《Dungeon Code》History and order of reading

Hello All (Audience and Characters alike),
This is where I explain what has happened.
My first attempt at writing this story is actually at the back now, with all its poor formatting, and all the rest of the evidinces of first attempts at things better than failure.
The more recent crack at printing the source code of a dungeon has been labeled as R1 - at the start of the chapter name. This stands for "Rewrite 1".
During the course of writing, I found from the comments that wish fulfilment does not make for an attractive narrative. I also found it to be unsatisfying when all conflict is easily resolved, unreflective of any form of reality that I am aware of. Along with a few other personal reasons of a spiritual nature, I believed it best to abandon that particular effort as a severely flawed basic premise rendered it unsalvageable.
I am sincerely grateful to @Alice from the group Inked on RRL's Discord server for providing the cover art for this story, and a few other bits and pieces of concept art as well.
On occasion, I think, "What about that story I was / still am writing on RRL? When am I going to work on that?" This has happened more than once or twice, when I have found my life full to the eyeballs of things that need doing. I am an electrician, and between looking for jobs, doing work for someone, and helping friends and family, life very quickly finds itself fully occupied. This is especially so when I realize I would much rather spend my time in the mind numingly boring fashion of gaming... or the slightly more exciting worlds that render themselves in my imagination with RRL's contents as source code.
Hence, I promise that I will at least try to spend some time writing during each week. I cannot speak for the events of real life being conducive to this effort.
Yours faithfully,
The Author

New Escape
In a world not that unlike the present exists a fantastic technology to transfer one's consciousness into a game. A new frontier for video games has been opened, and my first experience in this world is an rpg. An escape from monotony and school has led me to experience a brand new world.(I originally lost my motivation for this story and kinda wanted to kill it, but I brought it into this world so I will fix it. I'll probably re-write the first chapters and include a more compelling story. Didn't really write the story for people to read in the first place and after I put it on here I stopped caring, but I am changed!(not too much but just a little))

Fayre
Melissa Crawford thinks she's just a regular teenage girl. She goes to school. She has friends, boy problems, homework...you know, the typical teenage angst. But she couldn't be more wrong, for Melissa Crawford is not a mortal. Her adoptive mortal mother refused to give her up and hired a witch to erase the enchanting Faery child's memory, not realizing that things aren't that simple. You see, when she was a little girl, Melissa promised herself forever to her Leannan Sidhe (mate), a Fae Prince, and a promise to Fae is sacred. When the Fae Prince comes back to claim what's his, nothing will get in his way."Mortals are so arrogant. So utterly narcissistic to think that they are the only intelligence in this world, to believe their realm is the only realm, their way is the only way. "Many of you believe us fairies only exist in little kids' fairy tales. We are so much more than that. We exist, living in the Realm just a blink away from yours. A few wrong turns in the park or the forest and you're there. We sometimes walk among you, and you're not even aware of it. Believe me, we exist. Across the globe, your kind calls us and our realm by different names...but as William Shakespeare once said- a rose by any other name..."
