SS1: The guardians
*Third person POV*
A pure white light illuminated the sacred enclosures built with marble. Beautiful reliefs and angelic sculptures would be the envy of every artist.
A monument to beauty and wealth.
The temple of Waltanica, also called "The palace of the Arc".
In front of a huge pillar, the source of the sacred light, a young woman dressed in white and gold silky clothes, was praying with both hands in front of her.
"More than seven thousand years have passed. Bravery... no, the insolence of the demon king is something to be feared." (?)
A young man dressed in clothes similar to those of the maiden approached her. Contrasting the atmosphere around the young woman praying, which could be described as that of imperturbable waters, the boy was like a merciless sword.
They both belonged to the same race. A feature they both shared was the pair of beautiful white wings growing from their backs.
The Arc, apostles of the gods.
"That's not all, Ertt" (Young Priestess)
"Mmm?" (Ertt)
"A soul that should not exist. A seed of the demon king, his legacy, has been planted in the world." (Young Priestess)
"Then one of his daughters survived... I thought we had killed them all. Which of them is and how did she escape?" (Ertt)
The young man, by the name of Ertt, remained calm, but clearly he was annoyed. A frail person could even die by being seen with those eyes.
"There are a lot of things I do not know about in this situation, and that bothers me. That time we kill all of his descendants, there is no doubt about that. The irregularity I feel is different from the souls of his daughters, a new soul." (Young Priestess)
"Then I suppose I'll have to go down to look for that irregularity and kill it." (Ertt)

The young priestess did not answer, only nodded softly. This response made Ertt smile, softly smile. No matter how many times he saw that expression in the girl, regardless of his long years of life, that look on her seemed adorable as always.
Following the orders they had both decided, Ertt prepared to leave immediately.
"Before you go ... Visit the inner sanctuary." (Young Priestess)
"It’s useless, I have not been able to handle ‘it’ since that time." (Ertt)
"At least its protection will guide you on your journey" (Young Priestess)
Ertt nodded and shifted his way to a descending stairs.
"May the gods and the sword of Templates guide your steps." (Young Priestess)
