Chapter 19: The World in Different Eyes
Teo was elated! He finally felt the void pulse!
He could even feel the aura when they were clustered together.
He slowly opened his eyes.
Sight Sound Smell and Touch immediately came back into his senses.
He could feel that the air around his hand was a little thicker than the rest. He was still able to feel the aura, although faintly, he could still feel it and whats more is that he didn't even need to concentrate as hard as before.
He moved the void stone in his hand and the aura slowly followed it. He threw the stone up in the air and he could still sense the aura but it was slightly weaker. Once he caught the stone, he placed it in the bag, and the aura was almost invisible. When he peaked inside the bag, he found out that the aura was stronger within an enclosed space.
He was extremely happy. It was a huge advancement; it was the watershed, once he passed it, then it would be easier to make more progress. As a pure generalist all he needed to do was to get to the Sensing stage and advance in understanding the elemental energy.
'Gathering Stage? Movement Stage? Manipulation Stage? who needs those? HA!'
He was practically almost done! he praised himself as if he was the most talented person alive?
'Could this be my hidden talent? Everyone said it would take years to even start feeling the elemental pulse but now I can even feel the aura it produces! In your face world!'
After some time he finally calmed down. He knew his previous thoughts just came from himself being so happy. Bragging and being confident to yourself shouldn't have any harm. He knew that probable reason why he could advanced so quickly was this mysterious inner world.
He quickly popped out a different stone in his bag. The sense of euphoria within his mind still lingered from his previous accomplishments that he forgot all about taking his revenge. It was like the feeling he felt when he read a good book. This feeling made him want to sense all the other kinds of elements!

....
After a long time had passed, Teo who was still trying to sense other elements was interrupted by a voice in his head
"Kid, are you planning on skipping classes?"
'Skipping classes??' Teo thought, 'but I should have only been here maybe 5 hours'
He quickly left the underground room. He ran through the rock garden carefully and then jumped into the pond.
-SPLASH-
He quickly got out his cave and saw that it was early morning. Yesterday when he arrived at home it was a little past the afternoon. How can it suddenly turned morning?
Teo was too caught up into sensing other elemental pulses that he lost track of time. Within the inner world, he had no perception of time. It was always daylight within the world, and even if it did change, he was underground the whole time!
He quickly ran back inside and started to change. He was still wearing that robe and mask he wore yesterday. While he was changing he felt hungry. After not eating dinner yesterday his stomach was growling ferociously. He bandaged himself in a haste, grabbed some dried piece of fruit on the table and quickly ran towards where he usually met with Windle and Lia
....
"Sorry I'm late" he said while he panted
"Teo, you are so late. We thought you were planning on skipping" Lia smiled
"Sorry I overslept" As he said that his stomach growled -growl-
"Ha ha looks like you are hungry as well" Windle laughed. Took out a few pieces of dried meat and gave it to Teo
"Here you can eat this on the way, lets hurry"
"Thanks"
"Don't mention it"
As Teo was eating the meat on his way to class, he noticed something odd about Windle
'Fire aura!'. His eyes widen as he could feel that fire elemental energy was gathering around Windle's body
Lia saw that Teo was strangely staring at Windle and asked "What's wrong Teo?"
Windle heard it and he saw Teo staring at him "Hm?"

Hearing Lia's question and seeing Windle looking at him, he said "Windle did you advanced to Gathering stage already?"
"Oh? You can feel it? thats great! you've successfully gotten to the Sensing stage! By the way, yeah I got to the Gathering stage last night"
"Teo you advanced to the Sensing stage?" Lia asked
Even though Lia was not an elementalists, they often talked stuff about class with her. She had the basic understanding of each stages.
"Yeah last night too, its why I overslept"
"Ha ha, you should've come to our usual spot last night. Lia and I were waiting for you. She actually helped me advanced"
"Help you advanced?" Teo asked
"I just gave him some tips that my seniors at the Martial faction gave me" Lia responded
"Maybe Lia can help you advanced to the Gathering stage too. The Martial faction have some exercises that helps people control their Qi. Is really helpful and they have a similar stage for gathering Qi"
....
After the first class, Teo and Windle headed to their elementalists class
During the a few classes before, the majority of the class was still practicing the Sensing stage exercises. Dina would gave small guidance to students who seemed to be having trouble. Sometimes she would lecture on a specific element for the whole class, while other times she would give a lecture to a single student as others continue to feel the elements.
As both of them arrived, Teo could instantly feel other students that had already advanced into the Gathering stage and was gathering elemental energy.
Teo could only sense 4 elements so far. After being able to sense the void elemental energy, he learned to sense fire, wind, and finally light. Sensing fire and wind energies was a lot easier than when he was learning how to sense the void. Sensing light energy was a little harder than fire and wind energies, but it was still easier than sensing void energy.
They sat down in their usual spots, he glanced at his targets briefly but quickly shifted his gaze away from them.
When Dina came, instead of asking everyone to continue with their Sensing exercises she said "I see that most of you are all in the Gathering stage already"
She was using her Qi to sense the other energies that were floating about. Within the class of 27 students, only 2 of them were still in the Sensing stage. One was Grifford, the generalists and the other was Teo, the pure generalist
This was the normal pace of progression with their attributes. She expected that Grifford should enter the Sensing stage within 6 months, if you account for how many elements he had, he would finish 30 months, around 2 years and a half and that is only entering the stage, as for mastering it, it was still ways off. With his growth potential, he should somewhat master and understand it by the time he became a 6th year student
As for Teo would be lucky if entered the sensing stage within 2 years. Mastering the sensing stage and understanding a single element would probably take 6 years. Since Teo had 10 elemental attributes, if he wanted to completely master the sensing stage and understand all his elemental attributes it would take 80 years.
A human's life span was not longer than 120 years. Maybe if he was a cultivator he could extend his life by a bit, but becoming a cultivator was much harder than mastering the Sensing stages for all 10 of his elemental attributes.
After 2 years, he will learn combat training. If he wants to give up being an elementalist and become a cultivator, it will be then he could choose to switch.
Dina couldn't afford to hold back the class for the 2 students that would take years to progress, she had to move on to nurture the other students that had move pass the Sensing stage.

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14
