《Kreaturen》“It produces fire.”

“Wh—WHAT!” I yelled. What on earth was this man asking me? Do I want to try DEATH? How do I reply to that? Should I say ‘Ah yes Sir, I can have some DEATH. It’s been a long time since I had DEATH. I hope it tastes as good as it used to before.’
“Who the hell are you, and what do you want?!!” I shrieked with terror.
“Oh, I would love to tell you what do I want.” He approached me slowly and steadily, making the same noise that I heard before. Oh! So this was causing the strange noise. There was water all over the kitchen floor. But why was there water all over? Damn it! I don’t have time to think about that. I had to do something fast. I have never been in a situation like this! What do I do?
Now, when nothing came to my mind, I did do something, something ridiculous. While the man was still advancing towards me, my shivering hands reached inside my pocket, only to notice something that I completely forgot. The glass bottle of Sodium metal powder. I could run, but I figured from the man’s body that he would catch me, only making matters worse. So I did what I thought was best to do at that moment.
“Wait!” I screamed with a quavering voice. “You asked me whether I had tried death, I haven’t. But I can surely tell you that death doesn’t taste any better than a damn bottle of SODIUM METAL POWDER!”
With this, I guess you know what might have happened. I could throw a lamp, or a pan, a tray, or something better. But no, I am an idiot. I had to do something stupid, and so I did.

I quickly grabbed the bottle from my pocket and smashed it on the man’s head. The bottle broke into a thousand pieces, and the man gave out a terrible groan. A lot of the powder went into his eyes, which hurts real bad, and the rest of the powder fell on the wet floor below. Now I didn’t wait to see what happened with the man, although his whole face was covered with blood. But, just before I dashed out of the house, the remaining sodium metal powder that fell on the wet floor gave out a sizzling sound that made me recall something, something vital. Something that I should’ve recalled earlier and would’ve recalled earlier. (If I had paid attention in Mrs. AK--, I mean, Mrs. Hannigan’s class.)
Mrs. Hannigan sighed, “Let’s start with the reactions! First of all, we have water. Now remember this, as soon as Sodium metal powder comes in contact with water, it gives out a sizzling sound for like, about 16 seconds, after which, it produces fire.”
There it is- “It produces fire.”

Zombies
This is one of three stories that I am offering as a test run. If you like it, then I'll choose to continue working on it. I have a whole plot line ready to explore! What can I say, I'm a sucker for rebirth, regression, and transmigration stories. This one is a regression story. The main character get's yeeted back in the past, to where the end began. Read on tortured souls as I do my best to break the weak, and sooth those who don't have a soul to break. I spent some time trying to make a story that explores all the gritty situations a resident of the apocalypse would encounter. Unfortunately, I do struggle with pace. I get just as impatient as you when I can't get to the next bloody encounter. But I despise OP characters, and I really wanna stop and explore the fascinating death of civilization. I write this in hopes of making a main character who get's to be the bad-ass I can't be, without, you know, skipping the good stuff.
