《Aesha Roxinne Flinn》Room

So this is it.
I removed my helmet and roamed my eyes on the vicinity of the place. This looks like a huge university, less the welcoming appearance, and friendly schoolmates.
This place looks like a place you would never want to step in.
And speaking to that, I am now in the center of a wide field and people in different rooms are out, looking at an unannounced visitor.
I suddenly feel goosebumps feeling like I'm their favorite dish on their table and that they would kill each other because of their desire to slice me alone greedily. I shivered in nervousness and I removed myself out of the place in so much fear.
Joke.
Like that would happen?
I ignored all the eyes looking at me and disregarded the grins, smirks, and gazes they are giving me out.
So, this is Luther's way to shelter them?
Gathering them all together here in a facility that is obviously modified to accommodate them.
This is not bad as I thought it would be.
And it complemented these people really well. As well as their mafia leader.
I let my engine disturb the place and I parked my motorcycle in a not so proper way, that I am an inch away to scratch a parked luxurious car.
The owner should thank me for stopping.
I removed my helmet and fixed my hair a bit before I moved to walk near the guard in this place.
Yes, it has a guard and he is no ordinary one. You can immediately say that base on his appearance.
"Mr. Luther didn't inform us about your arrival." he casually chatted to me.
"I'm sorry to disappoint, but even him doesn't have any idea about my arrival today," I informed him before snatching the keys from his pocket.
He is a known versatile man with weapons but he is more seen and known by the way he uses his swords, like how German holds his gun very well. And I know that because he is one of those people who taught me a little about it, on how to control the sword, before that night happened.

Just like German, he is one of those people Luther trusted and believes in so much, and they do so too to him.
He just stared at me and let me play the keys in my hand.
Which room should I snatch?
Who will be sleeping outside tonight?
"I can just lead you to a room that is vacant so we do not have to disturb some people along the way," he advises me with a tone like he was lecturing a dear child.
That is a piece of good advice, but I am not good, so I wanted to just do something tonight. Besides, where's the thrill in that?
I continued rummaging about which key should I get but he is fast to snatch them away from me.
"You really love giving me headaches," he said and a memory of me and him before passed on my mind for a while.
That's a cute memory but it was immediately covered by the dark ones.
The keys are instantly in his pocket again and he inserted his hand there to stop me from snatching it again.
But I already have one in my finger.
I showed him a key that I secretly removed earlier and he only give me a null expression.
"I am sure you wouldn't want to use that one," he said seriously at me.
"Now I felt more excited to use it,"
I just walked past him and proceeded to walk to the hallway.
Room 178.
As if a monster is hiding behind that room's door.
I continued walking through even with eyes following me all the time. A man with only his boxers on suddenly opened the door, I swiftly moved on the other side avoiding the door and him.
"Whoa," I heard him say and his eyes traveled immediately to my body. He was about to grab me but I made sure he will not.
"Touch me and you'll die," I coldly said it, and he stopped for a brief moment before his smile come to life.

"Will you kill me in bed tonight?" he questioned trying to grab me on my waist again,
My hand is on his neck already at that. I tightened it and he let me do so for a while.
I immediately feel pissed when I noticed he is still playing around. I am about to choke him to death but his strong hand snaked on my hand and removed it there easily.
My hand hurt on the way he removed it.
This one is strong.
He titled his neck and placed his hand there to check something before he proceeded to look at me again.
"You're wild," he commented and I saw his neck turned a bit red.
"Don't get on my way." I warned and left him there to walk straight to the room I choose.
The key I've picked is in the last room. I should have picked that guy's key because his room is not this far.
I am down to the last two rooms when I felt a gun placed behind my head.
Now, that's something I've expected.
Should I start eliminating Luther's puppet now? Because based on the firmness of the gun in my head, this one is really determined to kill.
"Do you have some farewell note in your bag?"
I faced her without a doubt, making the gun point to my forehead now.
"Do you have one?" I boredly returned her question.
I looked at her and realized that she is still a teen. 16 years old or 17?
What made her belong here?
What made her hug this?
And why is she pointing guns at people?
She looked immediately irritated and was about to pull the trigger but I held her arm up so it fired on the ceiling. Pissed, she used her other hand to grab another one but I smacked her hand, making her drop it on the floor. She glanced at the gun on the floor. She glared at me and planned to aim another one at me but she was immediately stopped by the guy who appeared out of nowhere.
"You better return that back Vien,"
I turned my eyes on him, trying to remember him but it seems like I haven't seen him before. Even with the gatherings the mafia venued.
"Why would I?" her voice rose, still angry.
"She is his daughter,"
I looked at him darkly and I am very sure I'll snatch the girl's gun and point it at him now if he'll gonna introduce me like that again.
I am not his daughter.
The girl irritatedly remove the gun from my face and picked up the other one on the floor. She then looks at me from head to toe.
"Mr. Luther has never introduced her to us so how would I know?!" she said carelessly and she covered her mouth immediately when she realized what she just said.
I stared at her coldly.
Right.
Who would introduce a rebel daughter?
"He is not my father. " I corrected before I walked away to enter my room.
I thought I need to be alerted by the monster staying in this room base on Rene's warning but why am I not seeing anyone here? I carefully moved, inspecting the place but I found nothing unusual in here.
The room is very neat and organized.
I walked near the window to see if anyone jumped from it but the window is locked so I doubt that.
I then placed my things on the bed, and sit on it, understanding how my life will be here. Sure this is not an easy one.

Cycles of Ruin
Civilizations rise and fall. Kith build them up and monsters, led by powerful dungeon keepers, bring them to ruin. For three thousand years the cycle has been maintained by the Guild of Chaos and its endless hordes of minions who—in absence of their long lost creators—have taken it upon themselves to keep the realms of the universe in balance. The Guild has grown efficient at this task, but some among its ranks have begun to ponder the utility of a universe that has been robbed of the very possibility of change. Basil von Doom is one such dungeon keeper working for the Guild, leading an army of loyal minions from one conquest to the next; burning civilizations and sifting through the ruins in search of forbidden knowledge that the races of kith were never meant to possess. But having spent more than half a century in pursuit of glory and fame—trying to live up to the legacy of his father—Basil has grown indifferent towards his work. Desperate for a worthy challenge, but bound by his duties as a dungeon keeper, he has turned his mind towards uncovering the ultimate fate of the previous master of his house and the secrets that were buried with him. Now the young Master of House Doom must balance his growing interest in pursuing the trail of his father with the responsibilities that come with running a dungeon in service to the Guild of Chaos. To remain in good standing with the Guild, Basil has even accepted the task of mentoring an apprentice dungeon keeper, a young succubus named Elnora. It is at the tail end of her apprenticeship that the story begins; with a civilization poised to fall—its greatest heroes gathering for one last assault on the heart of darkness—and Basil striking up a conversation with his apprentice that will set into motion the unraveling of the universe. ***This is a rewrite and continuation of my story that was first posted on RoyalRoad a few years ago.
