《Earth Elemental Reincarnation》Landslide

I was a normal person living a normal life, and I was content with that.
I always had a fascination with nature since I was 9 and my dad started taking me to this quaint park near our old house. we would often get hotdogs at a nearby vendor and feed some pieces of the bread to the ducks in the small pond at the center of the park. My Dad and me have always been very close, and even closer since my mom died, though that was a long time ago.
I recently got a pay raise, and to celebrate I decide to treat myself and go on a hike. I chose a nearby small mountain. As I walked I took in my surroundings. It was so peaceful, the only things I could hear was the soft breeze blowing, the delicate rustle of leaves, the occasional bird song cutting through the silence, and the sound of my feet crushing the dry leaves that lay strewn across the ground. The trees swayed slowly in the wind and occasionally released gold, orange or red leaves which were promptly snatched away by the breeze and sent in a meandering flight across the pale blue sky. the sun bleeded through the leaves of some of the trees lighting them up like chrimas trees. It was a picturesque scene to behold. I took a deep breath to savor the fresh earthy scent of nature that surrounded me. This was bliss and nothing could change that.
I heard a loud booming rumble and felt the ground shake beneath my feet. I tore my eyes from the trees and looked up the mountain. While this mountain was not particularly steep it was by no means flat either. I saw a massive black and brown swirling mass barreling down the hill. It was at least 12 feet tall and was extremely wide and sounded like living rolling thunder as it roared. It was not far away maybe a couple hundred feet. I stood there frozen in shock for a moment and saw it rise up like a giant beast open maw to swallow me whole. In my panic I turned and started to run but it was futile. I was hit in the back by this angry mass and it felt like I got hit by a car and almost blacked out immediately from the impact as my vision swimed, I was swallowed up and everything went black as earth filled my vision blinding me. I was buryed alive under tons upon tons of dirt.

I could hardly breath and I felt like I was being crushed, I was being crushed. I could not see or hear anything but my heart's thundering and rapid beating, THUMP THUMP THUMP. My mouth was filled with dirt, I confirmed that dirt tastes like shit, I wanted to spit it out but I was not able to. I wanted to scream but I could barely muster a pathetic squeak. Though even if I could scream it would not make a difference. My whole body ached and I could barely move at all. 'help me, someone anyone' but deep down I knew no one would help me. 'no no no no no no no I can't die I'm still young, I barely got to live and now I have to die. Why' .
I don't know how long I spent down there smothered in darkness and alone. I did many things. I begged god then when that did not work I cursed god. I tried to think of a way to escape, but I came up blank, I don't think it's even possible to escape from this. 'wait I still have my phone' I wiggled around and made enough space for my arm to reach my phone. The screen was badly cracked now but it still worked, but no dice. it had no reception. I was starting to get light headed now and my escape attempts had degraded to desperately clawing at the dirt and rocks until my fingers started to bleed and my nails cracked. All my energy was leaving my body and I accepted my fate. As I lay there I thought about my life, what I had done and what I could have done. I had a normal boring life. I was not starving by any means but I was never near the top. I was always the follower, never the leader. I was weak. To weak to save myself now, to weak to lead, to weak to succeed, to weak to protect what I love, I could not save my mom. So weak I had to grovel and suck up to my crummy a-hole of a boss to get this raise. And to weak to be remembered after I died. Only my dad and my few friends would even know I died. But I did not leave anything behind for them to remember me by. No achievements. No creations. No ideas. No success. No story's. No impact. Nothing. Just a faint image of a normal office worker who liked to hike and eat crab. That's it. Before being on death's door I did not care about leaving a legacy, maybe I though I would do something big tommorow, but when I woke up tommorrow I did not do anything I just told myself I would do something big tommorow, and so on. But now that there will be no tommorrow I relised my mistake. And now I realized I was unsatisfied with my life. But it was to late now.

I would like another chance, a chance to do more, become a legend, someone who would be remembered. When someone asked who made a difference? I could say I made a difference. It was getting hard to think and I knew my time was soon up. Before I lost consciousness I made one last request, a plea, to who this request was made, im not sure, god? Anyone that can hear me right know would do, if anyone can hear me. 'please, I want another chance at life, to do things differently, and leave a mark on the world, to be strong, I wont let people take whats mine, and I will make my own path, submiting to no one along the way' . Slowly my senses faded and my vision went to black I suddenly felt very cold and It got harder and harder to think, my train of thought slowing before it pulled into the final station. Grinding to a halt. I could no longer form a thought. I was gone, like a candle blown out by the shifting winds of life.
