I waited and waited in the blizzard.
My breath was like soft puffs of clouds, distracting me before vanishing into the frigid air.
I listened carefully, but did not hear a sound.
The atmosphere was freezing, and I was feeling very cold by the second.
why was i waiting for so long
why was i waiting at all
Something was wrong.
Something is wrong.
I coughed and bleakly stared at the area around me, covered in snow and ice.
my eyes were growing tired, and my bones bore a great ache
why was i so tired?
where am i going?
Something IS wrong.
i fell to my knees, weak from exhaustion and a gnawing pain in my chest
gasping, my face slammed into the ground and
a prickling sensation in my face
a tightness by my heart
something is wrong

So, if you have been reading already, Jericho has been removed. It's been brought to my attention that his chapters detract from the flow of the narrative. They still exist, and are still going to be made available at some point in some way shape or form, but for the time being what happens with him and the king in Puissant city will be off camera so to speak.

After being forced into working for a group of ragtag outcasts with questionable morals, Eric finds that life in this fantasy world is a whole lot more work than he originally thought.
