《The Oddity: The One Who Does Not Belong》Original Setting (No Spoilers)

The original setting for The Oddity was supposed to be set in a world more advanced than ours today. Rainen, who was unnamed before, used to go from school to school while his master trained him.
Ellar, who also didn't have a name, was supposed to have short brown hair and be Rainen's partner for a tag team tournament in the school.
Ellar didn't want to be partners with Rainen because she didn't think that he would be able to keep up with her.
By that time, he was already part of the group. Rainen would, after school, go around the city and stop crime. He was also defeated by Carlyle and then forced to join the group, this happened before he started school.
Rainen had no problem killing but would refrain as the police would come after him. He was not supposed to be an official member. He was a very stoic person during school and very serious when he went out as the thirteenth. His master was the only one that he talked to in a familiar way.
Rainen in the original was also supposed to save Axel from a beating and then they became friends. The headmaster had no part in it, he wasn't even interested in Rainen before he went berserk. Axel was more timid than he is now.
The group, which I will call the twelve, were agents for the government and they had guns in their arsenal. Iris and Elis did not exist in the original. Ellar was a cold isolated girl who had no friends and grew up in a martial arts family but was far more talented in magic.
Rainen originally used the black sword a lot but it seemed strange for a futuristic setting. There were groups different from the twelve, they were also agents but weren't as powerful as the twelve.

A detective from the police department was supposed to be looking for Rainen as he was a vigilante. Carlyle didn't register Rainen as a government agent as they needed to be put into a database in case they went rogue.
There was no such thing as a adventurer's guild and Aisha, Rainen's sister, went to a school in the city and had no magic. Other races did not exist in the original setting.
I changed it into a fantasy setting as it gave me more room for freedom and it let me take the characters in a different direction. Also allowed for a more colorful world as the futuristic city would mostly be dark and gloomy.
