Achievement get! [Species Discoverer]: The creator of a new species, the discovery of an unknown or modified existing species or simply the first to name it. {You have recieved [100 DP] as a reward}{As the owner of the species, you have recieved [2 Evolution Seeds] as a reward}
I like the sound of that! It contains the word evolution, so it should be good right? Evolution=Good. Sooooo. Haiya!
Evolution Seeds can only be used on max level monsters
I see. Of course there couldn't be something so broken as that right? But then agian, its only 10 levels and some of them are even completed. Hmmmm, I think I'll hold on to these seeds. Now, let the grind fest commence!

Yahho my pets, I have once again subjected myself to another 2 weeks of crippling boredom for your sakes you know. Alrighty. Wind up and review my progress for a second. Firstly, the mana synthesising larva have taken up new characteristics. Two of them have evolved to be more efficient in their mana synthesis. Evolving a whole separate system for mana purification, these 2 larvae are now the purest source of mana in the entire dungeon. Even their feces are valuable, since all the excess purified mana they create gets excreted. This allowed for the ability of the plants to be ranked up to tier II, [Vakiosysnthesis II]. Oh, before I continue, here is the description for skills, abilites and ranks.
Abilities: The inherent ability of a creature, monster, or any other living thing(exeptions exist). Abilities are passive in nature and are mostly active all the time or will activate when conditions are met. One is capable of aquiring an ability either though evolution or mutation or by reaching a state where one is similar to possesing the ability. This triggers the mana in the body which allows for the ability to surface. Having an abillity to do an action will always be superior to one where abilities are absent(exeptions exist). [Eg. By regularly ingesting small amounts of poison and surviving one can eventually acquire the [Poison Resistance] ability, which allows one to be able to resist poisons to a certain degree.] Skills: The skill a creature, monster or any other living things posses(exeptions exist). Skills are active in nature and most require the user to consiously use them in order to benefit from the skills effects. One is capable of acquiring a skill either through evolution or mutation or by executing an action which is similar to that of the skill. This triggers the mana in the body which allows for the skill to surface. Having a skill to do an action will always be superior to one where skills are absent(exeptions exist). Some skills require mana to activate. [Eg. By swinging a sword many many times such that every strike becomes a powerful blow without fail one can eventually acquire the [Slash] skill which allows for an empowered blow that is faster and stronger.] Skills posses cooldowns but it can become 0. Rank{Ability, Skill}: The rank of an ability or skill. A rank up, while not uncommon, is difficult to achieve. Through continuos use of the skill or ability, a breakthrough or an external catalyst, the skill or ability is capable of "ranking up". The rank up of a skill or ability will result in a far more capable version of their skill or ability, in which the difference cannot be compared. The ranks of the skill or ability comes in Tiers. The lowest at Tier 1 and the highest varies from skill to skill, though the most common value is X(10). The difficulty to rank up also increases exponentially the higher Tier the skill is, making rank ups more and more unlikely the more advanced the skill is. Also, the skill or ability is capable of changing into a far more capable version of their current skill, called a "class up". [More information will be given when conditions are met]

There you have it. Which is why I am so elated. The mana-purifying larva, which I have decided to call Managots, acted as a catalyst for a much needed ability rank up. Think of them like a living battery. Now my plants, my Vakiolum are now invincible! With only mana, they shall conquer the wooorld! I mean, ahem, that is indeed a nice ability. The rest of the mana-synthesising larva have instead opted for a different option. Tunneling. As they say, if you can't find a solution just run away from it right?... ... Right? Somebody please agree..anyone... Fine, anyways, I have decided to call them the Larvarcks, who are capable tunnelers who dig far and wide in search of an area with high mana density to stay. They are still slower than a snail when digging though...
Next up! 4 of the plant eating larva have almost reached max level, plateuing at level 8. I have no idea why it is happening but they are getting no experience points anymore from eating the plants. Hmph! I will resolve this issue you know. I will find a solution! Mark my words! Still, they have grown to a fairly enormous size(relatively), about 5-7cm long(A.N.: 2-3 inch). I feel like they pack quite the puch. I don't think anyone will not tremble at the sight of a 6cm long pale milk coloured maggot looking larva crawling so slowly towards them.
Now the last guy.... He has got to be my favourite. He has never grown much ever since he hatched, and was fairly weak and lost out on all the good feeding spots. Somehow, he did not change into a mana-synthesiser which intrigues me. I wonder if there is any reason for it..... Either way, he has now utilised his size to his advantage! Yeah, you guessed it, he is my first parasite! Oh, I actually don't know if its really a he or not, I'm just guessing. Small size, a mouthpart circular in nature with rows upon rows of teeth, designed to latch onto his host. Then, he just simply sucks sustenece from there. I have no idea why the other larva also don't really care about him as well. Just the perfect life you could have.

Then suddenly a strong violent push suddenly slammed into my face. Or whatever my face was. "Who the hell was that?" Of course, it is always at these moments that regrets surface because right now...there is a tunnel from my cave that lead directly to an ants' nest. And not just any ants' nest.
A dungeon.

The Legend of Ghost
This is a quick novella origin story to one of fan-favorite characters in the ZERO universe, Sam Dobbs, a.k.a. Slade Gardner, a.k.a. the Ghost. I wrote it for current ZERO series fans, after many insistent, fervent, teary-eyed demands. Still, I think it pretty much works as a stand-alone, so I'll post it here. (He gets the name Ghost later, not as part of this story...this is just the why he decided to do what he did, being slightly insane and all.) Lots of easter eggs for current fans. 15k words total, chapters will be approx. 2.5k each. Oh, and if you get turned off by crazy, hyperintelligent antisocials being crazy, hyperintelligent antisocials, this isn't the story for you. ;)

A Portal Fantasy Comedy Poem
Mix an adolescent shepherd boy in love with a girl who wants to meet existentialists, a Viscount in need of an adventure, and a bland psychic. Add in a flippant god. Put them in a land made up of the after-lives of various different cultures. Stir gently. Sprinkle in some random Midgard Serpent, Genghis Khan, Scheherazade, and a cussing mocking bird. Fry lightly. Season to taste and serve with desired garnishes. Bon apetit! A comic fantasy poetic epic, filled with misfits, slapstick routines, light romance, people shouting out the names of their battle skills before using them, old philosopher dudes running around naked, a very serious lamb, demonic knitting, battery operated magic swords and even more traumatising stuff! I experimented with different styles in the beginning and finally settled on an ABABBCBC rhyme scheme (Give me your 0.5s. Gimme, gimme, gimme. I'm collecting them, seriously)
