Chapter 7 - A Bar and Inn
Ramiel ate at the newly opened Inn. He tried paying for the services, but the proprietress merely smiled and let him eat. Ramiel would love to say his thanks, or get out of this place. But the owner would stop him in his track, brought in more food. He wondered what she was trying to do, and finally when she was done cooking. She took a spot in front of him, lean on the table with a smile on her face.
"You are all healed now, your face isn't that bad. I could use a server for my new Inn." she said. "Of course you probably don't understand me judging by that look on your face. Hm, you ain't half bad looking, and with you eating a lot without knowing the price, you are in debt to me now."
"?"
Ramiel literally have no idea what she means. In his ears, all he can hear is a mix of Italian, German. He doesn't know how to comprehend her words. There a bits of English words that comes out of her mouth, but Ramiel thinks it probably has a different meaning.
"You really don't understand me. Let's see..."
The silver haired woman tap her head first. Then she pointed at her face with her right hand, while her left palm were down her chin.
"Felli...Felli."
"Felli?"
Ramiel spoke and pointed at her again. Felli nodded her head while pointing at her chest, repeating the word Felli. It is her name, and she wants to introduce herself. Ramiel got what she is trying to do, so he pointed at himself, and said.
"Ramiel."
Felli understood that quite well since she knew that he imitating her.
"Rammel?"
Ramiel shook his head.

"RA-MI-EL"
"Ramiel, got it." she smiled.
Ramie nodded his head in delight. For the first time in this world, someone actually bothered to know his name. He finds it a new experience, although it still irritates him that he doesn't know the language here. It's not like the people here speak his language, so there is that.
Silence immediately came in after that short exchanged of name. Felli scrambled her thoughts, and stood up. She then pointed at the table, and said the words that would correspond with the table. Following that, she mimicked actions of wiping the table, arranging the chairs, bringing the plates. She pointed at Ramiel, and down to the ground.
Ramiel understood that. The actions of the woman seem to imply that he needs to clean up the restaurant. So he stood up, and started cleaning only for the woman to stop her. She then gestured a pillow, and even more actions that suggests that Ramiel should work here.
It took Ramiel quite a time before he fully understood what she wanted. He immediately agreed to it, since a job in something warm would be very helpful to him. Not to mention that outside is already snowing a lot, it has gotten cold.
"Ramiel." she gestured him to follow her.
Ramiel nodded his head and followed her upstairs, then went to the right, pass the storage room and then to the attic of the Inn. Felli showed him around and implied that this is his place. Ramiel nodded his head in thanks, and finally stared at Felli.
"What?" she said.
Ramiel felt that was the word for 'what' so he continued staring while showing confusion. Felli felt that he would like an explanation but found it hard to just say that she is pretty much asking someone to work for her, with such low wages. She is really tight on money at the moment, so what is better way to get some waiter for her business than some above average looking beggar that could be used?

She felt bad using him like this but even so.
She really has no choice at the moment.
As a frugal person, she likes compromising. And besides, she is offering a beggar to stay in this warm place, so in the sense it is a lot better than staying outside the cold.
In Ramiel’s case it feels like he was being rewarded. Although he feels that this woman who gives him bread sometimes in the streets is just using him. He looked at the bright side of things and thought that this much better than what he is used to. He can live within this attic.
But what makes him a bit troubled here is that how much trouble he is probably going to cost with being unable to even speak the language of the land. Maybe he could pick some words here while working but is going to take a while before he learns some words.
Felli was done here so she looked at Ramiel. She gestured that she was leaving, and Ramiel nodded his head. So she left the attic, went back to the bar of her Inn, and cleaned up the place.
Well that worked out better than I expected. I guess he isn’t really that dumb. Just unable to speak our native tongue here, maybe I can teach him bits by bits, she thought.
She managed to ‘hire’ someone to work for her. But even so, she felt that this might just work out. As long as she makes gestures that Ramiel could understand. She might be able to communicate with him. Felli felt pride at her wits. So something like this compared to traveling around the continent, earning money while outsmarting bandits, nobles and assassins is much easier.
She was once a caravan master. But since the day her caravan got annihilated in the middle parts of the continent. She felt that traveling around is no longer applicable to her. So here she is, buying a new building, furnished it in order to start a comfortable life managing an Inn and a Bar.
It is a lot safer. And she specifically chooses this town ever since she heard the news that it is slowly turning to a city. So seeing the opportunity, she built up an Inn, to ride the riches of this town.

From Ninja to Pirate
Life can be difficult, hard and painful. Who am I kidding? Most of you probably have already experienced first-hand, all the difficulties, hardships and pains in life that I talk of, so rather than listen to me teach the lessons on how you should stay strong and look forward to the good things, I think you'd much rather prefer me to just get on with my story, and that's exactly what I'll do.My name was Uzumaki Naruto. I was a genin of the hidden village of the leaves, and the team-mate of Uchiha Sasuke and Haruno Sakura. My parents were the Fourth Hokage and the Jinchuuriki of the nine-tailed fox before me, and I was what people called, a failure. But now, the story has reversed. No more failure. No more Naruto. No more ninja.I am Akagami D. Natsuki, a girl who challenges the world, in the era of pirates! All credits go to Oda Eiichiro and Kishimoto Masashi for writing One Piece and Naruto. This is a fanfiction I wrote for my own pleasure. Please don't judge it too harshly... I have checked for spelling and grammar mistakes, but just in case there is the occasional mistake, please comment on it, rather than insult me. From personal experience, I have seen people insulting my grammar, with a comment akin to:"Cant u even spell 'mom' correctly? It's 'mom' not 'mum' you idiot!!!" So, please, don't insult me like that... It really ruins my day, which might have already been awful... Also, I apologise if they get really overpowered, or sound really arrogant... I don't mean it that way, but that's how it is read, so I'm sorry before hand. Well done for making it this far, and thank you for reading. noelicoan.
