"How did your hair get so long by the way?" Li Rou’s mother threw a concerned gaze towards Li Rou. She was afraid that Li Rou’s ridiculously long hair would get caught on objects. Furthermore, she was certain that Li Rou’s hair had never grown long enough to cover her face.

"It has always been this long! I have no clue what you’re talking about." Li Rou quickly responded as she averted her eyes from her mother’s gaze.

"Mhmm. whatever, you’re at that age I guess." Li Rou’s mother shrugged her shoulders and started walking towards the kitchen to properly store the groceries.

"Just make sure you go to Tsinghua University tomorrow morning! And don’t be late!" Li Rou’s mother gave a last reminder as she focused on putting the groceries aside.

Li Rou gave a slight nod and remained seated as she assessed her current situation. She truly had been given a second chance by the system. Having had lived through her university life once, Li Rou was definitely going to make the most out of the chance she was given.

"This system is divine!" Li Rou gratefully praised the system in her mind as she stopped ruminating her previous university life.

Apart from academic concerns , Li Rou also had socializing problems. Once, Li Rou had a crush on the class’s pretty boy. When her other classmates noticed that, a group of fangirls formed by girls all over the campus began to ostracize her. They cussed and threatened Li Rou in an attempt to force Li Rou to distance herself from her crush.

To top it all off, Li Rou’s crush had insulted her flat chest and called her ugly and disgusting openly during class. One could say that Li Rou’s fragile heart was crushed by her crush. As a result of that interaction happening in public, the bullying intensified as it was an ‘okay’ sign from the idol that every girl in the class revered.

Ultimately, with Li Rou’s grade falling below Tsinghua’s minimum requirements she was expelled. In addition, the constant bullying she had received over the course of her university studies, drove her to the point of depression.

In school, Li Rou sat in the cafeteria as she waited for the student orientation to start. While waiting, she took out of all of the lesson materials from her bag and briefly flipped through them. As she went through the materials, Li Rou recalled most of the content she had gone through during lessons. From lectures to tests and exams, Li Rou already had a basic grasp of the concepts.

This time, she was definitely going to ace all the exams while barely putting in any effort.
