Feng Yun had not been idle during the 5 years that he had decided to pause his cultivation. Because his body was too weak to even handle the Tempered Body Second Layer, the qi wildly thrashed about in his dantian and continued to get wilder. Somehow, his body's blood surpressed it for some time but it would soon come back later. Therefore, Yun had decides to strengthen his body while he was at it in order to stabilize his control of the qi energy. It was slow at first but he had 5 years to train. He would be fine. Plus, he had a dragon divine beast lineage. He would naturally be talented at body strengthening. Normally, the best way to stabilize your power after having multiple breakthroughs was to kill beasts and absorb their essence so that it calmed the storm however Yun was too young and he would never be able to come up with an excuse to go. Therefore, Yun had to do 10 times the amount of body strengthening he usually does. 10 times his FATHER'S TRAINING. It by itself was already hell but for the sake of cultuvation, Yun had tossed all thoughts of giving up away and solely focused on training. He did this for five years and began cultivating again only six months ago. What he didn't know was that a faint sillouette sat in a tree, cross-legged staring at the boy in awe. The man had a white beard and a beaded necklace, his eyebrows raised and his eyes giving off a vibrant color. This was precisely Feng Lei, Yun's grandfather. Yun never noticed him but Lei had been watching him since Ling Qian told him about his fluency in language.
This boy, truly...has exceeded my expectations. And he isn't even 6 years old when he gets his spirit yet. Oh that reminds me, in 6 months, he should be getting his spirit. Hmmm, that will be interesting, Lei thought. It should be a wind spirit, or a lightning spirit. A dragon spirit? The possibilities are endless.

He never could have prepared himself for the shocking revelation he would receive on the day.
All the children born from the Cludscale sect and Tyrant Thunder God Dragon clan would gather together in the spirit awakening ceremony and awaken their spirits. That spirit would stay with them for the rest of their lives. Yun was desperately cultivating for this day. He regained the ability to cultivate six months ago and had resumed it, a bit more careful this time. He didn't get excited like he was before. Now, he closed his eyes and scrunched up his eyes in concentration, a strand of his long raven purple black hair sliding onto his face. He looked very handsome even as a five year old due to his constant training and cultivation successes, his face had become bright and charming and adorable like a five year old but the physique of a ten year old. He was about 4 feet in height which was quite tall for a five year old. Back to his cultivation. Yun was drawing in power from the universe as the image in his mind became clearer and clearer and clearer. He felt like he had been induced with incredible amounts of vigor and it felt refreshing. The universe inside his head began rotating a bit slowly but still rotating. It was gradually getting faster. The countless bright stars in the picture seemed to fly across space extremely fast and kept getting faster. The consciousness of his mind started emitting a bright light and his beautiful gold and silver eyes radiated with light. Suddenly, a bust of fresh qi refilled his body, making him feel as if he had been upgraded tremendously in strength. Tempered Body 3rd layer. For a five year old, this should absolutely impossible for human but the method that Feng Yun trained in was the Universal Bindings cultivation method. It defied heavens will.

"Phew. It took me six months after a long time of noncultivation but I finally made it. Normally, people start cultivating after they get their spirit but I'm already doing it. Hopefully no one notices."
Yun didn't want to tell his family about his current level of strength because if he told them, that meant that they would become suspicious and watch him thoroughly not giving him time to be alone. He also didn't want his family to be targeted by people that could possibly want Yun eliminated.
It would take some time to cultivate till the 4th layer so might as well just go to the library and learn stuff. I can't be too greedy otherwise it will harm me if I continue to cultivate like a mad man, he thought.
When he entered through the doors of the library, he was immediately greeted by the librarian looking up from her job of sorting out books to smile at him. Feng Yun walked up to her and asked her a question.
"Where can I find the books pertaining to spirits?," I said with curiosity.
"As a matter of fact, I had them prepared especially for you because of your celebration in six months. They detail everything that is known about spirits and some of the more powerful ones." She looks at me beaming knowing that I'm going to do great things in life so she spares her attention on me. I felt very happy and picked up the stack of books without any difficulty and carried them over To a table. He opened the page of one and began to read. Over the course of a few hours, he began to learn more about the spirits and their abilities. Spirits, companions that you gained since six years old would accompany you for the rest of your life. Spirits could range from weapons, to beasts and organic beings, to divine abilities. Weapon spirits took the form of a weapon, beast spiritslet you possess the abilities of a certain beast. Each spirit had a maximum of 10 tiers that could allow you to unlock special offensive or defensive special abilities. Tiers were gained by killing beasts. You could only kill two beasts per realm. The ninth and tenth tiers were only acheieved if a sovereign level expert killed a sovereign level beast and took its essence. However, there had only been one sovereign in the entire history of the entire continent. . Once you killed a beast you would absorb essence and it would give you a special ability. If you had two or three spirits, then it would be 20 and 30 tiers. But these were incredibly rare. Spirits had their own elemental trait. There were 7 elements:Fire, water, lightning, wind, earth, light, and darkness. Spirits could have one or multiple attributes to use abilities in. Yun found that particularly interesting. All of the spirits of the Hundred Stars Adjudicator had reached the eighth tier. Yun yawned and realized he had been reading for a long time. He took the book with him and went back to his room and muttered to himself. I will get stronger, stronger than anyone alse. With these spirits, my goals will be fulfilled.

My Failed Reincarnation as a Demon’s Prisoner
When Kayn opened his eyes in the empty void, he was met with a familiar voice and the knowledge that he was neither dead nor alive and about to be reincarnated. What he didn't expect was to reappear in the world of the living and immediately get captured by a clan of demons, now living as their prisoner. After a lucky encounter, Kayn stumbles upon a room that could possibly give him what he needs to free himself from their captivity. But, as he soon finds out, escaping from the demon queen herself isn't the easiest of tasks... **DISCLAIMER**This story attempts to be quite comedic (I don't know if I'm doing a great job at it) and will be more comedy heavy at the start than later on. As the situations Kayn finds himself in become more grave, the story will become serious and less comedy oriented. There will always be comedy throughout, but at some point I do plan on shifting the focus. I'd love to hear everyones opinion on whether the comedy should be kept in full, or dialed back a little so the plot can take centre stage more often. Happy reading!
