Storm Cove
Founded 12 years ago. Just after the colony convoy was attacked a gigantic storm appeared, trying to flee the storm the convoy ducked into what a first glance looked like a wide river inlet between cliffs, it opened up to a wide cove with deep waters. With three sides covered by high cliffs, the expedition decided that this was a great place to make the first settlement.
Quickly using magic to make a road up onto the cliffs, and dismantling some of the damaged ships for materials a town was built quickly. The cove was converted to a massive harbor with two more convoys of settlers showing up in the first year. After that immigration to the town slowed down with only a handful of people arriving n each trade ship.
These days the town has two distinct areas. The port where the rougher crowd stays with the road up topside now sporting a big gate and gatehouse that is usually closed after dark.
Topside is where ninety percent of the town is with a population somewhere between three and four thousand depending on the time of year with most of the hunters sheltering in town in the two rainy months. The lands near the town are not well suited for regular agriculture with only a small band of grassland that quickly turns into jungle and marches. Most of the food gets brought in by hunters and fruit gatherers as the nearby jungle has an overabundance of fruit trees. This combined with preservation spells and access to the guild means there has never been a food shortage to date.
There are only three structures of note in town.
The guildhall and boarding school being counted as one structure is the main center of activity in town as about half its residents are either retired or current adventurers. As tradition the guild master and matron did away with their given names after being appointed to the position, just being referred to by their titles.

The second structure is the Beacon, the name of the lighthouse at the entrance to the cove. A big archway was constructed between the cliffs at the entrance and a lighthouse was built on top of that arch. There are also a set of alcoves with braziers set up about twenty feet of the ground all along the inside face of the two cliffs so that captains are able to easily discern the patch through even on a moonless night.
The third and final structure is the town hall. The town council is made up of the retired ship captains from the first convoy that had to give up their damaged ships.
They only need to deal with trade and small disputes, as the combination of a high independent streak and a big presence of adventurers who police their own means that the size of the town guard is much smaller than what you would expect of a town this size.
Because of the jungle and marches exploration, inland is going slowly. There are tribes of feral orcs further to the north whose borders seemingly stop at one of the many rivers going through the jungle. Speculation is that the river itself holds some significance to them, making them refuse to cross it.
The only other known piece of civilization on the continent is Storm Cove’s sister city Maidens Rest. About 50 miles up the coast.

Real Fake World
An original fiction of the Isekai sort, people being sent to another world. I go back in time and send my whole classroom into the other world, as heroes, it might be overly biased and not make a lot of sense in a few parts, I wrote it in a hurry long ago, so enjoy, 1 chapter per day.

Cardinal of Sin
They say sin comes at a horrible price. Or...perhaps I'm misremembering the saying. Regardless, I'm usually inclined to agree with the aforementioned statement. When one is held hostage by their own carnal instincts; never being able to fully control their primitive impulses...Well, let's just say, it would destroy a lesser man. That, I know. I died because of my lack of self-control, after all. I must admit, though. I didn't expect to change this belief of mine after meeting my end, but here I am. Breathing. In a world I don't belong; a world of magic. Here I am, whisked into another reality with the power to sin. To conquer.
