《Unprecedented》Chapter 3

"So how's still working as an assistant after so long now? " I asked, one weekend at her house.

"Don't you get tired and the flying?"

My Aunt works as an assistant on private planes. She's been working as assistant since my dad was alive. She travels, almost all over the world.

Her crystal brown eyes shoned. "It's still a dream! It honestly couldn't get anymore exciting than this." She laughed.

We sat at the coffee table which was filled with all types of paper. We had done a bit of catching up then she stood up.

"I'm gonna go get us some snacks. Could you clear up those paperwork for me?" She said. I

"Sure."

Immediately I got to work. A few minutes had passed as I chucked up the papers when my eyes caught a glimpse of my dad's name on a worn out looking piece of paper. I set the piles at the side of me and took up the paperwork.

It was an autopsy. It wasn't just any autopsy... It was my father's.

My hands shook slightly. I quickly scanned the paper from top to bottom. I sank to the floor, utterly shocked at what I just read.

He's alive? Daddy's alive? He's actually alive...? After all these years?

Why would he do this? I don't get it.

I took my phone out of my pocket, shaking slightly I snapped some pictures of the document. My mind was flooded with thoughts. How could he do this? Why did he do this?

Suddenly I heard a door closing. I immediately composed myself and began stacking the papers with a distracted mind.
