I was sleeping when Eddie did this "rise and shine sleeping beauty" Eddie said. "Seriously Daniella," said Eddie. "Turn on the music in the room," I said. "Okay princess," Eddie said. I went to shower and changed into this. I combed my hair and headed downstairs to eat breakfast. After eating I headed down to the lab to see dad.

In the lab

I came into the lab and saw my dad with Chase. I also saw Dominic and Edward which was weird at first but then my dad came down and he shared a hug with Edward what is going on I thought. I saw Leo which was a plus to my weird day. I saw Leo who was fascinated by the things around him. I was helping Chase, dad, Edward and Dominic with something.

"As much as much as I love to have the Thompsons around what is going on dad," I said as I glared at my dad. "Well...." dad said. "What did you do," I said "ok fine remember when you were younger and you use to help me with my annual project where we would create a pitch and sell our idea together well I sorta lied to both you and Chase Daniella. I actually alternate between the two of you only Chase knows about the Thompsons so I am so sorry if I lied to you Daniella" dad said. "How could use us like that. How how could you use both me and Chase dad you are sick" I said angrily. "Hey I am upset too but at least we can work with Davenport Industries," Chase said. "Fine I will help," I said. I saw Leo looking mesmerized by my dad's intentions. “Ohhh,” I heard Leo exclaim in surprise and mesmerization. “Ah. Ho ho. What’s this?” ”I’m pretty sure that says ‘do not touch,’ Leo,” I said not taking my eyes off what I was helping Chase hold. “Haha. Very funny. Seriously what is it?”Leo said. Before I could answer, dad, rushed to stop Leo from doing any more damage to his stuff.”Woah, hey! That’s part of my do not touch collection,” dad said as he takes the device away from Leo and sets it down again. “Daniella’s right, I should put a do not touch sign on it.”When am I, wrong dad?” I said cockily. Dad sighed. “Oh sweet pen,” Leo says admiring a pen-looking thing, that is probably not a pen. “It’s not a pen. It’s a highly pressured air canister that can inflate a blimp in 8.6 seconds.” dad said” This little thing?” Leo said” Mmm-mmm, anyways I don’t want you touching any more of my stuff, Daniella, do me a favour and go play Jenga with Leo.” dad said. "But I am supposed to help you and Chase out," I said. ”What? No! Why do I have to get stuck with the sucky job?” I protested and Leo gasps hurt. “He’ll probably topple the tower over on the first try!” I complained again, and this time Leo just looked annoyed. “I need a good opponent, like Chase or Dominic since they overanalyze everything.”You always win anyway! You always use your mind control!” Chase and Dominic protested. “Well, it isn’t fun if I lose,” I said. "I blame you, Dad," I said. “Anyway, it’s impossible that this little thing can do all that,” Leo says still looking at the pen-looking thing. Then there’s a wind howling and I grab onto the table so I don’t fly off into the ceiling or my capsule. “Hurry up and turn it off!” I yell not knowing how much longer I can hold on. “We’re trying!” Chase yells back at me. "Just hold on," Dominic said whilst Edward was trying to get the pen. Finally, it gets turned off and I let go of the table and fall to the floor, making Chase go down with me. I rush to the guys and Chase, Dominic and I look sternly at Leo. “You might want to put a warning sign on that, and maybe next time I’ll actually play Jenga with Daniella,” Leo said.

“So what’re you having? Garage sale for geeks? This does not include you, Daniella, you are not a geek, I was just talking to Big D and Chase,” Leo said.

Daniella pov

“I know you never mean to call me a nerd or geek, it’s just funny to see you embarrass yourself,” I laugh softly. Dad laughs. “We’re not having a garage sale. We are preparing for...”Here it goes. “... the call” dad said in a mysterious voice. ‘Second-hand embarrassment,’ I say to Leo through my mind. ‘Tell me about it,’ Leo responds. ”Once a year, Daniella, Chase, Dominic, Edward and I present the newest inventions to all the international buyers. In other words...” “Ka-ching!” dad said. We all exclaimed. They did their handshake while I put on disco music and spun in a chair. They blubbered at the end and Leo wanted to get in on it.

Leo pov

“What are you doing?” I said ”Making himself look ridiculous. It’s kinda obvious,” I said getting up to stand with Dominic. “I wanna be in on... the call,” I said trying not to be mysterious but miserably failing. “Yeah, sorry, Leo, there’s no more room. I’m already the product specialist, the set designer, chief demonstrator, and insanely happy spokesmodel,” Chase and Edward became super happy to demonstrate. “And what are Daniella and Dominic?” I asked looking at Daniella and Dominic. “Oh! I’m the host and I’m co-host product designer. Ladies and gentlemen we would like to “ Dominic host mode gets cut off by me. "And I am a designer, basically the head of the entire project that is before Chase, Dominic and Edward," Daniella said. “I’ve seen all I need to see,” I said.

“Although, there might be a role for Leo,” I said. “As long as someone follows him around everywhere he goes with a fire extinguisher,”I looked at Chase, Daniella, Edward and Dominic. “But, Mr. Davenport, Daniella, Dominic and I are way better at selling stuff than Leo, and I’m better than Daniella and Dominic,” Chase says nervously. Leo, Daniella and Dominic looked at Chase.

Leo pov

“Please I could sell nunchucks to a nun named Chuck,” I said. “I can sell anything, you remember last year where the buyers only bought the item because they liked their host, or in other words me,” Daniella said overly annoyed at Chase and Dominic. “I could sale this thing without even knowing what it is,” I said. “I highly doubt that,” Dominic replied. I looked at big D little disappointed and way too annoyed which made me chuckle. I grab something dangerous that I forgot the name of. “Leo, no, that’s an electro field destabilizer, whatever you do, don’t let it-“ big D didn’t finish.

Leo let it and it sent him all the way to the door. I laughed and Chase did too. “...touch metal” dad finished. “Daniella, we have to admit, a small part of us was hoping that would happen,” Chase said. “A small part? Bro, my whole body was hoping that would happen,” I started laughing with Chase again.”Well, can some big parts of both of you come over and help me up?” Leo asks. “You’re on your own,” I said patting Dominic's shoulder.

I left the lab and went to the living room and I saw Tasha was on the phone talking with her mother. “Yes, mom. Leo and I love our new home. Oh, you should come and visit,” she says with a loss of enthusiasm at the end Tasha said.

Leo pov

Adam who was doing push-ups for Leo on the floor was going up high. “467, 468-“ Leo counted. “Put some muscle in it,” I demanded. “469.” ”Shh! I’m picking up radio-free Singapore,” dad said turning to face Adam and Leo. He starts singing in a foreign language.

Daniella pov

“Oh my god...” I muttered under my breath, totally getting secondhand embarrassment. How many times do I have to tell him he doesn’t sing well?“That’s gonna be a hit. You mark my words,” dad told everyone, although it was probably directed to me since I’m the one always telling him he sucks at singing. "Dad please stop," I said. “In your dreams, maybe,” I say and Dominic chuckled.

Tasha pov

“But not today,” I resume talking on the phone with her mom. “Why?”Because the house is dirty!” Daniella whisper yells at me giving me an idea of what excuse I could make up someone who didn’t visit. “Because Donald’s working and he has tons of, meetings,” I said.

Daniella pov

I facepalmed. She’s still gonna come, I honestly don’t think anyone cares if dad got sick. Dad faced Tasha. “Look, I gotta go, he just threw up in my purse. Love you, bye!” "Seriously dad," I said. “You know, we’re gonna have to have your mother over eventually,” dad says standing up weirdly. “She is your family after all,” Dominic speaks up.

Tasha pov

“No, we don’t have to have family over,” I said. “Look, my mom doesn’t just visit. She has inspections. If she spots anything weird, she will use it as an excuse to move in.”

Daniella pov

I started moving objects around the house and Bree super-speed to catch a ball. “Nothing weird here,” we say in unison. “Honey, when your mother visits, I will shower her with love, I will make her feel welcome, and I will do everything humanly possible to “ “Hide from her?” I asked cutting him off. Then there’s the ring of the doorbell and Tasha gasps scared. “It’s my mother!”The face-cam shows a lady who looks very young to look like Tasha’s mother. “I’ll be in the lab.”Called it...” I muttered. “It was pretty obvious,” Dominic called after me. “Quick turn invisible!” Tasha yelled. We all stared at her, not really knowing what to do since none of us had that bionic ability, I mean it would be really useful on some occasions, but sadly none of us had it. ‘Ummm... so what are we supposed to do?’ I Chase through my thoughts. ‘I don’t know! We can’t turn invisible!’ Chase said panicked in thoughts but with a straight face on the outside. “Oh, come on, you have every other freaky ability!” Tasha says frustrated.

“Correction, cool abilities,” I replied correcting Tasha. Tasha looks at me with the death glare while I just smile innocently.”Just run and hide.” Tasha said. "Daniella, Edward and Dominic you all sit," Tasha said. “Ow!” I exclaim in pain as Daniella kicked me in the ankle. “Oh good, it’s unlocked.” a woman said. “Would have been here sooner if it hadn’t been for your stupid gate,” I said kind of rudely if you ask me. “Oh, that’s just Donald’s titanium security fence,” Tasha said. “Well, if you ram it with your car hard enough, it pops right open,” I said smiling.

Daniella pov

Wait what?! She rammed the fence with her car?! I’m starting to question why this woman is so crazy. ‘She’s insane,” Dominic tells me in my head. ‘Well yeah! You don’t just ram someone’s fence!’ I say petrified of Tasha’s mother.

“Leo! There’s my baby. Come and give me some sugar. Oooh! Grandma’s so glad to see you! Let me see your face. Let me see that face.” I said.

I snickered a laugh at how Leo was getting all embarrassed.

Rose pov

“Let me see your face. Let me see your face.” I was just squeezing Leo’s face. Then I slap his cheek. “So cute! Grandma bought your favourite bran fruitcake.” I said. “Oh wow!” Leo exclaims at how heavy the fruitcake is, almost dropping it. “Grandma, you shouldn’t have.”Oh, baby.” I said. "And who is this," I said looking at the girl with black hair. "Oh her" Tasha said. "She is Donald’s kid," Tasha said.

I just feel bad for Leo by now, poor kid is just getting embarrassed by his grandma.

“And when I say shouldn’t have-“ “Leo...” I said giving him a look.

We all try to sneak around to go to the lab but we get spotted by Tasha’s mother. “Who are they?” Rose said. We stand up in surprise. “They are the... staff!” Tasha says saving our butts.

Daniella pov

We walked over to them, I go looking and walking as professionally as I can. “Big house,” Tasha remarks. And technically, she’s not wrong. “Staff? Oh, Tasha. Still so lazy.” Rose said. "Umm... Tasha is a great person dad just likes to have staff around the house" I said. She’s gotta chill like that’s your daughter you’re talking about, and not only that but you are literally beside her, if you’re going to trash talk about someone at least be discreet about it, not saying that you should trash talk about someone. I thought “And you are still so- my mother.” Tasha said. Tasha’s mother chuckles. “So what do you do?” She asks us.

Tasha pov

Adam looks at us nervously, not really knowing what to say. “Well, I collect rocks, I lift heavy things, I chase bugs.” Adam is our chef,” says Tasha, which I don’t really see fitting in with his abilities. “Oh. Right. Chef. You know normally I wear a puffy hat and yell things in Italian. Bonjour!” Adam said.

Daniella pov

Nope. Not it. That’s yelling things in French, Adam, not Italian, but there’s really no point in telling him what is what. Tasha laughs nervously at Adam’s response. And then we all laugh.

Tasha pov

“What a wonderful sense of humour,” I said. Then I glare at them for messing up. “And who is she?” She points at Bree nastily. “Bree is my personal trainer,” I said.

Daniella pov

That actually makes sense, I can totally see her being a personal trainer.

Rose pov

“Oh, what exactly does a personal trainer do?”I asked,” It’s personal?” Bree responds in question.

Tasha pov

“Chase is Leo’s nanny. Man-nanny. Manny.” I said in a fake smile.

Chase pov

“Aren’t you a little young to be a manny?” She asks me. “Aren’t you too young to be a grandma?” I ask complimenting back.

Dominic pov

“I thought you were twenty-one when you came through that door,” I say really smiling this time.

“Oh, I like him,” Rose said which makes me happy, as l smiled.

“Ah, Dominic! He’s Leo’s coach, encouraging him to exercise, we met him through Daniella, because he’s Daniella's boyfriend.” "Daniella is dating a staff member," I said looking at her as she blushed.

I don’t like to be put in the spot like that, and we all looked at Tasha surprised my face turning red from blushing and embarrassment. "Well I have to go I will be back," Daniella said. "Dominic could you come with me," Daniella said.

Chase rushed to the lab with me falling behind still hiding the redness from my face, thanks for that Tasha, now I can’t stop blushing.“Guys, so, here are your fully collated, colour-coded presentation packets. I had them laminated so you can practice in the shower,” Chase says and I give him a look, and he hands them out, even though I already knew what I was going to say since I had to say the same thing for thirteen years. Dad and Leo also gave Chase a look.

Leo pov

“Uh-huh. You know, I say we just wing it,” I said opposing the idea of a script, while I threw my packet on a nearby table.

Dominic pov

“Leo’s right. We shouldn’t overthink it. ”Yeah.” Daniella said. "I mean dad you lied so you owe me," Daniella said I gulped nervously.

Chase pov

”But, guys, I wrote an entire script filled with our spontaneous, yet witty banter,” I said hurt that my idea was getting shut down.

Dominic pov

I wasn’t going to say anything to Chase, I didn’t want to hurt him more than he already was.”And we would all love to hear that someday, but now, Big D., Daniella, Dominic, Edward, and Leo are gelling on the sell it,” Leo says pointing at Mr. Davenport, Daniella, my dad and I. We all proceeded to do the handshake and blubber. “No! No! No handshakes!”

“No, if Chase isn’t going to be part of this I’m not either,” I say walking up to Chase and standing beside him. And he gives me a small smile.

Edward pov

“Leo’s great and all,” I walked up to Davenport and Leo with me behind him, “but we five are the quintet. What if something happened? He could get electrocuted. Again.” I said. “Or burned alive,” I chime in helping Chase.”Exactly.” Daniella said in agreement. ”Yeah, but we could use the help. I mean, this year I am unveiling my Coup D’etat.” Donald said. Leo looks at Davenport surprised and walks over to Chase and covers his ears. “With children in the room?” We both roll our eyes at Leo’s childish attitude.

”No, I am talking about a level of technology so amazing that I have to unveil its game show style!” I exclaimed presenting a robot to the rest "and also with Edward, Dominic, Daniella and Chase helping me out well Daniella in secret but yeah" I said. “It’s my exoskeleton. And Leo, you have been doing such a great job helping, you’re gonna be in it when we make... ‘the call.’”

Chase, Dominic and I glance at each other and both of our mouths drop in disappointment, everything was going to be different and wrong and we could all feel it. And Leo laughs while running to it. “What? No! You said that I was gonna present the exoskeleton.” Dominic said. ”And that I was going to be your host!” Chase said. "And I was supposed to be your partner with Mr.Thompson here," I said pointing to Dominic's father. ”Chase, Dani, Dominic, you three have been doing this for years. It’s not gonna kill you to let Leo demo one thing. Besides, there will be plenty of other little things for the three of you to do.” dad said. "besides Dani, you are still presenting with me and Edward" dad said. ”Yeah, like stand and point, Vanna,” Leo demonstrates while I want to rip his head off. “Fine, you know what? Leo should demo the Exo,” Chase says planning a horrible thing.

I go up the elevator to the living room, annoyed I can’t use my speed, but in the end, I manage to meet up with Dominic again who beat me by taking the stairs. I sit beside him and talk with him not really paying attention to anything else. Until, Leo’s grandmother walks up to Adam asking, “so, what is the master chef preparing anyway?” Uh...” “He’s making-“

”Spaghetti! I heard it’s really nutritional for the body, as Leo’s coach I keep track of that,” Dominic said taking a wild guess. Daniella got up and stood by Tasha. "Tasha how long do we keep up with this lie," Daniella said and I could hear even if she whispered due to my bionic hearing.

Tasha pov

“Yes! It’s really easy!” I said looking at the recipe book and handing the recipe to Adam. “I love how you always follow the directions exactly as written.” Bree stands up and takes Tasha’s mother out of the way. “Hey, why don’t we do some exercises? Dominic, wanna help?” Bree asks. Dominic nods going over to them. “It’ll help loosen up your creaky bones,” Bree says tensely. “It’s really relaxing,” Dean says looking at me as I laugh. Tasha’s mother gives Bree a look. “And by creaky, I mean time-tested and full of exercise!” She says in a fake excited tone bumping into mom. Mom starts doing exercises almost looking at Adam use his bionics, and Dominic and Bree push her down. “Yeah! I’m cooking!” Adam exclaims. And then looks around nervously. “Which I always do.”Okay,” Bree says and mom moans and Dominic helps her up. “Oh, thank you.”Um, let’s move on to a simple little exercise that can strengthen your core while crushing a man’s windpipe.” Oooh,” this gets mom's attention. I laughed nervously. “They already kicked her out of the book club for using that one,” Dominic said. ”And the yoga club for strengthening your leg muscles while breaking someone’s pancreas,” Daniella said making something up that is somewhat believable. “Anything else?” I asked.

“Pick up the hat works fine,” I said manipulating Bree’s mind so I can read what she’s thinking. “Perfect! Yeah, you reach down like you’re gonna pick up a hat, and then you kick the air behind you.”Bree said.

”Oh! Oh! Oh!” Tasha’s mother exclaims almost falling while both I and Bree helps her up, Bree super-speeding to the other side while I use my telekinesis to help her. “How’d you get behind me so fast? And how did you lift me all of a sudden?” Rose said. ”Uh, how did you get in front of me so fast, you speedy little grandma, you?” Bree said nervously. ”And how did you get so light all of a sudden, all this exercise is paying off!” both Bree and I laugh at the sentences nervously.

“I’m going downstairs,” I said. "Wait," Rose said. "Yes grandma," I said becoming nervous as Dominic walked over to me. "Where is your knucklehead of a father is," Rose asked me. "Uh..... he is just downstairs finishing up some work but please don't disturb him he gets really angry when you do also he is in a meeting with another company so do not come down," I said finishing up as Dominic takes my hand into his it felt warm. “Wait for me!” Dominic says running behind me, once I get to the elevator I teleport.

Dominic and I were sitting in the lab listening to Leo, both I and Dominic had already done my part and I think it went well because I did nothing, dad and Thompson didn't let me talk as much even though I am a presenter. “The Davenport Industry’s Tabletop Particle Collider. I have absolutely no idea how it works. But it sure looks pretty,” Leo presented to the people at the web conference, and to my surprise, they really seemed to like Leo. Chase laughs. “Isn’t he cute? Kids. Okay,” Chase says. “Up next we have something even more exciting. It’s thrilling, yet mysterious. Exotic, but useful. I have no idea how any household has survived without the-“ Chase says going to grab the thing he was supposed to present, but Leo had got to it first. “Leo.”Go ahead, you’re doing great,” Leo says presenting the object. “You stole my thunder,” Chase said. Here we go, another fight. “He stole my thunder,” Leo said. We all look at the two boys annoyed and confused. “Who needs thunder when you’ve got lightning? Zap.”Chase said. Dad and Thompson saw them fighting on screen and pulled them away. “Guys, uh, now might be a good time to unveil my coup d’etat.”I thought you were gonna say they were being really immature, but yeah that also works,” I say rolling my eyes. "Not now kid," Edward said. "Seriously kid huh," I said. “Yeah, Leo why don’t you go do your demo?” Chase asks with a smug face. “One coup de Leo right coming up,” Edward said looking at Leo.

“You know ladies and gentlemen, I think it’s about time for the moment we’ve all been waiting for,” Davenport says powering, what I assume is the exo-skeleton up.”I know it’s the moment I’ve been waiting for.” Dominic said. There are really heavy footsteps coming from Leo in the exoskeleton. “Exoskeleton in the house!” Leo says taking off the mask. “That’s right, the power of ten men in a one size fits all suit. Leo, please demonstrate by lifting this table. Now ladies and gentlemen, see how elegantly he-“ I said being cut off. Leo starts moaning and the exoskeleton starts going crazy, causing Leo to smash the table and break it. “Smashes my table of priceless inventions.” Chase, me and Davenport run away from Leo. “Gee, if only Daniella, chase and I had warned you that letting Leo help us was a bad idea,” Dominic said. “Leo, stop!” Donald said. “I can’t, I’m not doing anything! This thing is out of control!” Leo said. ”Whoa!” Daniella said. ”Oh no!” I said.

I stand up trying to help Leo stop but the exoskeleton sends me flying to the other side of the room. Chase, Dominic and I groan in pain, with a hit of the head from the wall. “My bad! You ok Daniella? Chase asked And you didn’t need that right dad?” I asked. Leo starts destroying more stuff. “Oh! Was that expensive?” Leo said. Dad rushes to the webcam. “Live webcams. You know, anything can and will happen, it’s just extraordinary. You know what? We’ll call you back.” dad said. Leo destroys the webcam, Chase runs toward me to see if I was ok but I wasn't and I closed my eyes but I knew they all know I wasn't good.

Chase’s POV

We put Daniella in her capsule seeing the state she was in after she got hit by Leo. And Leo starts yelling. “Okay, this is the scariest and most awesome thing that has ever happened to me.” Awesome?! You literally knocked out Daniella! I exclaim mad at Leo because nothing would have ever happened if he had let me do my thing, and plus Mr. Davenport is going to kill me I said. “She’ll be fine,” Edward said walking up to the controls and pressing some buttons and checking statistics. Mr. Davenport hid behind Dominic and me. “Are you using us as a shield?” I ask.”You two are bionic!” Mr.Davenport said. "Well we are human and I do not think my father would be happy with what you are doing," Dominic said. Then Dominic and I push him in front of us, and we all yelp. We got down and duck behind the table. “I don’t get it, I must have tested it, like 120 times. I don’t know what could’ve happened,” Davenport says concerned and confused. “I’m not sure either, I was upstairs doing exercises with Tasha’s mother and Bree,” Dominic said looking around the destroyed lab. "Young man what were you doing" asked Edward looking all scary. "Uh... exercising with grandma Rose and Tasha," Dominic said. “Something must have gone haywire with the power source when I reversed the controls,” I say not thinking much about what I was saying. “I guess?” I try to cover it up but it’s too late. “I’m sorry. I-I didn’t mean for it to Berserk, and to hit Daniella. I just wanted to mess with Leo.”Davenport sighs furiously and Dominic groans annoyed. "Chase you almost killed Daniella she is my first daughter from my first wife how could you" Mr. Davenport yelled at me. Leo throws something across the table and we all gasp. “Well, next time could you just give him a wedgie like everybody else? Or make fun of him like Daniella? Davenport asks me. I hide behind Mr. Davenport and he pushes me forward, and this happens for a while. Dominic goes to Daniella’s capsule and takes her upstairs to her room. “Big D., I hope this doesn’t hurt our friendship, but I think I’m about to crush you,” Leo said. Leo grabs Davenport and holds him up in the air, ready to hit him. “Not the face! Not the face!” Davenport said. Leo lets go of Davenport and the exoskeleton dies. “I think it drained its battery!” “Oh. Still unnecessarily handsome,” Davenport said touching his face. “Leo, get out of that thing!”I know this isn’t exactly what you were going for Big D., but, man, are we gonna sell a ton of these!” “Chase, how could you do this?” Mr.Davenport said. ”Come on, with my mechanically inclined intelligence, how could I not do it?” I ask. “Well, you ruined something, all right. It’s not even fun to say anymore.” Mr.D said. ”What on earth is going on here?” Tasha comes and asks. “The exoskeleton went Berserk and almost crushed me, Dominic and almost killed Daniella,” I said.

Tasha pov

”My mother is upstairs. And because of every single one of you, wondering why Daniella has a big bruise on her forehead that came out of nowhere.”Yeah, okay. You win.” Donald said. “She’s also been asking where you guys are and I’m running out of excuses. I need everyone upstairs acting like a normal family now!” I demand angrily. “You know what, we should probably do what she says. She’s more prone to violence than the exoskeleton.”Edward said.

Chase pov

Mr. Davenport and Mr. Thompson start walking away until they stop and face me. “And Chase I am very disappointed in you. I don’t want you on the next call.” Mr. Davenport said. "You almost killed my own son I am very upset with you Chase," Mr. Thompson said. Leo turns to me and says, “I wasn’t trying to bump you out. I was trying to show you up. You know add a little sizzle to your steak.”Well, congratulations, Leo. You won. You got the sizzle, you got the steak, you got the whole stinking cow!” I say madly as I walk away. “Hey, you are my manny. You’re supposed to be awake and nice to me!” Leo said

Daniella pov

I was awake and helping Leo out with some homework while Bree was doing sit-ups and Dominic was doing push-ups. Edward walked in and sat in the chair opposite Rose. "Who is this" Rose asked. "Rose this is Edward Thompson my father's friend and business partner," I said as Edward looked at me smiling. “Donald!” Rose said. ”Rose!” dad said. “About time! I was beginning to think you were avoiding me,” Rose said annoyed. That’s probably caused he was trying to avoid you, grandma Rose I thought to myself. "Question why is my son doing push-ups," Edward asked me. "Long story sir just know it was all mom's I mean Tasha's idea," I said. “I was- uh, in a meeting and also finding up some work,” Davenport said as an excuse. Nice save, dad. “I mean, I was working and in a meeting with uh... Edward here. I was very busy. And I had a very important phone call. Uh, it wasn’t nearly as important as you.” dad said. Rose chuckles. “Nice save.” That’s exactly what I was thinking. “Thank you. I thought so.” I had moved on to math with Leo, Bree had moved on to jumping jacks, Adam was still cooking and Dominic moved on to doing karate moves.

Tasha pov

“Honey, what are Bree, Adam, Daniella and Dominic doing?” Donald asks and I wave at them. “You mean our trainer, chef, daughter helping Leo out with homework, and coach?” I said. “That explains what they’re doing,” Davenport says realizing what was happening. I look over at Adam to see what was happening, cause something was burning, and I wasn’t wrong. There was a piece of maybe meatball burning. “Uh, just a couple more minutes!” Adam said. “Till what? You melt the pot?” Leo asks concerned. “Or burns the house,” I say totally horrified while Daniella looked up from the math textbook. Adam gives us a bummed-out face. “You know what? Let’s just all sit down and have a nice dinner together,” I said keeping order.

Daniella pov

I got up and put the dinnerware on the table. “Almost done with the table!” I say nicely pushing the chairs in. “We can sit down with a nice table done and ready, but having a nice dinner just ain’t gonna happen,” I said."Why is Daniella setting the table," dad asked Tasha. "Because she wants to," Tasha said annoyed at her husband. Chase joined me by helping set up the table.

Rose pov

“Hey, you’re Leo’s manny and you’re letting him near a hot stove, and unlike the others, you don’t have another job around the house,” I asked and said sassily. Chase ran to the kitchen to stop Leo from getting too near the stove. “Watch it, Leo. You wanna get sent to bed without any supper?” Chase asked super annoyed but leading him away from the kitchen. “I would,” I muttered knowing what supper was. Leo said. Leo looked at the stove and back at Chase. “Yes,” he said scared.

Daniella pov

We all sat down and Adam started serving the burned pasta to Rose, and oh god did it look disgusting and dry.

“What the-, “ Dominic said looking disgusted while his father looked at dad” Pa-sghetti?” Adam asks. “I’ll pass,” Dominic and I say in unison. "Same here," Edward said. “What in the name of great Caesar’s ghost is going on around here?” Rose asks worried, confused, and possibly terrified. “Trust me, there is nothing unusual going on here,” Tasha says keeping her cool and trying to stop Rose from figuring out everything. “Everything is completely normal.”Chef is just having a bad day,” I say still looking at the burned spaghetti. As soon as Tasha and I both say this, something breaks through the wall, whirring and beeping. I turned around and I spot the exoskeleton, terrified, I almost fall off my chair, but Adam catches me. “That was horrible timing,” Edward said. The exoskeleton topples the table over. We all stand up terrified, Adam still hanging onto me from behind making sure I didn’t fall over. “What is that?” Rose asks. “That is another member of our staff. Go away, James. We don’t need you right now!” Leo said. “We really don’t James! You can go home!” I say holding tightly to Dominic’s arms since he was hugging me from behind.”Boy, I’m old, not senile. And that’s no butler. I’m out,” Rose says as she goes and runs to hide behind the couch. We all run behind her. The Exo starts destroying more and more stuff. “Adam, Dominic, don’t just sit there! Go take that thing down!” Bree exclaims looking at the two guys. Dominic and Adam stand up just to pulled down by Tasha. “No! You do that, and someone will know that someone has certain abilities!”Yeah, Tasha very subtle, definitely not suspicious at all.

Daniella pov

We all gasp, scream and duck at the exoskeleton throwing something that I really didn’t see. “Oh, well, great. Now dinner’s ruined,” Adam says madly at the exoskeleton throwing something at Adam’s food. “No one was going to eat it anyway!” I say at Adam. He gives me an annoyed look and hurt gasp. “Donald! You’re the man of the house, do something!” Rose exclaims to dad. "Are you sure you want my dad to take that Exo out?" I said looking at Rose. “I doubt he’s going to do something useful,” I say looking at Rose, she gives the ‘me too’ look.

Donald pov

“Right, don’t worry. I’ll take care of this, I said getting up and walking over to the exoskeleton, and the exoskeleton shoots a laser and I gasp scared and hides again. “Well great, thanks,” Edward says bitterly. "Isn't this great I am going to die now" Edward said. “My hero,” Rose says bitterly as well.

Daniella pov

I quickly run to Leo and Chase who were hiding behind what I suppose are fake plants.”Wait, I have an idea,” Leo said going near the exoskeleton. “Leo! Be careful!” I yell out. The exoskeleton almost blasts Leo by a close inch. Leo yells. “Now, do you see? Your little gizmo’s putting us all in danger,” Rose points out, which isn’t wrong. “That robot’s about to kill us.”It did hit Daniella in the head,” Adam says. “Wait what?!” Rose exclaims ducking again. “Now, see back when I was a kid, back in the day-“Yeah, that’s a fascinating story, Rose. Do you mind if we hear about it later? “ Davenport says not wanting to hear another word from Rose.

Rose pov

“Oh!” Rose exclaims and ducks again. Mr. Davenport throws a throw pillow at the exoskeleton. “Really?” Edward asks from afar. “It’s destroying our house and your tossing pillows at it,” Tasha says furiously. “Well, they’re called throw pillows,” Davenport keeps throwing every single one. “That’s not how they work,” Dominic says trying to not explode. "Seriously now we are all yelling at each other" Edward said looking pissed at everyone. Leo comes back. “It’s time for this Exo to meet its match.”

Daniella pov

”If I got hit in the head by it, what do you think it’s gonna do to you?” I exclaim surprised and worried about what Leo was about to do. “The electro field stabilizer,” Chase says. “Ohh,” I say in realization as to what it was. “Great idea, Leo,” I said. “Thanks,” Leo said. Leo comes to Chase and me in hesitation. “Here. You two should do it. Sorry for stealing your sizzle and for hitting you in the head.”No, I’m the one who should be sorry. I just have to get used to the idea of having another brother around,” Chase says apologetically. “Oh! You both should be sorry, the darn thing almost killed me, and you Chase! This is partially both of your faults,” I say taking the stabilizer. The two boys look at me annoyed with the ‘really’ face.”Guys, I’m with Daniella here, I’m really enjoying the heartfelt moment, but I’m running out of pillows here.” Donald and Edward said in unison. ”See? Even Mr. Davenport and Mr.Thompson agree!”Leo yanks the stabilizer from my hand. “Should we take this bad boy down all of us together?”

Daniella pov

”As long as I’m the one holding the stabilizer,” I say holding my hand out.“That’s not fair,” Leo says hogging the stabilizer. I roll my eyes. “Fine.” “I’ll flip, Leo you zap, and Dani you direct us?” Chase asks smugly. I grin wider than ever. Chase goes out and I go behind him. I whistle at the Exo. “Hey, Exo!” Chase and I parkour around to the Exo. “Here comes the pain.”Not yet!” Leo ignores me and the Exo slaps the stabilizer right off his hand. I groan in sheer frustration. “Oh. Hey.”If my girlfriend tells you not yet, you should listen to her! She’s almost never wrong!” Dominic shouts out. "I am not your girlfriend Dominic," I said. “Almost?!” I say angrily. When I turn my attention back at Leo, the Exo caught him. “Hey, Chase, Daniella, did we have a plan B?” Leo asks. “No! We didn’t! Because we didn’t think you would ignore my directions! There goes, let’s just wing it!” I say crouching now next to Chase. "I'll help," Dominic said walking towards me and Chase. “Hey! Nobody lays a hand on my grandson! It’s time to pick up the hat!” Rose runs towards the exoskeleton kicking him. Then she goes back to crouching and hiding behind the couch. “Way to go, grandma! And you didn’t even break a hip!” Bree exclaims. “Or your back!” Dominic says after Bree.Leo! Look out!” I say running towards the stabilizer, while Chase went to grab Leo. “Stay close to both of us,” Chase tells Leo. Chase makes a force field around the three of us, and when the exoskeleton is close enough to it, I use my telekinesis from behind Chase and take the stabilizer right next to Chase, then afterwards blasting the exoskeleton. After the blast, the exoskeleton goes flying off to the other side of the room. “Well deserved for hitting me in the face!” I sassily say looking at the exoskeleton from afar. “Alright!” We all say in unison while hugging.

Daniella pov

Ruining the moment, Rose angrily says, “someone better tell me what’s going on right now. And right now just passed, so you’re not talking fast enough. “Uh, Rose, there is a completely rational explanation for all of this,” dad said approaching Rose. Is there though?“You are delusional. Who wants dessert?”Ah, yes, that totally makes sense. We all smile at the dessert part. “You know what, mom? This is our life. Our house may be high-tech and chaotic, but it is full of love. And it may not be perfect for you, but it is perfect for our family,” Tasha says walking over to us and putting her arms around us. Truer words couldn’t be said. “What family? Wait a minute, who are these people?” Rose asked confused. “Uh, they are my brother’s kids. That I adopted when he died. Fell into a volcano. Um, except Dominic he is actually Edward's kid, and he’s not actually Daniella’s boyfriend.” dad said. Dominic looked at me. “Actually she is,” he said hugging me and I put my head on his shoulder. My face was burning up, I could feel I was redder than a tomato. Dad glared at Dominic, "no you aren't," dad said. "Hell no I am not having a Davenport around the Thompson manor," Edward said. "Dad this is my decision and I want to see where this goes," Dominic said. “Well, why didn’t you just say so? Now it all makes sense. You’re just a modern family with a bunch of adorable kids. Who is gonna need their grandma around all the time,” Rose’s expressions changed from mad to super happy real quick? “You know, I can stay for a few days, in the spare room you got down the hall. Come on, baby. I got my overnight case in the car, and Gladys is watching Poochie, so it’s no problem. Don’t thank me now. Come on.”No way!” Edward said "it is not my house but hell no" Edward said.

Daniella pov

‘This means we can never use our bionics again huh?’ I ask in disbelief. Chase sighed in thought. ‘Most likely.’“I should get going, thank you for having me over!” Dominic said as he gives me a kiss on the cheek and rushes off. I giggle, drowning out both of our dad’s annoyance in both of us. "Well see you all soon," Edward said. "If you hurt Dominic I will find you and kill you got that," Edward said to me and I smiled nervously. ”Chase, Daniella, you two really messed up today, you Daniella you knew what Chase was doing, but you two kind of made up for it the way you helped Leo like a brother. And since we have to reschedule it anyways, I want all of you to be on... ‘the call.’ Hoo. It’s back, baby,” dad tells us and we all half-hug, with me in the middle putting one arm around Adam, Bree, Chase, Leo and dad.

Daniella pov

“Oh, man, I am starving!” Rose exclaims. Then there’s a doorbell. “That must be the pizza,” I said. “Yeah,” Tasha said. ”I’ll get it,” Leo says walking in with the exoskeleton suit on. “Leo, what’re you doing in that thing?” Tasha asks. Leo opens the door and scares the poor pizza man. We all laugh at how he ran off, didn’t even scream, he just dropped the pizza and soon enough he was running a marathon. “Getting free pizza,” Leo said grabbing the pizza and bringing them over.
