《The Aether Universe》Chapter 63

"L-level 50? There's no way. You know how the dungeon levels work, right?" Marie asked Tai.
"Yeah. Multiply the dungeon level by 10 and you get the levels of the monsters in the dungeon which means level 50 would have level 500 monsters. The only one close to that level is Anna and she's still far from it," Lili added.
Tai laughed. "Don't worry about it. Now come on, let's go in."
Even if Tai was very strong, they still had doubts. After all, the highest level they reached was level 32 and even the monsters were posing a problem even with their perfect teamwork.
"Don't worry guys. Believe in my brother," Anna said, reassuring the group, although she too had doubts. She didn't doubt that Tai could handle himself just fine, but what about her friends? Ambushes are frequent in the higher levels of the dungeon as smarter and more intelligent monsters start appearing more frequently. She just hoped that no one would get hurt.
The group approached the dungeon entrance, and members of the group started disappearing as they entered the dungeon.
"Tai, join my party since this is your first time in this dungeon," Anna said, sending Tai an invite. "I'll invite Fenrir too."
Anna Zenith has invited you to her party
Would you like to join?
YES NO
Tai and Fenrir simultaneously accepted the invite, joining Anna's party.
"Alright, I joined. What happens now?"
"Easy, I'll go into the dungeon, and then another prompt will pop up. Ok, see you inside!" Anna said, entering the dungeon.
Party Leader: Anna Zenith has entered a dungeon
Would you like to enter the dungeon?
YES NO
Tai and Fenrir pressed yes, and were taken inside the dungeon. Nagi didn't need a party invite since he was technically an item, being a sentient weapon.

The group was waiting for Tai and Fenrir when they appeared.
"Alright, get in formation!" Anna yelled out.
Leroy stood in front of the group, his big shield in front of him. Grisha stood beside Leroy, his sword in his hand, prepared for any monsters that were looking to fight.
Lili left the group. She was an assassin and thus, perfect for a scout. Her job was to alert the group of any dangers or of anything she found that might be valuable. She also had the important job of finding the portal to the next level.
Marie and Anna were at the back of the formation. They would serve as ranged attackers, and Tai had no doubt that they were good at that. In the middle of the group was where the healer, Joan, was. Being a healer, she couldn't afford to be injured or attacked, so she was nestled in the middle of the formation, safe from most attacks.
The formation was nice and all, but Tai had a different plan. "Stop! I don't like this formation."
Anna tilted her head, looking at Tai. "Why not? It's gotten us this far."
"This formation isn't bad, but if we're trying to get to level 50 of the dungeon, then this won't work. First off, we're getting into semi-high level territory and monsters aren't dumb here. I'm sure you guys have met primitive monster civilizations, right?"
"Yeah, but what does that matter?" Joan asked.
"They're going to attack the weakest link in the formation and that's the healer."
"I'd like to see them try when I'm here," Leroy said.
"I'd like to see YOU try defending against 100 monsters fighting at once."
"So what do you suggest then?" Anna asked.
"Something simple. Just follow me. In the future, when I'm not here, you guys will have to raise your levels though," Tai said bluntly.

Tai walked in front of the formation and led the way as they looked for the portal.
The group followed behind Tai, although they still stayed in formation. Fenrir was at the back of the group. He would handle any attacks from the rear.
As they walked, Lili came back with news, breathing heavily. "Get ready! There's a monster coming here and it's a big one!"
Tai nodded. "No worries. I'll deal with-"
Fenrir cut him off as he stood in front of Tai. "Master, I'll deal with it. I can also show you how strong I've gotten."
"Hmm, alright then."
After a few seconds of waiting for the monster to arrive, the ground rumbled, shaking with each step from the monster's footsteps. In front of Fenrir, a giant bipedal tiger stood in front of him.
"Tsk, I hate cats," Fenrir said as black flames started coming out of his eyes and mouth. Cracks appeared on his arms, legs, and parts of his body with black flames coming out of them.
The tiger swung its claws at Fenrir's chest, generating a gust of wind from the speed of the attack, but Fenrir just smiled as his drool leaked onto the ground.
"You'll be a nice meal for today." Fenrir grabbed the tiger's arm just as its claws were about to hit him and with a loud snap, broke the tiger's arm and ripped it off the tiger's body.
The tiger, now with only one arm, tried to run as it realised its mistake. It was no match for Fenrir and he wasn't even using his full power.
"Try to run..." Fenrir said, laughing a bit as black chains that were made out of flames wrapped around the tiger.
The chains burned the tiger, effectively cooking the tiger alive as Fenrir threw the tiger's arm that he ripped off into his mouth. With the tiger chained up and even being cooked alive to be eaten, Fenrir grabbed the chain and dragged the tiger towards him and increased the temperature of the chains, killing the tiger.
