《Obey Me! I am the Master!》CHAPTER XII - THE POWER OF THE PACTS

At the motel,
Monday evening
Minoru could not suppress his worry and anxiety. One moment he was walking back and forth, the next he sat with Mammon.
"Can you just stay in one place? You're making my head spinning!" Mammon shouted.
"Mammon, Minoru's worried about his family. It's normal to do something to let out the anxiety." Beelzebub said before he went to the refrigerator and took out some food.
"Here, Minoru, eat this!" Beel gave Minoru an apple he took from the fridge.
Minoru intended to refuse as he was in no mood of eating, but see Beel's innocent face changed that. He took the apple from Beel and began eating. After a bite, surprisingly, he did feel better.
"Thanks, Beel! I'm better now."
"Glad I was able to help...munch...munch...munch."
"Hey, I'm your first, Minoru. I should be the one who makes you feel better."
"Mammon, shut up! Your words are so misleading!"
Zap...zap...zap
Suddenly, there was the sound of lightning and Mammon's mouth was sealed, he could not speak anymore.
"Um...um...um..." Mammon tried to speak but couldn't.
"It's the pact. A demon can't speak if the master tells him to be silent." Beel told Mammon.
"Um...um...um..." Mammon protested (probably).
(The pact! But I thought that was an in-game thing...But the fact that the brothers were able to come to the real world and stand right before me right now...)
Crazy thoughts ran freely in Minoru's head. He had put aside the question how his lovers inside a game could come to the real world far too long and treated the brothers (and Little D. No. 2) being with him like a normal thing or a given.
(Could this be a dream? All of it!? What if I'm in a coma!?)

"Minoru, are you ok?" Little D. No. 2 asked.
Minoru did not answer but pinched his own cheeks. Yeah, he pinched both cheeks as he treated both equally.
"Woah! Why did you suddenly pinch your cheeks?" (No. 2)
"It...hurts. This is not a dream." Minoru mumbled.
"Minoru, are you sick?" Beel asked with a worried face.
"Beel, exercise with me!" (Minoru)
"Huh!" (Beel)
"Woah!" (No. 2)
"Um...um...um..." (Mammon)
Realizing that his words were also very misleading, Minoru immediately fixed immediately.
"I meant...carrying me and run around the motel yard...uh, what I'm saying is..."
Zap...zap...zap
Beelzebub immediately carried Minoru and ran around the motel non-stop.
(Ahhhhh...this is real!) Minoru thought as his head was spinning while Beel began his 10th round of running around the motel.
At Minoru's house in St. Anne's Town
POLICE LINE DO NOT CROSS
But no police line could stop 2 demons using magic to get inside the house without being detected.
"Huh...this is..." (Satan)
Lucifer did not say anything as Satan showed him some spider silk left on the ground.
"It is not natural spider silk. It's synthetic. However, it can function like natural spider silk." (Satan)
"Synthetic..." (Lucifer)
"Does this synthetic silk remind you of something?" (Satan)
"Not the silk, but the synthetic part. The chameleon monster I destroyed before called itself 'Synthetic Chameleon'." (Lucifer)
"...There's a high chance that the same organization captured Ms. Takahashi." (Satan)
"Lead me to your master!" Lucifer simply casted a spell and ordered.
After receiving the order, the silk floated and flied away. Lucifer and Satan followed it closely.
Because of the connection between the disappearing of Minoru's mom case and the cultist case, officers Yoko and Giichi had been dispatched to aid the police in St. Anne's Town and add the disappearing case into the cultist case's files.

"Huh!?"
"What is it, Giichi?" Yoko asked.
"I just saw two men dashing through that alleyway." Giichi answered.
Yoko looked out of the window but did not see anything.
"Maybe it was your imagination."
"Yeah, maybe because I'm so tired from the drive here."
(Why do I have the feeling that one of the man look similar to the guy named Lucifer I met back at the police station.) Giichi thought.

Wisdom And Wolf
When I was twenty one I bought my first motorcycle. My only motorcycle. A Harley Davidson XLX, Sportster. Her name is Rohdindae, it comes from the Silmarillion and loosely translates to Horse of the Silent Shadows. This two wheeled mare, of iron and steel, was my sole means of transportation for almost 5 years. Rain, sleet, snow, or hundred degree heat, it didn't matter, I was in the saddle. We went all over this side of the Mississippi together. To places long forgotten by progress or filled to their capacity with humanity. Interesting word humanity, it means all off human kind in one definition, generosity and compassion in another. How often these two definitions are at bitter odds with the other, is something to be seen. These words are a mash up. Tales of the road. The people I met, stories I listened to, and the loves I saw grow, all find themselves here, mixed within these pages. From Maine to Mobile and all the places in between, where people still, somehow, cling on to the good fight. The only fight worth fighting.
