《The Tragic Tale of a Zombie Survivalist》Noobie Bandit Killer

It looks like I managed to take Wallace’s skill, which was named Puppeteer. I looked at the footage of Wallace fighting the bounty zombie, and noticed he sacrificed some of his men to do it. No small wonder. He was a coward.
I decided to harvest the leftover zombie carcasses and try to study them. I won’t have to worry about another zombie breakout since…you know…I'm...
Anyways, I walked inside with jars filled with organs, brains, and blood and set them off to the side inside my locked cabinet. Scratch knows how to open them, after all. Don’t want her to be turned.
I began to work out a plan to gather the things to generate a source of electricity and go over it for the rest of the day. It was already time for the broadcast before I finished.
The little girl I saved was awarded the Luckiest Player Award, but it showed a zombie killing another zombie. Me killing Wallace. Now they have to believe her.
On the zombie broadcast, which happened right after the other, showed three different zombies, one of which was me.
I’ve shown up three times in two days. If these humans had brains, they would have realized I was the guy who appeared yesterday and killed Wallace today. I wonder how they’re taking it.
But on the zombie broadcast, I was awarded the title of Heroic Zombie. I didn’t get another skill, but I did have new stuff under status. Apparently, I now had a slow regeneration. I could see that my body was repairing itself to my almost original appearance.
This was good. The other two zombies were actually regular zombies that were awarded a bounty. Does this mean I could get in on the bounties? Make some new titles or gain a new skill. That would be cool.
Thanks to the zombification, I no longer need to drink, sleep, or go to the shitter. I checked the bars and noticed the previously empty bars were changed. Fatigue was still empty, as was thirst, but hunger had almost filled up to half! I was right. A full bar is a bad bar! Well, except for stamina bars, health bars, alcoholic bars, and other such bars…

I tried eating some of the food I had, but none of it tasted good. Surely my mac and cheese will still taste good…
YES! I still love cheese! HAHA! And it even reduces my hunger! Time to steal some noodles and…wait…I can just add that to my grocery list.
I spent a couple more moments going over my plan. One can never be too careful during the zombie apocalypse, after all. I got on my scooter and carried the extra battery with me. They were both fully charged already, so I could travel for about 4 hours.
I first decided to head to the nearest grocery store. Not much of a distance, but the place was full of zombies. Good thing I was the way I am. I walked through the aisles with leisure as I gathered what I needed. I needed water for my mac and cheese as well as a heat source. After grabbing a couple things, I went back home to drop them off.
I then headed for a construction store and got some materials to help me with making the power generator. Had to make a couple trips and even switched my battery out when I was done. I also grabbed all the cat food I could for Scratch.
I may have also stolen the latest video games and electronics to satisfy my boredom. After having electricity, I might even be able to create a community.
Ha, that sounds like a laugh.
I wanted to grab a huge new television, but I wouldn’t be able to carry it back home. Oh well, I already had the latest Pokémon game to play, along with the latest FPS that everyone was hyping.
A blackout had already happened in our area, but thanks to being a zombie, I had some night vision. I set to work creating my contraption well into morning. I still needed an alternate source of power just in case I wasn’t home to use my machine.

What was it? A bike hooked up to a turbine that would generate electricity when turned. I rewired my house to be powered by my bike and set to work. Being a zombie, I could literally do this for days. Hmmm…maybe I can get some zombies to
No. I am not going to be like Wallace. But maybe if the bad guy is about to kill humans, but even then, where would I find one? I spent the entire day pedaling to draw power. It was at 17% before the monitor began to buzz.
There was only two humans and neither of them were good. Instead of killing zombies, they were awarded for killing humans! Killer Jesus and his buddy Brutal Bill. They were attacking a human settlement that looked really familiar.
It was the location of that lucky girl! Time to hunt!
I gathered my new tools, which were a spear and a nail gun laced with my…blood? It was black like it was dried, but it still flowed like normal blood. With this, I could turn them into zombies easier.
How convenient, that scum appeared just as I needed scum.
I guess I can make another bike…or two.
I got on my scooter, as it still had thirty minutes left of power, and putted my way to the encampment. I still saw the men attacking the base, not much longer after the broadcast.
Strange, that the device would show me exactly what I wanted…Is that part of the system? Well, there’s no way to find out right now, but I could run experiments later. Like focus on who I want to see.
Jesus was shooting an AK he found giving cover fire for Bill who kept inching closer to the camp. There were many bodies surrounding the gates, but not all of them belonged to the good people. Besides Jesus and Bill, there were a couple other guys who were shooting or getting closer.
I got off my scooter at a far enough distance away before hiding it and began to aim using the nail gun. There was a loud ‘pop’ sound as a guy got hit in the shoulder. I don’t know how long the turning will take, so I got set on shooting the others. The ones I hit first were startled and turned to my direction. I didn’t get up, so they couldn’t see me. The dark has its advantages.
Over half of the 12 bandits were tagged as they began to yell about ‘the assassin’. Dumbasses, if I really were an assassin, you’d be dead.
Jesus and Bill weren’t hit yet, but they had already been alerted about my presence, meaning they were not going to be easy to hit. I don’t know what happened, but the first couple of guys I hit started to stumble and collapse. I guess they’re getting dizzy. It’s already been 15 minutes. How long did my turning take again? A couple hours? It might have been shorter than that, because of time appearing to slow down as I died…
Anyways, after almost half of the bandits were out of commission, the settlers began to rally back and turn the tide. They forced more of the bandits to retreat, as they shot the men that fell.
Drat, my hamsters and lab rats…
Luckily for me, the others began to run towards my direction. Lucky? That sounds bad!

The Kodoku Game
In Japanese folklore, there once existed an ancient technique among alchemists for harvesting the strongest poison known to man. A poison so vicious, so horrendous, that a single drop could incapacitate an entire nation of humans, several times over. A poison so intense that a single drop could turn the tides of a war on its head. As potent as it appeared however, this poison could be harvested from the blood of a single insect alone- an insect the alchemist’s called the ‘Kodoku’. As lucrative as was attaining this poison however, the problem lied in identifying this insect- its appearance, shape and size changed from region to region and from continent to continent. Sometimes it took the appearance of a ladybug and other times a horned-beetle. In order to determine the identity of this special insect the alchemists came up with an ingenious method. They created an impregnable jar of clay out of the best sandstone they could find and placed hundreds of different insects into the same jar. The jar was made with such great mastery that it allowed no insects to escape and allowed no objects to enter. The laws of nature dictated that the insects would remain together in the jar forever. However, it turned out that as time went on, the insects’ hunger for food and power caused them to turn against each other- one insect ate another until only one remained. This sole insect contained a poison that far surpassed that of all the others and became stronger as it ate more and more insects. The alchemists at this point had succeeded in identifying the Kodoku and could extract it’s poison as long as they continued to feed it regularly. Although this folklore ends here, the actual story does not. One day, as the alchemists cheered in joy of having identified the Kodoku they so eagerly wanted, they forgot to close the lid on the very jar that was considered to be completely impregnable. This small gap was just large enough for the Kodoku inside to crawl out. Famished from not having been fed for weeks, the Kodoku ended up eating the very alchemists that nourished its growth until not even the bones remained. Yet, the Kodoku’s hunger didn’t seem to subside in the slightest. So it traveled to the next village and began eating whatever it could find there. Its poison made it unparalleled in strength and slowly but surely it began to dwindle down the population of the entire city. Yet its hunger only continued to grow. So it traveled to the next city over and ate all it could there. Very soon, the Kodoku couldn’t find any more food to eat. There was no one left to eat and no one left to spectate. So it stood there, by itself pondering what possibly was left to eat that could satiate its hunger. But there was one thing left that Kodoku realized it had never eaten. Itself.
