Infinite Ocean Ch 7

As I swiped through the artworks, I realized that I need the originals if I want to maximize profit. I want to be a trader who also do auctions. Since artworks are quite complex, my copy ability needs a day to produce a copy. So I am planning to return here tomorrow to exchange the originals with the copy.

I also asked Rain if she knew the prices of the artworks, and surprisingly she pointed out that the price was written under the piece of art. After I finished touching every art pieces in the room while getting contemptous stares from everyone in the room, Jess arrived with a smile on her face.

"Congratulations Mr.Smithson. I checked through the files and I saw nothing suspicious. With that said, we can now continue to the second and last step. You need to donate 3 million crystals to the Marines." Jess said in a nervous tone

"Hehe, don't worry little girl, we can afford it. Although I don't know how this goes but you are getting a commision out of this aren't you. Plus I have decided to give you a 50,000 gold tip since you didn't judge us like the lady earlier." Master said as he showed his Platinum Bank Card

"I ah, I can't take such a huge amount od money sir! I ah....But...Ummm." Jess said with a flustered tone

"Just take it Jess. You deserve it, if you didn't step in Mr Smith might get delayed and trouble might have befallen your department." Rain said in a friendly tone as if they are really close friends

"Do you know each other? I mean both of you are elves but it seems to be disrespectful if I assume that all elves know each other." I asked

"Is it okay if we tell you are story sir? I mean you might get involved in it if we told you." Rain asked in a serious tone in which I nodded in agreement

"Actually sir we are sister and we both came from an Island Kingdom. Our kingdom is a small nation with about 300,000 citizens which protects and lives under the graces of the world tree. We are both working here in the Marine Outpost to earn money to save our kingdom from the Orc Kingdom." Jess said as she calms down

"So why didn't you just requested the marines for help? I mean they could have at least helped right?" I asked as it seems off to know that someone who works under the Marines have their families terrorized in a war

"The Marines won't help us. Our kingdom didn't submit under the rule of the World Marine Government since the noble who went to our kingdoms were scums. Our Queen was disgusted by the lecherousness and wickedness of these nobles so our kingdom filed an agreement that our kingdom will not submit under the rules of the Marines. Which could've decimated our kingdom if not for the fact that the World Marine Governement promised that it will never decimate a kingdom unless its a kingdom of pirates. And that it will never interfere on territorial wars" Jess said in a gloomy tone

"After the World Marine Government left our Island, our neighboring Island kingdom which also didn't submit under the World Marine Government attacked us. They overwhelmed us with their numbers and strong bodies. Many elves were enslaved by the orcs and many were killed and raped, they didn't even left the children alone. We are barely fending them off and they made an agreement to our Queen. We need to pay a million gold every year or a town or city will get decimated. And right now, there are only about 3 towns and a city which was a huge contrast to the situation before the war. The Orcs raided many small towns and some cities and destroyed everything." Rain said as she clenched her fist until it dug up into her palm

"So basically, they are horny savages which kills and pillage who deserve to die." I said in cold tone filled with great anger which sent chills to the whole room. The only thing that I can't stand is that innocents were killed just for the pleasure and fun of others.

"Calm dow Sam, I know that you are angry. However, we must achieve our goal here before aiding these poor girls." Master said calmly

"Ok, then I am dragged into this now. I will help you but I want a something in exchange." I said as I calm my nerves down

"What is your condition then. By the way my name is Rain Greenleaf, the first Princess of the GreenLeaf kingdom." Rain asked in a business like tone

"I want to be able to buy anything in your kingdom. I know it might sound weird but I want to be able to get resources from your kingdom of course with a price. Plus two special request which I haven't thought of as of now." I said confidently as I look at them

Rain then took a parchment and written an agreement with my terms and signed it. It was stated that if the contract was broken, the World Tree will decimate the offending party.

"Okay then, lets get back to the NBC. Can you now take me to where I can do my payment" I said as I sign my name on the parchment. Which was then covered with a magic circle by Rain.

The process of claiming the NBC was smooth until finish that we were able to get the Certificate before lunch. We met Brock for lunch and we have a talk about blades and sorts before he pulled me and master towards the inside of Marine outpost.

"Umm, Brock, where are heading to?" I asked as we passed several tighly guarded door on our way.

"I am taking you to the Treasury of course. I know that you have the ability of the 《Copy Copy Fruit》. I want you to make me a copy of a certain treasure. Of course I will have a good trade for you. I am willing to let you have the copy of all things in the treasury. I don't know how your ability works but I am willing to gamble on you." Brock whisphered to me

"Okay, I admit that I have the 《Copy Copy Fruit》but how did you know?" I asked simce I believe that I acted well during my explanation. "I am also willing to accept your deal, but I need to know what you want and I need to come into the treasury two times excluding this time. Only when I was left alone in the Treasury the second time would I give you what you want after I left the room. And keep in mind that I might be able to produce your copy after an indefinite amount of time." I continued before brock can speak

"Great then. I want you to copy the great sword named Tyrfying. It is a legendary great sword which has the power to manipulate its weight. It is crafted with pure Sea Stone by an unknown blacksmith" Brock said with a gready smile."Although your conditions need me to leave the treasury. I will know if you stole something. Its regularly checked by the Marine Personels and all its contents are recorded. And the reason why I know that you have it is because I decimated the remains if the CopyCat Pirates and knew that the fruit was stolen." Brock warned and told me the reason of how he knew that I have the Devil Ftuit as we arrived infront of a huge Vault

There are many guards infront of the vault with high ranks. They are all heavily armed with great vigilance. They saluted to Brock before opening a huge vault door.

We go inside the vault door, only to see a long passage that lead to another door. Brock opened it and I saw a normal sized room with very thick metal walls.
