"That's 1 mission down." Heading back to the city, Tai wanted to end the day off on a good note as it was getting pretty late. When he entered the city, Tai went to the guild to collect his reward, getting a few looks as he was covered in fresh blood.

Deciding to get some new clothes, Tai went to a clothing shop owned by the system. There, he was greeted by a robot.

"Hello, customer. What would you like?" the robot asked.

"How much is a black hoodie and black sweatpants? Also some boxers."

"Altogether the cost is 100 AC, but if you want the auto-cleaning function, it'll be 150 AC."

The auto-cleaning function interested Tai as he didn't like washing his clothes, so it was a small investment that would pay off in the long run, but 150 AC from his total 243 AC was a big sum.

"I'll get it." Tai paid the 150 AC and the clothes that he had bought appeared in front of him. They looked pretty nice and touching the fabric, they were also soft and seemed comfortable. Going to the side and into a changing room, Tai changed into his new clothes.

Tai looked at the mirror in front of him. During these past few days, Tai had changed a lot. His hair was slightly longer because of his endurance, he was now taller by an inch, making him 6'4", Tai came from a mixed family so he was dark, but lighter because of his mixed background.

Getting out of the clothing shop, Tai went shopping for a place to stay. He wanted a place that was cheap, and close to the guild for convenience, and the good thing was, there was a building beside the guild exactly like that, but it wasn't exactly cheap as everything the system owns is overpriced.

Entering the building, he was once again greeted by a robot. Tai wanted to get this over with as soon as possible so he spoke first. "What's your cheapest room?"

The robot pulsed blue hearing his question. "Our cheapest room is 75 AC a day, or you can pay 1920 AC a month for a discount."

Tai shook his head. "No thanks, I'll pay 75 AC a day."

Paying the 75 AC, the robot showed him to a teleporter that would teleport him to his room. The room, being the cheapest option, wasn't exactly the best. It didn't even have anything to cook with, not even an oven. The only thing the room had was a bed, bathroom, and a small storage compartment.

"Ahhh, finally. I hope the shower is at least good." Tai took off his clothes and hopped into the shower, turning on the hot water. Feeling the relaxing hot water hit and bounced off of him, Tai let out a sigh as he closed his eyes.

A nice and hot shower was the best after a long day, Tai thought.

After a few minutes, Tai hopped out of the shower and dried himself using a towel. After brushing his teeth, he went to sleep as he was quite tired and his leg was sore from walking all day.

Tai woke up early the next morning, groaning as he stretched. Putting his clothes on, he went out to eat some food and noticed that there were more people appearing in the city.

Finding a food shop, Tai ordered 1 pancake for 10 AC. Tai would've wanted more, but he simply didn't have enough money, so he would need to work extra hard today. Quickly finishing the pancake, Tai went to the adventurer's guild and instead of accepting only one mission, Tai accepted 10 missions that all paid over 200 AC.

This was Tai's new cycle. Wake up, eat, work, eat, sleep, and repeat. Tai did this day after day as he slowly rose up the leaderboard, approaching the level 100 milestone.

On the 5th day of Tai being in the city, he would be considered pretty wealthy compared to other people. He had around 10,000 AC and he was also level 99 now with his new status and skill list.

Today would be a chill day for Tai. He had already completed 10 missions today and now he wants to reach level 100 and do his trial. Standing in an empty field, Tai was holding his naginata, but he wasn't actively using it to balance. During these past few days, Tai's Ki Construct had leveled up, allowing him to make more complex structures, and he made a prosthetic leg.

The prosthetic leg wasn't perfect, but it did the job. Twirling the naginata around, Tai channeled his ki into it and started swinging it around with each swing releasing an energy wave.

As Tai practiced with his ki, he found out that the possibilities were endless. It seemed as though as long as Tai channeled enough ki into something, he could destroy the world in one stroke, but right now, he was far from that level. He had to learn the basics, and really learn ki.

As he continued to practice, he finally broke through, his Ki Manipulation reaching a new level.
