“There is lots of stuff here!” I said when we entered the Miscellaneous section, I could see all kinds of things. I have never seen this variety of stuff in any one section but they are all jumbled in one place.

The other sections in shops are well organized and everything had their place but in this section, everything jumbled together. No space is left open, this section is like a very packed storeroom.

The only similarity this section has with other sections is that everything is well tagged here with the price and whatever information they have about it but one shouldn’t count on the information as there isn’t much. If they had the information about the items here then they wouldn’t be in the Miscellaneous section.

“Wow there is lots of stuff here, war does bring lots of stuff,” Sheila said as she giddily started to browse the things.

The war is the reason that the Miscellaneous Section is so jammed packed and this is just the starting, as the war longs on there more stuff will come in every section of the shop.

Seeing nothing else to do I also started to browse stuff but my intention is opposite of Sheila, I do not have hope to find any treasure, as I Isabell earlier said most of the stuff here appraised by the experts of the shops and only placed it here when they couldn't appraise its value or properties correctly.

Her meaning is very simple, most of the stuff here is absolute trash and it is very hard to get lucky, so it will be a simple waste of money to buy things from here.

Though I did not wish to buy anything that does not mean I am not interested, there are many interesting things here, if something caught my eyes and within my price range, I might as well buy it.

Three of us started to browse different parts of the section as it is big, there is some normal stuff but there is some weird stuff as well and as well as some creepy stuff as well.

The thing which makes me most happy is that I can use my soul sense here unrestrictedly without care, the rest sections of the shop it is forbidden to use the soul sense unless that the thing on which you are using your soul sense on is in your hand but here I can use my soul sense the way I want and I am totally doing that.

Here I was barely touching any stuff, most of the time I would use my soul energy check and lift the things.

The things in the section are quite plenty and many of them caught my eyes but they were all useless to me, except for being a showpiece they are nothing more.

As I was scanning the things with my soul sense, suddenly I received a reaction from one thing and when I scanned it with my soul sense again, I received the same reaction again.

Of all the stuff I had scanned with my soul sense till now, I have received no reaction from them, this is the only thing that gave me some reaction. Whenever I scanned it with my soul sense it will buzz.

I lifted that thing with my telekinesis before holding it in my hand. That thing is a mask, a mask that looked like it was made of ceramic.

Looking at its design, this mask may have been work of art in the past but now it became a husk of its former glory. From the work of art, it had become a very ugly piece as the not only design has faded to the worst but it also has cracks all over its which made it look very ugly.

I observe it with my eyes and before again scanning it with my soul sense but unlike before when I lightly scanned it, this time I used one-fourth of the power of my soul sense, I want to know just what makes it produce a reaction if it is good them I may thing about buying it.

Isabell has said that sometimes shop putting formations in stuff so they could reveal some reaction like this, so people think it as some high-level artifacts and many people got duped such methods employed by the shops.

I don't want to be one of them, so before buying, I want to be sure that I am not buying some products that had been mystified by the shop.

I used one-fourth of my soul energy on the mask but I found no hidden formation that is producing the reaction, seeing that I increased my power to the hundred 50% but I had found no reaction.

Seeing that a frown emerged from my body, my soul power is very pure and it should be able to see the formation but I saw nothing.

Taking a look around, I sneakily concentrated 100% of my soul power into the mask but this time also I had failed to find the formation. This masked priced quite high but it is not that high, it is expensive enough for maximum Viscount level formation master to tinker with it but for above formation masters, it's just not worth it.

“Isabell, can you help me find if this mask had some hidden formation?” I asked Isabell who is not far from me.

“Ok!” Isabell said and I could feel her soul power concentrated on the mask and over time her soul power became stronger and stronger till it started to make me shudder.

“This mask does not have any hidden formation,” said Isabell, which surprised me little as even if she had not found the hidden formation, she would have at least mentioned the reaction but she had mentioned nothing.

“Do you get any feeling from the mask?” I asked, “No, did you sense anything?” Isabell replied and asked, “I had sensed the first time but I did not after that.” I replied, she nodded and went back to its browsing.

Looking at the mask, I asked myself whether to buy it or not, even if it did not have mystical properties, its defense is enough to buy it but the price it's asking is little more.

The information tag said that the mast would not break even when the peak Viscount attacked with all of its strength which is quite strong but the price that shop asking is also quite high.

They are asking for two crystal coins means two thousand gold coins which are price of the Level 3 artifact, I would have not brought this item as with two crystal coins I could buy something better but that the response giving me quite a feeling, that I should buy it and I also needed a mask to wear in the battlefield, so buying this mask would be good choice.

“Are you buying it?” Isabell suddenly asked when I was just thinking about buying it, “ Yes.” I said.

“It is very expensive but it will be a lifesaver on the battlefield.” Said Isabell, I am a little surprised hearing what she said, I had thought she would dissuade me from buying this saying it is too expensive but she did the opposite.

We stayed in the Miscellaneous section for quite a while and we all brought something, even Isabell had bought some weird eyewear which looked like it was made of bones.

When Isabell brought that, Sheila couldn't stop teasing her as Isabell never bought something from their incursions.

We spent a little more than two hours in the miscellaneous section before we went to the check-in counter to pay for our stuff.

“Since you are elite from the Agustus Family and brought things above 100 crystal coins, the shop will give you a 10% discount.” Said, cashier.

She billed all of our things in sheila’s name so we could get a discount, this is normal practice and the shop does not prohibit it, at least not to the members of Prince Families of Alliance.

Despite getting a 10% discount, I had to pay 13400 gold coins, which is more than half of the money I had.

After getting out of the shops of the Xavier family, we browse the market. Most of our spent searching in the miscellaneous section and unknown things and I get to know how good haggler sheila is.

We shopped for the whole day and only returned in the evening, just ten before the briefings time.
