, the Demon entered the castle grounds.
"Halt, Demon! This will be the last day you live!"
"What if you serve me?"
"Huh?!"
Similarly, everyone's faces were confused. This was different from how they imagined Demons. They thought the Demons were likely to just cause mayhem and allow pillaging and rape. This was better, but not by much. Tempting humans to work for a Demon was something most of the Paladins of the Kingdom could stand against.
But these were normal soldiers who were selfish. They didn't want to die for a country that wouldn't send aid at a time like this.
The soldiers dropped their weapons, which were looted by the Goblins and Kobolds. Soon, a chubby pale-faced weak chinned man stumbled outside. It seemed that the soldiers inside also gave up.
Without any sort of ceremony, the Demon went forward and cut off the Lord's head.
"From now on, I am your Lord! You work for me! I only demand two things! Give me all of your money and don't bother me for no reason! If you follow these instructions, I, Demon Lord Beltos, will allow you to eat your fill and live peacefully under my guard! Now make me money!"

Take Two!
College student majoring in botany has a fateful encounter with truck-kun while trying to get back in shape after realizing that his freshman 15 turned into the sophomore 20, and then the junior 30. After going through a very amusing(to some) hell, he gets the chance to transmigrate into a body of his own design on a magical world. Playing to his strengths, he chose the Plantkin race, and the new name of Sorrel to match. This is a slow-paced, magical, slice-of-life story with a focus on relationships. There will be sex(I'll try to keep the explicit stuff to a minimum, but it will be there), swearing, really bad jokes, and enough food to spoil your diet. There will not be a lot of action, epic quests to save the world, or anything even remotely resembling a big-bad-evil-guy(a few smaller bad guys, sure. But, no BBEG). Note: This is a re-write of my first story "Congratulations, You're Dead!". And, is much more what I wish I had written in the first place. The characters and the world are very similar, with a few key differences. The story may borrow some elements from Congrats, but should be considered as its own work. Reading Congrats first is not needed, or even reccommended, not unless you want to see some really cringey romance in the early chapters.

Project Looking Glass: Freelancer
When a game can set you up for life, a man with a talent for analysis gambles his future for a new lease on life. While traveling on the colony ship Pioneer Michael Wolfe and many others are logged into Project Looking Glass, a fully immersive Virtual Reality MMORPG set on the world they are traveling to. At the end of the journey all players will be permitted to keep the land they hold in the game as their homestead for the new colony. Michael Wolfe must put away the books of myth and folklore and push himself to his limit to achieve the start to his new life. Updates will come by chapter as I write them, so don't count on a solid release schedule (though I will try for a few chapters each week). Edit advice is always welcome, but please keep it polite. ((Cover is just a working cover until I can get some decent artwork)) Be advised that I am currently focusing on Hero's Call. Project Freelancer will continue/be rewritten in parts when I have finished the story arc I intend for Hero's Call.

Law of Divine Gates
What is transcendence? There are those on countless planets who believe creation ended with them. The notion that they are God's chosen people, and nothing else existed beyond them became a firmly rooted ideal. An arrogant assertion you say? Well there you have it, ignorance is something mortals never have a lack of. This is not transcendence, to transcend is to explore the limits of existence, to constantly grow, and lay claim to all the universe has to offer. Transcendence is to not be constrained by ideals, or the planet of your birth, to transcend is to leave behind your Mortal shell, to challenge heaven's law, and formulate your own. Heaven would see mortals bowed in servitude until the end of their days, to reincarnate, and begin another lifetime of worship, giving praise to the gods. A young demon accidentally stepped through the gateway of endless possibilities, will he succumb to heaven's authority?
