So maybe the first chapter was long...here you guys go! Last release of the day!
===============================
“Okay, guys, you can go about your business. Red Amigo, I want you and the other Amigos to oversee the Skeletons as laborers. Reese, I want you, the Phantom, and the Specter to take the Revenants and guard the community. Ogre, I want you to take the Shadow, Fallen, Chance, and David to patrol. You can set up different parties using the other Humans as well, but discuss it with them first.”
“Don’t mean to be rude, Boss, but the name’s Brandon, mate.”
“Sorry about that, Brandon.”
“No need to worry aboot it, Boss. Me and mah boys have goat it.”
“Alright…hmm? I got an alert?”
On my monitor, the little menu button at the top right had a red exclamation point. I dropped the menu and saw the Units had something to tell me. I opened the tab and saw that the minions were divided by their tasks and showed their stress levels! With this, I could find my minions jobs that they enjoy!
“Now that you are getting the hang of this, we will move on to the Domain.”
I click on the Domain tab that was right there on the screen. My guess was that it was really important to have its own quick tab. When it opened, I saw what looked like the Radar, but less green. It was more like Google Maps. It showed the Area under my control. Apparently, all the surrounding buildings counted as mine.
I even owned the farm land and such. I had a list with a lot of information, and on it had things like wood, stone, and metal. I had started off with one hundred units of each, although I don’t know the measurements without pulling them out of my inventory.
There was a list of people who were currently in my Area. Hmm, that sounded like important info, too.
“Indeed. First is an Area, which would hold several hundred people. Not very big. The next is a Region. These usually hold more than several hundreds of thousands.”

“Wait, so it’s not relative to the size of the land?”
“Nope, it relies on the people living within. Japan has tons of Regions and so they had tons of people with Abilities. It didn’t take but one day for someone to become a Noble, but he’s alive.
Speaking of other Regions, in another two weeks or so, the State Broadcast will air. In another couple months, the Country Broadcast will air.
Let’s say it like this. A Region Broadcast airs once a day. A State Broadcast compares all the Regions within this State once a month. A Country Broadcast will air once every three months and will have all the States within it. Then there’s the Continental Broadcast which airs twice a year. If you hadn’t put two and two together, this will hold all the Countries within it. And finally there’s the Global Broadcast which will air once a year.”
“Wow. So it’s like the Top 10? Or like the original broadcasts?”
“Both. It alerts others to possible worldly dangers that no one managed to stop fast enough. Mostly, they’ll be marine life that ate a lot of other creatures.”
“Dang. That’s all well and good, but I wanted to know about the other people.”
“Oh.”
She acts really innocent. It creates a weird gap with her appearance, though.
“Ahem. This list contains the information of all the people currently in your Domain. This will allow you to see them and plan for their attacks. Or, you can see their feelings towards you.”
“This is like that Radar function.”
“That’s like a shortcut. This allows you to see more in depth information. Alright, let’s go outside!”
“Really? I just got comfortable.”
“Boohoo. Let’s go.”
We were standing beside the unused buildings down the street. Navi was on my shoulder while the Amigos were standing off to the side wearing construction equipment. They even had tool belts and hard hats.
“So this is the system’s doing?”

“Yep. These guys are your designated builders and craftsmen. Your Contractor is Red Amigo.”
“Okay. So I just tap this building on the monitor and select destroy?”
“Yep. Have at it.”
I click the button and soon a strange yellow tape surrounded the area and only the Amigos could enter. They began tearing it apart with vigor and a bar appeared over the building both on the monitor and in real life displaying the time remaining.
“You can even use GP to speed up the process.”
“No. I’m not wasting these things for such a petty reason. These GP can be a life saver, I’m not going to be impatient.”
“Good. Since you put all three Amigos on the job, it shouldn’t take that long to complete. When they are done, the Skeletons will come remove the debris and clean the area. The debris will automatically be turned into resources and be deposited into your Inventory.
Over here, let’s build some walls to protect your people.”
“Okay.”
I follow Navi’s flying figure and stop on the street passed the houses being used by the community. I select the basic wall function, which was a wooden fence about six feet tall, and see that I have to set the size. Thankfully, Navi helped.
“Okay, walk over there.”
“Now walk over there.”
“Okay, good. The area is set. Now whenever the Amigos are done, they will begin working on the wall.”
I walk back to my house while trying to remember all the things I just learned. This wasn’t just a monitor that looked like a smart phone, it practically was a smart phone!
“Yep, you can even call people. But you need to be friends, first.”
“Oh yeah, that was a function, too.”
“Indeed. So go to the search button and type the person’s name. Then you just click on the right person that shows up. You can narrow your search to people within a certain area.”
I set the area to the community and send everyone friend requests with a select all. I wonder if I could do that with everyone on the planet.
“Nope, you need to be Level 10. As of right now, you can become friends with everyone in a Region, but if you do, those people will be able to find you pretty easy.”
“Alrighty then. I will make sure to only befriend those who work for me.”
“Then why did you send the Humans friend requests?!”
“…Because…reasons.”
A little smack sound was heard as Navi face palmed again. Shut up! I was lazy. I didn’t want to go through each and every person!
Oh? Rebecca is nearby!
“Rebecca! Over here!”
Eh? Why is she leaving? Is she really conscious about her appearance? Or maybe she still feels awkward about me finding out about her husband and son? I sure as hell hope that it isn’t about having sex.
“Just leave her be, for now.”
“Alright.”
I must have looked pretty sad because Lucy came up to me and said hello.
“Hey, Lucy. What’s up?”
“Nothing much. Grandpa Spot has been teaching me how to use a bow!”
“Wow! Man, I suck at using the bow. Couldn’t focus.”
“Hehehe, I am really good! Even when I mess up, a sudden gust of wind makes the arrow hit the bullseye!”
Wow. That’s a dangerous Ability. Why does she look like she wants a pat on the head?
“Because she does. It’s okay, you’re not a zombie anymore, just an Undead. You won’t infect her.”
“Cool.”
I pat Lucy’s head and congratulate her as she blinds me with her smile. She skips back to Spot and I wave at him before walking back home. I then got the alert saying the Amigos finished with the house and were working on the wall.
Wow, they’re efficient.
“That’s because they were construction workers to begin with.”
“Eh? Really?”
“Yep~! I’m hungry!”
“Yeah, right. I just woke up about two hours ago,”
Gghlarghaburgle
Uhh…I guess she’s hungry. Let’s go have some mac and cheese!

The Yes-Mage
Plenty of people have stopped and asked what it'd be like to simply have everything, and Sylvain Henry Camille Johansson was no different. He was a man who had a lot of things going on, with a name that'd make a supervillain blush and a family who'd make even the useless of their rank into someone important. It was a shame, then, that he was slapped with a dreadfully unfortunate condition that kept him from living up to any of those already low expectations. Stuck living a life where magic is everywhere while he's left working with nothing more than a moderate intellect, a little bit of whatever influence he could get from his family, and a lifetime's practice at making himself the ideal subordinate for his bosses' boss, Vane was still beating the odds and slowly working his way up in the world. When the cunning yes-man finally got a chance to really make a name for himself, he leapt at the offer, taking his first real step onto a road he knew he was always meant to walk. His goal? Nothing less than finding out why he and too many other unfortunate souls are barred from the wonderful world of the higher energies, and with any luck, fixing it. Of course, life has a knack for interfering in even the humblest of plans, and Vane's lofty ideals were anything but humble; he was practically a walking bullseye for disaster. The funny thing about catastrophe, though, is that nobody can ever say what form it's going to take. That’s why, when it all went wrong for Vane, he'd gotten everything he'd ever wanted foisted onto him, and Everything else, too. Watch as a man so used to saying 'yes' to everyone above him finds himself stuck with the power to make reality itself say it back.
