Chapter 14: Bloodbath?

This is bad... Very, very bad.

Naku was supposed to stay at Korka village for another twelve days, but she came early... Wait a minute! Why am I so worried? I may feel like an unfaithful husband, but that's not the case.

I want to see Naku! I want to see her after these days of absence! I must tell her what has happened, introduce her to Fortuna, but make it clear that she (Naku) is the only one in my heart.

She must have figured who I was talking about, as a smile formed on her face.

At the end, we decided to postpone going out to get the berries. During the course of our journey, Fortuna looked like a warrior preparing for battle, Blair, on the other hand, has been silent since the encounter, and every time our eyes meet, she avoids it in a bad mood ... I hope she changes that personality before it brings problems to her.

When we finally arrived at my house, the first person to greet us was Naku, who was outside, waiting for me.

I felt so good to see her, that for a moment, I forgot the situation I was in.

She looked happy too. But when she saw me getting closer, or rather, after seeing the girls who accompanied me, her face darkened with a serious gesture.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, young oracle of the Naga. My name is Fortuna Dewell, and the person who accompanies me is my half sister and bodyguard, Blair Jewal." (Fortuna)

Time froze for a moment for all of us, especially for me...

"I'm so sorry, Aruh! I said it without thinking." (Naku)

Naku was kneeling in front of me, apologizing.

What about all my concern? This time I was thinking about how to solve this mess and declare my love for Naku ...

"I'm really sorry, the person I love is you." (Naku)

H-How can you say things this easily, Naku…?

"And I... love you too." (Aruh)

I told her, not the gallant and cool way I expected to, but I told her.

Naku's eyes wet with tears, I offered her my hand to help her get up and she took advantage of it to hug me.
