《The RoyalRoad Experience》Chapter Six: Should've Dropped It

My legs make a rattling sound on the laptop's keyboard. My stats may have been revoked, but in the words of... somebody, I'm not done yet!
Totally Not A Spider was taken. Ok Im A Spider was taken. In a fit of rage I tried Angry Spider, but that too was taken!! What sort of lunatic picks Angry Spider for their name!?
Anyway, I finally settled on AntarcticSpood and got back to writing. The board remains at zero across the board, and I've got work to do! My stats won't raise themselves!
Furiously tapping the keys, I finish the first chapter and hit the Submit button, folding my legs in satisfaction. It may have taken me four hours, but after a long day's work and a crapload of hemolymph, sweat, and tears poured into it, I have before me a full six hundred words of content. Enough to sate any reader's booklust!
And it's even pretty good! Looking back on my earlier fictions, I have to admit that they were a little unpolished, but it's nothing a bit of reading can't fix! My three biggest problems were punctuation tenses and randomly switching from first person, to third and those were easy to solve
After a moment, Eddie realized that the page his laptop was open to hadn't changed, and he investigated the issue. Evidently he hadn't clicked enough tabs.
Well, that wouldn't do. He selected a few at random - they couldn't be that important, right? - and hit Submit again.
This time, it goes through, and he leans back in satisfaction. Let the praise flow in.

A Hardness of Minds
(35 Chapters >70,000 words, edited version available on Amazon) A Near-Future Hard Sci-Fi about Data, War, and First Contact in our Solar System. Life exists under Europa’s ice, but there’s doubt in the data. Against of backdrop of escalating tensions, double-sided revelations of first contact ripple through all involved as the probe attempts the first landing on the ice of Europa. The novel intertwines perspectives of Earth and under Europa as all struggle for truth. For fifteen years, the Europa Clipper has hinted at life under the ice-shell of Europa. An eccentric mogul, bent on expanding his legacy—funds and launches the first privately funded probe to Jupiter. The robotic submarine can reach the ocean floor and returning by an expertly trained AI. Tensions flare between the United States and China, while cyberattack threatens the project. Meanwhile, Dalton, a self-sabotaging synthetic data engineer, longs to make a name for himself in the scientific community, even at the cost of being infamous. Unknown to Earth, alien society has penetrated up the kilometers of ice, and has long researched ‘Nullworld,’ the mysterious ‘ether’ beyond the ice from which no sonar returns. Tensions in their global society have escalated as their city-state fights with a neighbor whose hydrothermal vent has run cold. Now the military caste is in control, halted all research, and pressed capable scientists and engineers into militia service. The alien scientist must escape and bring back research he hopes will diffuse tensions: the revelation of another water world. This is the second hard sci-fi novel by author Eric Kay (No Lack of Sunshine). It explores issues of data integrity in the age of adversarial information warfare, moving minds away from the brink of war, and experience versus knowledge by proxy.

Debts Come Due!
As a child orphand in the war and left with no one I was taken in by the church and trained to be a paladin. My father being a warlock and mother being a witch left me with only two things. The first is the name of a succubus that only asks that in life you do as you will but serve her forever in death. The second was the good sense to question everything that is ever said and never take 'because I said so' as a reason to do anything. After my training was done I could not stay at the church which had forced this fate on me nor could I turn my back on those that needed help and do nothing so I decided to become an adventure and go were I pleased helping whoever I wished on my way. What will my destiny become and where will I go from here.

Reborn into the RWBY World with a Small Cheat
This is my first story so please don't be mean (I don't mind critisism but some people are mean just to be mean). Also I want to make this interactive with readers (so I know people are reading) so please give me some feedback. The mc, a guy named Finn Pherb, just died geting run over by a truck (like nearly every other reincarnator). He thought his life was over, but it was just beginning. He gets reborn into the world of RWBY that's the same but different (in other words I'm ignoring the show so I can write a story that isn't to depressing) and with a little cheat.
