In Daniella room

Daniella pov

I was in my room I had just finished showering and said "Eddie take out I am going to school outfit" I said. "Okay princess," Eddie said. As I came out I changed and Daniella's actual first day of school I looked in the mirror and head down to the lab.

In the lab

Donald pov

"I have prepared you all for high stakes missions but you are about to enter the soul-brushing, confidence-crushing, apocalyptic environment which is known as high school," I said. "It didn't seem so bad when we went there the first time dad," Daniella said. "Adam, Bree your glitch test seems fairly stable," I said. "Alright," said both Adam and Bree " I am fairly stable," said Adam. "But Daniella and Chase I am worried about the two of you especially with your commando app Chase," I said "Daniella I am worried you aren't ready because even when I try to adjust your sensitivity hearing you still bleed and go unconscious whenever I pull the bell plus your glitch test shows slightly unstable," I said. "But dad," Daniella said. "Commando app? Put on some underpants, Chase. We are going to school" Leo said. "Not that kind of never mind," Daniella said. "No, see when Chase is in imminent danger, Chase commando app kicks in and he becomes a fearless brute which I call Spike," I said as I explained it and Leo and Daniella looked interested in the topic well mover over to Daniella. "It's kind of like a fight-or-flight thing, except I took out the flight part, cause useless. And I replaced it with a testosterone level of a Tasmanian Devil-Wolvarine-Shark-Lion hybrid" I said "that's mad" Leo and Daniella said at the same time.

Daniella pov

"That's terrifying and terrible," I said "how could you put that in Chase," I said as I looked at my dad and Chase.

Chase pov

"Don't worry Mr. Davenport I promise that Spike won't rear his ugly head" I said. "He does know that Spike is him right? And that they share the same head" Leo said.

Donald pov

"Oh, you mean when last Christmas when I made the mistake of giving Adam the boxing gloves?" I said. "That was a horrible memory the lab got completely trashed," I said. "Oh and remember that year when I decided to prank you on April fools with a bell and you fainted Daniella," I said.

Adam pov

"Ugh I am still coughing up tinsel," I said.

Bree pov

"He is beyond terrifying" I added.

Daniella pov

"Wait do that explains last Christmas when I heard a noise coming from the lab I just thought you dropped something and was yelling at someone on the phone," I said as I looked at my dad and he looked at the floor completely embarrassed that I said that. "Oh I remember dad," I said as I looked at the floor when he said that.

Donald pov

"You know letting Chase and Daniella go to school isn't such a good idea I can't risk Spike coming out and I can't risk the health of Daniella not yet I mean why should I send the two of you to school when you both have super smarts," I said.

Leo pov

"Come on big D Daniella and Chase has to come. With these guys, I can finally get the prime spot at the cafeteria. That's right y'all. Put on your coats cause I am about to ride your tails.

Adam pov

"Don't worry we will make sure Chase stays out of trouble and we will keep an eye on Daniella to make sure she doesn't faint right guys" I said.

Bree pov

"Yeah, it's one for all and all for one. Unless you guys make me look bad in which case I will drop your lame-o's well except for Daniella since she is the only girl here beside me with bionics" I said.

Leo pov

"It shouldn't be too hard for Chase and Daniella to stay out of trouble. They don't even know how to get in trouble well except for Daniella she got in trouble on my first day here" I said as I earned a glare from both Daniella and Chase well more from Daniella than Chase. Then I realized how bad it sounded "that sounded less mean in my head," I said to the group.

Chase pov

"But Mr. Davenport I can't miss school. This is the beginning of my academic achievements and career trajectory. I mean, the road to Astronaut Lawyer has to start somewhere" I said.

Daniella pov

"But dad I can't miss the first day of school. This would be the beginning of me being a normal person plus this would be the beginning of my academic achievements and career trajectory. I mean if I want to be a Theoretical physicist and Inventor I have to start now right" I said to my dad.

Both Daniella and Chase pov.

"No comments," both Chase and Daniella said together as they looked at each other.

Donald pov

"Okay. But I better not get a call from the art teacher saying that Spike ripped out her larynx and I better not get another call from the science teacher saying that Daniella fainted when the bell rings and that she can't wake up" I said.

Chase pov

"Actually she wouldn't be able to talk, because Spike ripped out her lar--" I said as the others began to laugh.

Daniella pov

"Since we are talking about me and Chase the science teacher would have to call the paramedics and then call you or call you then the paramedics since I would be uncon-" I said as everyone began to laugh my dad not so much. "The point is to keep them both out of trouble," Donald said. "Look what I found," Adam said as my eyes widened when I saw the boxing gloves on his hands. He punched the air a few times before hitting Chase causing him to fall to the floor. I immediately ran in front of Chase and Adam trying to prevent Chase from turning into Spike. "Don't Adam" I yelled I looked at my dad as he tried to move but Leo and Bree blocked him. "Ella don't you dare do anything stupid," my dad said as he looked at me with worry in his eyes. "Chase," I said with a quiver in my voice as I was terrified that Adam would hit him as I put a force shield to protect both me and Chase I looked and saw Chase on the floor and I took one hand to pull him up. I put the force field down and hugged Chase as dad came and pulled me into a hug. "Don't ever do that ever again young lady" my dad said as he still kept his hold on me.

Adam pov

"Look I am sorry Daniella I am sorry I put you in a situation where you have to protect the others from Spike but if he is that close to the glove then it's going to happen," I said.

Donald pov

"As funny as that was it was really dangerous to do that to him and to make Daniella be the one to stop it," I said. When a bell rang I saw Daniella fell to the floor as blood ran from her nose I saw that it was Adam that made the bell rang. I tried to wake up Daniella." Sweetie can you hear me" I said as I saw movement from her I got up and put her into a sitting position. "Bring me some water" I yelled. "Okay Dani just breath and use your bionic healing," I said in a calm voice but my voice was cracking up as I was about to cry.

Daniella pov

After I healed myself I pulled my dad into a hug and then released myself from his.

Donald pov

"Adam" I yelled. "Yes, Mr. Davenport," Adam said. "Why did you make the bell ring," I said as I was about to yell. "Dad I am fine," Daniella said. "You aren't," I said. As everything was now okay. "Go to school" I yelled at them to head out. As they helped Daniella off the floor.

At school

Daniella pov

I saw Dominic Thompson looking all cute in his clothes Dominic I waved at him but I guess he didn't see since he was talking to someone. I still didn't see what was wrong with the school it was totally awesome. I went to classes but it was difficult since the bells were ringing a lot.

In the cafeteria

At the Davenports table

Daniella pov

I came into the cafeteria and I saw the others as I stand with them.

Leo pov

"Okay guys that's Principal I used my finger to motion to which she was. "I think that's she has a temperament of a junkyard dog stuffed into a bad pantsuit," Daniella said. I laughed slightly at the joke.

Principle Perry pov

"Hey, you no tongue rings in school," I said "don't make me take a metal detector to your face," I said.

Daniella pov

"Yikes," I said. As a boy was walking towards us Bree was totally nervous. "This is it. My chance for romance. On tv the new girl drops her books and a boy with soulful eyes picks them up" Bree said. As the guy walked toward us and Bree dropped the books and a teacher slipped on them. I tried so hard not to laugh. The teacher glared at her "oops sorry I am new" said Bree. I tried my hardest not to bust out laughing. "Well that didn't work," I said. As she glared at me I just looked at Bree. She took my physics textbook and dropped it on the floor. I was about to pick it up when I heard a male voice I turned around and saw Dominic.

Dominic pov

Oh hey, Daniella, it's you. I was wondering when you were coming back" I said.

Daniella pov

I turned and saw the guy from the party standing there looking all cute and smiling. "Dominic.... right?" "Oh h..hey Dominic," I said as I stuttered. "Oh here you must have dropped this," Dominic said as he picked up my textbook and handed them to me "oh hey are you in Mr. King's physics class," Dominic said. "Yes, I am," I said as I looked at him. "Thanks," I said as he looked at me one last time with the boyish smile which makes my heart beat a little faster. "Oh come on," Bree said.

Leo pov

"Okay so moving on your social life is determined by where you sit. We can't sit at the cool table" Leo said as I motioned to the cheerleader's table. "But we are cool table adjacent," I said pointing to another one. "FYI Adam just sat at the cool table," Bree said and we all looked to see him taking and they are all laughing when Adam put oranges for eyes. "What," I said. "He can't sit that's where the footballers sit with the cheerleaders. And they pride themselves on finding clever places to pudding cups" I said.

Bree pov

"Well both you and Daniella have one friend at this school that is nowhere to be seen," I said. I saw Daniella looking around to see if I was right. "She is right," Daniella said.

Daniella pov

"I am sure they all can't be that bad," I said.

Chase pov

"Those girls are actually talking to him and they can't talk about colours and shapes forever. See ya" I said before I left.

Daniella pov

"I have to say I agree with Chase on this one," I said as I left the others and joined the cool table.

At the cheerleader's table

Daniella pov

"Hey guys," I said. "What are you talking about," I asked. "We are currently talking about our favourite colours," Chase said as he looked bored at the topic.

Leo pov

I was the three of them at the table "no the footballers are going to turn them into the 5th food group" I said. Bree gives me a are you serious look. "This is a rescue mission Bree move in, move-in," I said before we walked over trying to be stealthy for some reason.

At the table

Adam pov

"Oh hey, guys," I said "the cheerleaders just told us that when the footballers get here we are going to get free pudding cups," I said. "Oh," said Leo. Leo awkwardly said hi to one of the cheerleaders and then moved in between Daniella and Chase saying "walk away" Leo said. He made awkward small talk again and saying "both of your lives are in great danger," Leo said. I saw Daniella got up and joined Leo as I saw the look of terror in her eyes.

Daniella pov

Leo was making me nervous when I got up and I stand behind Chase just in case Spike came out. I heard chanting and then I saw the footballers and then I saw Dominic and realize he was with them I got mad. One of them walked behind Leo and he stiffened up and he smelled the room and he made Leo leave. Dominic slammed his hand on the table where Chase was.

Daniella pov

"Well this is either going to be really good or bad either way it's going to be funny," I said.

Chase pov

"Hey, that's my seat. Get lost before I use you like a napkin" I said trying to be funny. I saw Bree and Daniella walked over to me and Bree grabbed my shoulder. "Chase we should go," Daniella said. "Yeah that's a good idea," Bree said. "He isn't very absorbent," Daniella said going along to the joke.

Chase pov

The guy began to spill a drink over the table "oh look a spill" the guy said as he grabbed me, Daniella, and Bree." "I think I will wipe it with your face," I said. As I escaped the guy's grip and I slammed him against the table. "Think again bubble neck I am going to rip out your kneecaps and use them as hockey pucks," I said. "Oh no it's Spike," Daniella said. I saw them moving over with Leo away from me with Adam. "I don't mean to alarm anyone but I think Spike is back," Adam said as he got nods from the rest of us. "This is really bad," Daniella said. "I am going in," Daniella said. "You are going to get yourself killed and what will Mr. Davenport has to say when he sees you unconscious in a hospital bed," said Bree. "I will just try to stop him without my bionics," Daniella said. I saw Daniella walking over and trying to stop the situation.

Spike pov

I threw Trent the guy that I was fighting to his friends but he recovered quickly. "You have no idea who you are messing with okay. Pudding cups" I said(Chase) as two were handed to me. "Okay, I will take those," I said as I did what Trent did to me and the others. "Hey," said Trent. As I squeezed them as it exploded on them all. All of them. "Oh you are dead," Trent said but I just glared at them and made them all run away. "You okay. You are lucky we have to go to the reading center right now" Daniella said.

Daniella pov

"I glanced at the others. Then everyone was just staring at us and then they applauded. "Take a seat compadres. This is our table now" Spike said. "I mean I am going to take the spot at the table why not? What's the worst that can happen right?" We all took seats and I sat between two cheerleaders in the back. "Hello ladies," Leo said "you may have remembered me from health class when I passed out during the miracle of birth video. It's good to see you again" Leo said. Very cool Leo I thought in my head.

Later that day in the hallway

Daniella pov

Later that day we were walking down the hall with Leo in front, he was clearly enjoying this. "Alright make room for the Alpha Dogs. Woof! Woof! Woof! Woof!" Leo said. "Don't do that" Adam said. "Okay," Leo said. "Wait if we are the Alpha Dogs, then..." Bree said before she dropped her books, and two boys immediately pick them up for her. "Oh, I love this" Bree said. " I don't see what's good about it," I said. "That's because you already have it," Bree said. A guy walked by and handed Spike(Chase) a piece of paper, we all turned to look at it. "What's this" Spike said. "That's an all-access hall pass. You can go anywhere you want with that" Leo said. "I can go anywhere I want already," Chase said before he walked in front of us. "These, ugh, are my hall passes," Chase said as he was flexing... I mean he still has Chase's body so arms yeah arms I thought in my head. "Okay if he starts oiling up I am out," Leo said and we nodded. A few seconds later Chase stood up and started talking. "Commando app disengage". "Guys, why was I in commando mode?" Chase said. "You were in commando mode," Bree said. "I didn't see a commando mode," Leo said. "You have a commando mode," I said as I was lying to Chase. "Oh, that's good. Everyone keeps lying," Adam said as if Chase couldn't hear him. You guys were supposed to watch out for me" Chase said. "Oh we watched the whole thing. You manhandled the quarterback and pudding pop the whole offensive line" Leo said. "What? Aw, great! This is so going to haunt my Supreme Court nomination" Chase said. "Umm.. guys why is their blood on the floor" Chase said. 'Daniella" Chase exclaimed. "What Chase," I said "there is blood on your umm... nose," Chase said."no, no, no," I said as I took a piece of clothing to wipe up the blood and came back out. "Don't tell Mr.Davenport I mean dad about this" I said. "Okay but what if it happens again," Chase said. "It won't happen again Chase if it does then call dad I mean Mr.Davenport I mean I don't know what y'all call him anyways," I said. "You know what Spike would say to that? Nothing. He'd rip out your rib cage and play it like a xylophone," Adam said. "He is terrifying, but I've got to admit there are perks to being around him," I said. "I like him," Adam said. "He is like a big, fun monster and you are a sad little buddy," Adam said. "I'll get Spike back," Leo said, as he walked up to Chase and dropped his backpack. "Get lost before I use you like a napkin," Leo said before trying and failing to pick up Chase. Multiple times........ "Yeah this isn't gonna work," Leo said. But I knew that.

Later on

Dominic pov

Right before I was going back into the cafeteria for lunch my shirt was yanked backwards, and I was pulled into a bathroom. "Daniella. What was that" I said. I turned and saw it was Daniella. "What do you mean? " Daniella said.

Daniella pov

"Oh well... my brother has some... anger issues? I'm sorry you got caught in the crossfire" I said. "Don't worry about me. You should be more worried about what Trent's gonna do" Dominic said. I smiled before walking out. "I am sure we'll be fine," I said.

In the cafeteria

Daniella pov

Once I sat down at the table, I heard the voice of that woman.... the principal. "Hey, new kid! Come here" said Principal Perry. Chase immediately got up and walked over to her. "Do you know what happens when my football players get humiliated?" Principal Perry asked, and Chase didn't reply. "No! You don't! Because my football players don't get humiliated?" the principal Perry said. "They look humiliated to me," Adam said, and we all looked over at their new table, which was next to the trash and dirty dishes.

Principal Perry pov

"I know what team spirit is all about. Because I was the jammer on the North pacific Roller Derby Championship team" I said, expecting some applause or something. "Quite an accomplishment," Chase said. "Don't mock me, squash fac. My career ended when a trash talker like you, got inside my head and I wiped. One zebra called it the worst single-bodied collision she'd ever seen" I said. "I'd crash too if I saw a talking zebra," Chase said.

Daniella pov

I saw Chase talking to Perry and I sighed as I got up and walked over to him. "Ch-Chase... y-you're not making it better," I said. "It's a referee you desk donkey! Trent told me what you did this morning at breakfast. You will not undermind the morale of my team. Evacuate this table. NOW!" the principal said. Leo, Adam and Bree got up immediately and we all stood behind Chase. This is probably the only time I've ever gonna say this but I hope Spike comes out...

Chase pov

"Watch who you're talking to, sports bra," I said. "I bet you panicked, threw yourself off the track and blamed the other team for your weakness," I said. "Do you think this Spike has gotten out of hand?" Leo said. "Yeah... maybe a bit," Daniella said. "He might have crossed the line at sports bra," Bree said, as we all nodded in agreement. "I had to quit because of that accident," Perry said. "Quit? Or moved out of the state in shame?" Spike said and many people gasped. "He doesn't know! He wasn't there" Daniella said. "Why don't you hop in your economy car and tootle on home to your six cats and your online bingo tournament," I said. "Jokes on you. I have five cats. Ha," Perry said. She then walked over to Trent, and after a minute she came back over. "Alright kid. I'll make you a deal. Let's be civilized and settle this the old fashion way" Perry said. In what way is that civilized I thought. " We're in. Me, him, her, her.... and him" I said, as pointed to Adam, Bree, Daniella and then Leo. "You and your band of nobodies versus my fighting dingoes," Perry said. "Who is she calling a nobody? I got half a BFF necklace today" Bree said as Leo and Adam looked quite impressed. "And I got my books picked up by a cute football player we are about to face in some kind of sport. That's not the point" Daniella said with a hiss in her voice. "Winner takes all the glory," Perry said.

Leo pov

"Oh, ma'am, as much as I like to flex my football fanciness, um the girl soccer has the field tonight I said as I stepped in front of Chase. "Ah, just as well I can't condone such a violent game on school grounds," Perry said. "So let's take it to the dog park across the street," Perry said. "Yeah," the team said as they left. "Am I the only one who is going to need a fresh change of pants before we start?" Did I say?

At the field

Daniella pov

As I and the others walked onto the field that very night. "Is there any way to get out of this Leo?" I asked nervously. "Quit your whining or I'll rip out your larynx!" Spike growled and I moved behind Adam and Bree. "Point taken," I said. We were already in the uniforms so...I guess my question was already answered. A crowd was also there just to watch this... and I am scared out of my mind.

Leo pov

"This doesn't seem fair," I said. "Seems fair to me. Let's get it on!" Perry said as she blew the whistle. Let's huddle" I said. "Huh," Adam said. "Pardon me," Bree said." What" I said. "I huddled before I got here," Daniella said." Oh man, you guys don't know how to play football. Okay, we need to stop that team from getting into our end zone and scoring a..." I stopped when they threw a football behind us, and I was tackled to the ground."Touchdown" Trent said. we tried to huddle again, and the score was 7-0. "Um... it's seven points for one touchdown? That's crazy...... I don't get this sport" Daniella said. "Alright, Adam. You squat down right here" I said as I lead him to the right spot. "And when I say 'hike' you're gonna pass the ball between your legs to my hands which will be right here," I said. "Whoa! Hey, it's football. It's not handball" Adam said.

Spike/Chase pov

"Hey nugget head, quit sucking air and hike him the ball like this," I said before I did it correctly..... except Leo got picked up and carried into our end zone. And we huddled again. "Losing makes me want to rip out my own intestines and wear 'em as a sweatband," I said."Okay. The only way we're gonna win this is if we use your super speed, your super strength, your super smarts and speed and your super-nutty split personality" Leo said, motioning to each of us. "I'll do whatever it takes," Bree said, "I already smell like a sweaty ape. I don't want this to be for nothing" Bree said. "Here's what we are actually gonna do," Leo said before we went into what I assume to be an actual huddle. "Break!" Leo said.

Bree pov

We then split up, and I went to the sidelines. "Yeah! Go, team! Whoo!" I said, and I saw them giving me confused looks. "I'm a football player and cheerleader. I'm that good" I said. "Alright then," Daniella said.

Leo pov

We all got into position, before I said, "hey. Is that a Biggie Burger truck pulling up?" I said. It distracted them so Bree and Daniella used their super speed to tie their shoelaces together but Dominic saw what we were doing. "What in tarnation are you two doing," Dominic said. "WE're um......... tying their shoelaces together," Daniella said. "You are all bionic aren't you," Dominic said "no," Daniella said. "Oh alright fine yes so no one's gonna believe you," Daniella said. "Well......... so am I. I am also bionic can we talk after the game" Dominic said.

Daniella pov

"Guys, we have a situation Dominic knows about our bionics," I said to them all. "That's so bad Mr. Davenport is gonna ship us out again if he finds out," Adam said. "He wants to talk after so maybe we can negotiate oh and the most bizarre thing also is that he is also bionic," I said." We have to continue the game guys" Leo said. "Guess not. Hike!" Perry said.

Leo pov

While they were preoccupied with their shoes, I give Spike the ball and he ran through them all and scoring a touchdown. Adam began to cheer and I give him a look before I and Daniella joined them. The game continued and both scores rose. 23-17. We were huddling again when Perry came over and pushed her way between Adam and Bree. "Seven seconds left. Now, remember kids there is no shame in losing. Oh, wait. Yes, there is!" Perry said before laughing, "game on" Perry added before blowing her whistle and leaving. "Alright, we have time for one more play. Spike, you scored every touchdown today. You score one more and we win" I said. "Give me the ball. If I don't come back with their spleens you'll know I failed" Spike said. As soon as he walked over to the ball he turned back to us. "Wait where am I? And why am I wearing a jockstrap?" Chase said. "Oh no, it's Chase. We need Spike back. Where's Spike" Bree said as she ran over to him and shook his helmet with Adam having to pull her off him. "Hey let's go we don't have all day," Perry said. "Time out," I said.

Chase pov

"I told you I don't want to be Spike," I said. "Look I have been waiting for 15 years and now I don't remember it," I said. "When you put it that way it sounds selfish," Leo said. "Yeah," Bree said. "Oh, come on I wanna win," Daniella said. "No he's right," Leo said moving them apart. "Come on guys we can still win this thing. And even if we don't what do we have to lose" Chase said. "Our table," Adam said. "Our popularity," Daniella and Bree said. "Everything," Leo said. "Okay here's what we're gonna do I'll do a flea-flicker to you," Leo said"And I'll use my mathematical analysis to throw the perfect pass," I said. "Adam assumes the position," Leo said. After I threw the ball to Chase and we ran to the other end zone everyone told Chase to throw to them but instead of this happened he got tackled. "Game over Dingoes win," Perry said.

After the game

Daniella pov

As soon as we picked up Chase we told him about Dominic and soon we were walking to a bench to talk. "Hey Thompson," I said. "Hey Daniella so about the game sorry about that but we have to talk about the whole bionics thing," Dominic said. "Well so do we tell our parents about this or not," Dominic said. "Yes we tell them and hope for the best," Daniella said. They told Donald and Edward and soon they decide what's the harm in knowing but they must all keep this a secret.
