"This is crazy," Axel said, as he scrolled throught the Freedom Fantasy's Forums.
"The Goddess is dead, and people are falling into a coma," Lost put his hands on his face, "is there nothing I can do?"
He looked at a framed photo of his family.
"I can't let your game be ruined like this."
He got up from his seat.
"I'll need to find out more."
He logged into Freedom Fantasy.
***
He spawned at the area near the Canaan guild, as he was shocked by Joshua's statement the previous day, he didn't feel like playing Freedom Fantasy much, so he logged out nearby.
"So it's true, that people are going into a coma.."
He felt sad, that the game was slowly turning into a state of dystopia. He then remembered why he logged in in the first place and shook the emotion away.
He checked his inventory.
'Since I don't want to reveal my hidden class, I shouldn't use those skills for a while.'
Lying in his inventory was one weapon.
Lost Elf's Bow +6 Rare Weapon
Ranged Bow
Damage 85-106
Speed 3.00
A bow once wielded by an elf lost in the woods. The bow is created through magic, with several types of wood as the materials. It also acts as a guide, should you be lost.
Effects:
+19 Agility
+28 Stamina
Durability 103/105
When equipping this weapon, a small minimap will appear in your vision.
It's like fate, as his previous class was an archer. Seeing a bow made him happy.
"Lost Elf's Bow.."
"More like Lost's Elf Bow am I right?"
Lost laughed at his own joke. Soon he became embarassed of himself.
"*cough* I've run out of arrows."
"Is there any shops nearby?"
Lost looked at the small minimap that appeared because of the weapon's effect.

"What am I going to do..," a woman of short stature complained, "I'm not going to make ends meet."

She sighed.
She was an immigrant that had just recently opened a store in the Holy Kingdom, but unlike the usual crowded place the kingdom was, there was almost nobody that came to buy her goods. She was at the brink of bankruptcy.
"Why are there so little customers these days.."
"Um, excuse me, does this shop sell arrows?" A man with black hair entered the store she was keeping.
She jumped in relief.
"Yes we do!"
"In that case, I'll take all of them," Lost said, as he sighed in relief. He looked everywhere, but very few shops sold arrows.
This was because bow users are rare in Freedom Fantasy, as you needed to aim properly to play well with a bow. Unlike swords, where you could braindead—a slang created by players that meant "not thinking much"—your way into victory.
Lost then bought all kinds of arrows. 100 of normal arrows, and 10 of each variant—of which burn, freeze, and electric arrows were in stock.
She was stunned. She suffered for days, as she waited for customers. But at the moment, her arrows were about to be sold out. It was as if all of her pain went away, if only for a moment.
"Do you have a archery range?"
"Pardon?"
"Do you have a target range? Y'know, to test out these arrows?"
She was stunned once more. Ever since she opened the shop, no one had asked her this, as they would just come and go. But the man in front of him had so much passion for archery that he asked for the archery range,
Of course, this was all just her speculation. As for Lost, it was just habit to use the range. It was something he had picked up from the game 'Knives'n'Bullets', in which he visited the shooting range often.
"Yes we do!"
'Is that her catchphrase?'
After paying for the arrows, which decreased Lost's money by half, the woman led Lost into a room in the back of the store, which was an archery range.
"*whistle* It's bigger than I thought." Lost said as he looked around.
In fact, the archery range was twice as big as the store itself.
"Yes it do!"
Lost grabbed a bow from his inventory. It was the Lost Elf's Bow.
'..That bow!' The woman's eye widened as her gaze landed on Lost's bow, 'could it be?'
Lost relaxed his shoulders.
He pulled the string of the bow, as he kept it the center.
He brought his index finger to the corner of his mouth.
He breathed in.
He breathed out.
He let go of the arrow.
It flew like a bullet, piercing through the target like a bull running towards a matador's cape.
"Bullseye," the woman said in awe.
'A-amazing!'
"Hey, you."
"Huh?" Lost turned his head towards the woman.
"That bow.. where did you get it?"
Sweat started to appear on Lost's forehead.
"Oh! Um.."
'Fuck.'
"Yes?"
"I just.. got it, from.. someone."
"I see..."
'Could he be.. him?'
Suddenly, knocking was heard from the front door.
"Hey lady, it's time to pay up!"
"Open up, or we're going to break this door open!"
Multiple voices were heard from outside the door.
"Hngh! They're here."
"Who are they?"
"Loan sharks," the woman said, "tomorrow, this shop will be gone..."
"How come?"
"You don't need to know, it's none of your business."
"..."
Bang!

The door was kicked open.
A group of people rushed on the store's wooden floors.
"If you can't pay up, then you have to pay with your life, little lady."
"The deadline is one more week, get lost!"
"Look here lady, we need the money now," the leader spoke, "either give it, or perish." He pointed a sword at the woman. The sword was white and shiny.
"This is illegal!" The lady said, pulling out an axe, "I won't let you get away with this!"
"An axe, what are you gonna do with it, cut wood?" One of the loan sharks said.
"You really think you can defeat us, old hag?"
The woman gritted her teeth together, when a hand showed itself in front of her. It was Lost.
"It's okay," Lost said gently.
"And who's this?"
"I thought you Holy Knights were looking for player's souls," Lost said, "Why are you bullying an NPC?"
"How did you-?"
"You'd better leave, you do know collecting debt like this is illegal, right?"
"Tch! Shut up!"
"And if I don't want to?"
"Then, we'll make you!" The leader of the group grabbed his spear, "get him!"
Multiple members of the group charged in with their weapons.
The first one wielded a sword which had been buffed. The swordsman swung his sword.
"One more soul for the goddess!"
Swoosh swoosh!
Lost dodged it all. He then took out an arrow from his inventory. It was an electric arrow.
"Speed Burst."
Lost used the skill on his hand, to stab the enemy in a fraction of a second.
Kzzrrt!
It pierced through the swordsman's neck. The arrow made the player stunned.
[You have equipped the characteristic 'Black Iron Body'.]
He only covered his arm with the characteristic. He punched the swordsman in the face, knocking him out. Black iron conducts electricity well, so Lost's punch had an electric damage to it.
"Aargh!"
"Zake!" Two members screamed as they rushed in to save their friend.
One wielded and axe and the other, a magician.
The axe wielder charged in first, swinging his axe in rage.
"Hraahh! Take this!"
'If I take that hit, I'll die instantly!'
"Speed Burst."
Lost jumped in the air.
"I knew you would to that!" The magician said as he readied a fireball spell, "die!"
'Tch, I can't dodge this one.'
Lost pulled out his bow, and loaded an electric arrow on it. He shot the fireball with the arrow, which caused an explosion.
The explosion created a mist of smoke around the store, which Lost was grateful for. It allowed him to be more free in using his skills.
Lost was going to fall. To avoid fall damage, he equipped the wings he had gotten recently. He then immediately unequipped it to avoid being seen.
"Where is he?!" The man who wielded an axe said, swinging his head left and right.
"You should be swinging that axe, moron," Lost's voice was heard somewhere in the smoke.
"Come out you littl-"
Two arrows were then planted on the axe wielder's forehead. It was of the burn and electricity variant. The explosion that ensued caused his head to blow up, turning him into white light.
"Damnit!" The magician said, as she spammed her offense spells all over the room.
"Aim properly, dumbass," she heard voice from her back.
Lost stabbed her with a burn arrow, and grabbed her face with his ravenous arm.
"Blood Gnaw."
"Aaaaaarhhh!"
He did it multiple times, and soon she turned into white light.
"Now.. who's next?"
"You coward!" A member shouted.
"Guess it's you."
As luck would have it, they were standing in a circle.
'What a good time to test out my new skill.'
A black grenade appeared in Lost's hand, and he threw it in the middle of the circle.
Boom!
It exploded after a couple seconds. They all turned into white light.
"How dare you!" Zake, the swordsman who got knocked out earlier swung his sword from behind Lost.
'How did he-'
Lost blocked the sword with his now black-iron-covered arm.
Clang!
It made a loud, metallic sound. He deflected the sword to the side with his arm, and with his other, he grabbed Zake's face.
"Blood Gnaw."
A similar scene happened, and soon Zake too, turned into white light.
"Alright, now only you left, Mr. Leader."
"You little-!"
The leader's name was Zaccheus, the leader of the Jericho squad of the Holy Knights. The group's purpose to collect tax and debt. However, what Zaccheus has been doing was more extortion rather than collection. He had gotten away with it every single time as well, this was the first time someone foiled his plans. Even more irritating, was that half of his members had been wiped out.
"Y-you better stay away, I'm warning you!"
'Huh?'
"Not 'I'll kill you'?"
"Hngh!"
"You.. you're scared, aren't you?"
Zaccheus started to sweat.
"What a coward," Lost walked slowly towards Zaccheus, "after saying you'll make her perish, you won't even attack?"
"S-stay back!"
"If you won't attack," Lost said, "then I will."
He ran towards Zaccheus.
"Hngh! Light Slash!" After activating the skill, Zaccheus' sword turned black.
'A corrupted skill?'
Zaccheus hesitated as he swung his sword.Lost used evaded the slash easily. He then elbowed Zaccheus hand. The weakened hand then let go of the sword.
"You're not even worth a quote."
Lost planted a sticky bomb on Zaccheus. With 'Black Iron Body' and 'Speed Burst', he then punched him with all his might.
Zaccheus flew outside, and soon blew up. In the end he too, turned into white light.
There was now one more problem.
'The sword!'
Even though the player died, the corrupted spell remained. Black spots appeared on the floor
'Damnit! What should I do?'
He then thought of an idea.
'Please work!'
He planted his ravenous arm straight towards the black spots.
"Greater Devour!"
His ravenous arm grew and devoured the corrupted black spots. He started to hear loud screeching an unearthly voices. His arms felt like it was being torn apart by blades. He started to kneel on the floor, as his legs felt like it was hammered by rocks.
"ArghH!!!"
It was the first time he ever felt pain using the skill, he was unfamiliar with the pain.
[You have obtained the characteristic '[email protected]#(?'.]
Lost panted in pain.
'That hurt like hell, what the hell?'
[email protected]#(!? Characteristic
_!*#([email protected]%&!*@#&_!(#&_!(#!E#@#)([email protected])#[email protected]# [email protected])$$?!#@>>>?}O{>?<>?%^#">[email protected]>??
'What in the world..?'
While Lost was lost at the sight of a corrupted text, the woman he was protecting spoke.
"Wings of a dove, fangs of the blood wolves, speed of the killer rabbits."
"Huh?"
'How did she figure that out?'
"You wield the power of the beasts, do you not?"
"And what if I do?"
The woman opened her mouth.
"Netherborne, an apocalypse will strike the land
Only then, a man will take a stand
The bow of the lost elf, the power of beasts on his command
Young is he, to start a story so grand
Objects of power, more that he could withstand
Undefeated, the forces of evil will disband"
"I think it's you, the one mentioned in this prophecy."
Lost just stood there, frozen.

# The Gemstone of Ominium 2 - Pain
Her unfazed expression didn’t even waver when the blade of her thin sword pierced one of the men all the way through armor, flesh and bone, a gurgling sound bubbling from his throat. With a kick she mercilessly pushed him back, freeing her blade, and glanced down at his dead body sprawled at her feet, confirming that death had indeed taken him. Stepping over the dead man’s body as if it were a mere pebble on her path, she raised her head just in time to see her second attacker lunge at her and, nimbly turning on her heels, she slit his throat. A spray of hot, sticky blood hit her left cheek and slid down her neck, but she didn’t even blink. The scent of the fresh blood filled her nostrils and her brain like an inebriating drug and she stepped forward once again, lightly turning to one side to avoid being decapitated and quickly returning the favor. One by one the men kept falling as she advanced, victims of her lethal, almost mechanical movements, as if she’d been born with a sword in hand and ready to kill …* This is a direct continuation of Book 1 - Denial. You CANNOT start reading Book 2 without reading Book 1, since the story won't make any sense! Enjoy ^_^*

Poems
This is a book of some poems I've written recently. Some are about me, some are about books, and some are about something else entirely. Either way, I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoyed writing them.
