El is able to kill the wolf; missing a crossbow bolt and getting bit before using the sickle to slash its throat.
From the fight, El suffers three damage. A minor wound, but if not properly taken care of could fester. He cleans the wound at the well and then wraps it with the cloth he has on hand.
