Chapter 2

After what seemed like about six minutes, Alex decided to look around as he walked through Diagon alley he stumbled upon a shop. "Ollivanders? Wand shop?"Alex Whispered to himself.

Alex opened the door and entered. "Hello, you need a wand I presume?" Said the mysterious elderly man int front of a counter. Alex quickly took out his supplies list and spoted "1x wand".

Alex looked up and said curiously " How did you know I needed a wand? Who are you?"

The old man replied "I'm Garrick Ollivander, this shop has made wands since 382 B.C. of course I know you need a wand, my family has supplied wands for hundreds of years, we've seen hundreds of young wizards like yourself." Mr. Ollivander chuckled.

The bells on the door jingled and a young wizard came in. "Hello Mr. potter did you break your wand?" Ollivander questioned Harry "No Mr. Ollivander, I was looking for Alex. Hi alex I see you found the Ollivanders" happily said knowing he had found Alex after looking everywhere.

Ollivander pulled a wand box as they conversed looking at the the box it was different from the other boxes filled with wands laying around. It was a wand he didn't make but a wand his great grandfather made.

Ollivander took out the wand that was made out of Ash and thestral Hair and was aproximitly 11 1/2 inches. Ollivander opened his mouth and spoke “Try this.”

Alex looked at Harry. Harry nodded and said “Flick it.”

As soon as he was about to flickthe wand what happened to harry when he first got his wand happened to Alex. A golden light appeared and caused the air to move almost like the wind.

“Perfect match” Ollivander said, giving harry a quick glance.

“We should get going, I got all your other supplies minus the books here they are. Let's hurry.” Harry anxiously said. They rushed out while saying thank you to ollivander.

While rushing out the wand shop they bumped into a man wearing a brown trench coat Alex dropped one of the bags that was previously given to him by harry in the wand shop.

The man had also dropped a bag that was similar to Alex’s bag.

In a hurry they apologized to the tall man picked up one of the bags that had been dropped and rushed to the bookstore.

Arriving at a store named Flourish and Blotts they took out Alex’s supply list and stepped inside.

A young girl that appeared to be the same age as Alex with red hair was searching for her school books.

“Hey ginny! Since you and my friend alex are starting your first year at hogwarts can you help him find his books?” Harry asked.

Ginny looked up at harry and blushed nervously saying “Yes! Harry!” making her look more beautiful than she already was.

“Ok i’ll be going then I have to find my books” Harry smiled but as he was about to leave a handsome guy with golden hair came out and started talking about himself and his new books he had just released this year.

All the girls and a few men were drawn in by his charisma. Alex, Ginny and Harry went to go see the commotion but while they were moving through the crowd Harry spotted the Weasley family and Hermione, They deicided their way up to them.

“Hey Ron, Hey Mr. and Mrs. Weasley!! Hey Hermione” Harry shouted. The weasley family Turned around and greeted back.

Alex observed them one by one they all had red hair the same as Ginny he guessed they were all from the same family. But when he glanced at Hermione, Alex saw a beautiful brown haired girl maybe the only one who could be her equal in terms of beauty was Ginny.

Hermione caught Alex glancing at him and smiled at him.

“This is my friend Alex, we've been friends for a while now." Harry stated proudly. He was proud that he had a loyal friend like Alex who had made his stay at The Dursleys bearable playing together when they had the chance.

“Come lokk quickly, Gilderoy lockhart is talking.” Mrs. Weasley said as she turning quickly to look at Gilderoy Lockhart not wanting to miss anything he said.

So this man is Gilderoy lockhart ? Alex thought to himself.

Harry walked up front to get a better view but as if Gilderoy Lockhart was scanning the room for more people to draw in he spotted harry.

He told harry to get up and gave him a copy of all his books signed with his name.

As Alex, Harry, Hermione and the Weasleys were heading out a two blond wizard came down from the second floor of the book store and started berating the Weasley’s and Harry.

“Leave Harry alone Malfoy” Ginny Gashed her teeth.

“Looks like you got a new girlfriend harry" the wizard named malfoy grimaced.

The taller wizard stepped up to ginny and picked up her books and boldly stated “Look Draco, all the weasleys can afford are these used books” he put the books down.

Alex noticed something peculia, he saw the wizard put an extra book so he stepped up and took the book that malfoy had clumped together with the other books and stated “ I don't know who you are but since you have some malicious intent to my friend Harry's friends then you're no friend of mine. Since you're giving this book to ginny here ginny take this money so you can buy new book in return for this gift that Draco Malfoys dad was so kind enough to gift to you”.

Alex took out some money and handed it to Ginny while Malfoy's dad face twisted in anger.

“I can’t take that! Just take the book” Ginny embarrassingly refused.

“Come Draco we need to leave” understanding his plan had been thwarted by a boy who looked no older than 10 he decided to retreat.

“Thanks for the book” alex added salt to the wounds as the blond wizards left .”Who were those guys?” Alex followed questioning harry.

Harry replied with an angry expression “They're Lucius and Draco Malfoy they think that that pure blood wizards are better than everyone else they are just too...”

“We need to hurry to the train” Mrs. Weasley hastley said inturupting Harry's explanation.
