《Supersum [LitRPG Transmigration Fantasy]》Chapter 5 - The problem child

Sarah POV
Why does the ground outside the Estate feel so comfortable suddenly?
*huff*huff*huff*
This is too much! I said I wanted to get stronger, but I am practically dying right now.
*huff*huff*huff*
Standing in front of me is one of my teachers, Lukri, a shield master from the snail-kin. He had a swirl on his head, like the whipped creme we occasionally have.
This swirl looked like hair, but it also looked weird because it had the same brownish-green color as his skin.
Fallen into thought while resting: 'Do I look weird to them with my tail?'
Never mind as he interrupted me. "What is it? Do you already give up?"
This... gnarling my teeth, I was ready for more. "No! Another round!"
Standing up and raising my Iron-shield, I was ready to fight again.
It was weird for a Leonandra to fight with a shield or even a weapon at all, but I really loved using a shield since I started light training.
I don't know what it is, but it is as if the shield was perfect the moment I touched it, like another tail. So, Mom got me a prominent shield master, a mercenary from Wolfsteeth as my teacher.
If you feel like this towards something, it is primarily where your talents are. So, losing time on it is a no-go.
Instead, you need to instantly look into it, and it was the absolutely right choice since the training for the last months was the most fun I have had for a long time.
Getting ready, I was first exclusively trained with my shield and learned how to correctly block the attacks.
There are shield masters who never use something other than shields. They are living bulwarks who can block everything and do incredible damage. 'Maybe this is something for me?'
He dashed forward, not too slow, but fast enough for me to notice, and diagonally slashed with his wooden sword.
*Clanck* I blocked it, but the next hit came almost instantly as he changed his grip.
*Clanck* Horizontally close, move right diagonally and back, direct the force away from your body.
*Clanck* Vertically from above, tilt the shield so the force will be diverted while stepping towards the opposite direction.
*Clanck*
*Scrtchhhh*
A Stab towards my throat, tilt the force to the side of the shield hand, and step towards the opposite direction.
*Clanck*Clanck*Clanck*
...
*Clanck*Clanck*Clanck*
...
*Clanck*Clanck*Clanck*
...
Stab, tilt...no, a feint, the hit goes towards the legs.
*Clack*
"Argh!" Falling towards the ground, I couldn't stand up anymore.
'Too tired.' Inhaling and exhaling strongly, I felt like I needed all the air.
*hmmmmmmmmmm*huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuf*
*hmmmmmmmmmm*huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuf*
*hmmmmmmmmmm*huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuf*
"Good job, you are learning fast, and you are learning skills like a genuine prodigy - next time, we will do our basic training again. You need a sturdy body like a shield, which means: no skills."
While I tried to stand up, I saw how Lukri took out a long smoking pipe. He took some salt and other kinds of herbs, put them all in, and held a Mana crystal towards the head of the pipe to turn the heat on.
The pipe looked brand new, which means he bought it with the coin from my training. I had no problems with it, but I heard butlers say that the drugs he uses are potent.
Without even looking at me, he started a conversation. "Don't worry, as a Tank, you have an incredible [Constitution], which means that most common drugs won't even work on you, and let's not talk about alcohol. I already gave up on it."

Standing up, I looked curiously at the pipe. 'Maybe trying once is fine?'
"No" I was a little shocked by such an answer like he could read my mind.
"You are too young and not strong enough. This stuff I smoke could knock out a peak Tier 1 warrior without any problems."
Looking now at me while puffing, he felt more relaxed and smiled at me. "This means no"
Shrugging my shoulders, I thought it would be interesting, but "no thanks" if it is that dangerous. "Fine, so I will get myself ready for dinner. Will I see you tomorrow in the morning?"
I would like to invite him for dinner, but it is a big no. As long as little Alex is so vulnerable, there is no way that Mama would let someone foreign inside the Estate.
Especially since the news came out that we look for a mage as a teacher, the whole of Wolfsteeth is basically knowing who the little wizard is as they know the three of us pretty well, so only one remains.
"Sounds good. See you tomorrow." Nodding, I walked towards the Estate and tried to ignore my whole sore body.
Hmm, maybe looking at my progress will distract me? 'System, open yourself!'
'Looks really great!' While walking through the Estate, I jumped a bit and smiled.
It looked weird, but I didn't care! Since I started training with the shield, my skills jumped like a kangaroo-kin!
But I need to calm down a bit and digest all these skills. I can't train them too fast.
But even then, my [Constitution] is rising like the sun - without anyone who could stop it!
Thinking about rising skills, I wonder how the pup is doing? He was reading so fast, even Saly was shocked.
But he wasn't only training his mental skills. He also did physical training... I should visit him later and see how he is doing - I saw him a week ago, and he looked exhausted...
I wouldn't be surprised if he had already a skill test. Maybe I can help him?
I went through the same phase as him, but not even as young as he was now when I was obsessed with training.
I sighed and giggled at the thought that every servant is calling him "the future Arch-mage." 'The Arch-mage puppy.'
*******
Alexander POV
I was sitting in my dim-lit room, on the floor, surrounded by dozens of books I read over the months. If the tower of books fell, I would probably die... note to myself, be more careful.
I reviewed my Compendium, which I wrote about the system and its aspects.
Close to me was the plate with my food which I earlier gulped down. I was never a foodie, but I could say that the food was delicious.
One of my maids was sitting on the Kline; this time, Cloelle was looking after me - the maids have a stringent shift system for looking after me.
But at least they were at the beginning like living dictionaries for me.
If I didn't understand a word, I would just ask them. But the last time I asked was 2 weeks ago.
I trained in the last months all my skills to some insane extent, and I am really proud of myself. 'I bet I can reach level 50 before I am 10 years old!'
This shit is super addictive - I don't really know what I want to do in the future, but whatever it is, even looking at self-defending myself and living a normal life, I need skills and high levels.
So, I read and gathered information, trained my Mana skills, and did my physical workout - I gained an insane amount of skill levels and new skills. 'This is too much fun!'
I also had some skill tests, but nothing fun like the Algorithm test. They all were super basic. Even Teach was visibly bored and took at some point a test away, then I was rechecking it for the 10th time and just gave me 100%.
One test unlocked the Skill [Fast Reading], and the [Reading] skill went away while opening it. Asking a maid, she said that if I upgrade my Skill, it starts anew, it will not delete the Experience of the "previous" one, but is it worth it?
It is! I read like 3 times faster, and if true what I found in a book, you get at some point while leveling, 2x times the Experience if you reach the previous level of your non-advanced Skill.
While I was also compounding the information I got from the literature. I got more new skills like [Writing], [Deduction], and [Analyzing].
But I also got useless skills like [Calligraphy].
I also know why - while [Writing], I lay down the parchment sideways, so I write automatically cursive and voilà, a new skill after writing pages of my Compendium. Shrugging my shoulders inwardly, not like I care. Experience is Experience is Experience.
While I was reviewing the system's structure, I need to say that it is, at some points, very complicated but, at others, straightforwardly easy.
For example, you will unlock your Divinity line when you reach the age of 10. Easy so far, right?
Now comes the part which is impossible to determine: The Divinity line and the following Mystic skills you unlock will be determined by your morals, skills, levels, etc., or let's say it differently: by your whole being.
But this is only a rough hypothesis. I sighed and ruffled through my hair.
There is no damn scientific method in this world, and most nobles will hold onto their information and even take them to their grave. This makes me really angry and frustrated.
All I have to work with are anecdotes, and only from our family. That is it, and even then, we have no specific information, even how to awaken the Divinity line specializing in killing demons.
The Leonandra's will usually just pop one child after another until at least one has it, but sometimes it can jump a generation, and parents from side families who hadn't such Divinity line, get a child with it.
Are genetics a thing too? Probably. In the end, it means that nobody knows. You can probably find it out, roughly at least, but not in this day and age.
Well, damn it.
But on the bright side, as a child of prominent nobles, I have three maids now, who tend to my needs - and they are not thrilled by its looks.
I overwork myself regularly and sometimes fall asleep while reading. They are probably frightened every day when they report to Mom.
Shrugging inwardly, commoners have too much fear towards nobles. Mom would never do something radical towards them. Instead, she would rather put me in chains.
I can understand them, but knowledge is power, and right now, I need power! Who knows what will happen in years to come?
I know from Earth's past just too well that making nobles a couple of inches shorter is pretty standard. And I have no idea how we are treating our subjects.
This is politics, a topic for later when people can take me seriously. Right now, I am more of a furball... well, not really, but my tail is so God damn fluffy!
Where was I? right - System. Since the Divinity line is something I have barely any information about, I will do the most pragmatic thing: I'll ignore it.
What is next to review...right, Tiers. There are probably an infinite number of Tiers, and it follows by a simple calculation.
Tier 1 is level 1 - 50.
Tier 2 is level 51 - 150.
Tier 3 is level 151 - 300, etc.
Now the needed Experience per Level. In Tier 1, you need 100 Exp per level and get a free status point at every level.
In Tier 2, you need 200 Exp, and it brings you a free status point every two levels. Tier 3 is 300 Exp per level, and every three levels a status point. And so on.
You automatically increase every Tier, which brings perks with it.
Thank God that there are no damn tests.
The perks are also pretty straightforward. Tier 2: Every Attribute will be multiplied by a factor of 1.2, and you get a new Mystic skill.
Tier 3 is basically the same: The multiplier will increase to 1.4, and again, a new Mystic skill will be added. Then it follows logically.
Hm, should be everything, there should be now the topic about "Attributes." It is fundamentally pen and paper with some twerks.
I don't get why, but this is a question for much later. Even if I knew that there is a God who is a nerd who designed this, it would not help me, and right now, I need to review the practical reality for me and maybe help with this Compendium future generations.
You can start to increase your Attributes "unnaturally" after receiving your divine legacy, meaning: if you reach the age of 10 in this world.
I put the Attributes in three categories: Standard Attributes, Special Attributes, and Conditional Attributes.
Looking at Standard Attributes, it is the most basic. Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Spirit, Intelligence, and Perception. Nothing much needs to be said about them.
You can increase them by putting your Free Status points or Experience into them. The Experience you need to raise one Attribute is equivalent to the level it is. As an example, I had written down:
[Strength | 1] -> [Strength | 2], cost: -1 Exp
[Strength | 2] -> [Strength | 3], cost: -2 Exp
...
Hm, then we have the Special Attributes: Luck and Charisma. Their effects are more versatile like that Charisma can increase your appearance actually. But how you will look like later? It is a mystery for me. You can only improve them with Free Status points.
And last but not least, we have the Conditional Attributes: [Aura], [Defense], and [Essence]. They are pretty unique but thank God, we had some information about them.
They all 3 can create specific "mists," which can influence certain parts of you and your environment.
[Aura] will strengthen your physical abilities to a point where you can even rip steel apart, and [Defense] will give you a more robust defense against almost everything.
We have no information about [Essence], except that it will increase your "farsightedness" and magical abilities.
You need to use Mana and Stamina in combination to use them.
The requirement to unlock one of them is to put the sum of 50 points into 2 specific Attributes. To increase them, you need to put the sum of 10 points for every point of increase.
It doesn't even need to be an equal distribution, which means that your allocation will also affect the specific properties of the Energy.
There was a dire warning to never try to mix different kinds of "Energies" together because they don't mix together well, and backlashes were recorded, with the worst of them could lead to death. Welp, so much for an OP jack of all trades build.
Here will come the Free Status points into play. As recommended, you should put them inside one of your "energies," as they don't increase your requirements and increase the energies based on your current distribution.
I could actually ask someone, but somehow I feel like researching myself and later comparing the information would be more helpful as I can see that getting Experience and new skills are beneficial.
But there is also another problem. A rather personal one.
Everyone looked at me like I was a freak because I could freely talk while this young, and it didn't help much that I could also read and write.
My family is accommodating and never judges me, but I can see how weird I am in their eyes. I am already a sucker for my family.
I tried to do the same as Sarah, who said something about how training with her shield felt just right, and also talked about how I could sense Mana and told about my other Mana skills.
They were first a bit perplexed, but then, Mom's smile grew to such an extent I thought I would see her headshot someone with a magic trick.
I was told that I would be the first Leonandra to be a Scholar or Mage. It looks like either of them is essentially invaluable.
We actually have a Mage or two, but they are Dragon-kin and not part of our family and only a hire. Yes, only one Beast-kin has a good chance to become a Mage, Dragon-kins.
The whole Estate went actually crazy about it - having a Mage in the family is for Beast-kins very prestigious, even if they are low levels.
Mages are incredibly versatile, as they can cast spells freely, without having the specific Mystic skill.
And this is the whole crux. I thought, for example, that some servants could use Magic too, not aggressive Magic and rather the lifestyle ones, though. But they were only using Mystic skills.
By asking Francisca, one of my maids, she said that Mages for beast kins were like saints, and those who can break through the shackles of their kin and attain this status will have a giant impact on their whole society.
Now I need to be careful not to get an ego big enough to play football on it. Thankfully my family is helping me with that.
Sarah is the one who just ignores everything else and sees me as a pup, while Mom is having trouble because she sees me as a pup, but because of how I talk and act, she sometimes talks with me like with an adult. Brother Narsiz looks at me always like he has something stuck in his commercial district, but in the end, he always helps me - he is the most neutral in this sense, and I am somehow thankful for him for that.
I sighed as the headache was getting worse, too. I had it for a couple of days, but I wanted to first review my Compendium and then take a break, so it should be fine.
Last but not least: Experience. I already understood how Experience from skill level-ups works. After every level-up, you get the equivalent of the level you were, as Exp.
Example:
[Running | 1] -> [Running | 2], +1 Exp
[Running | 2] -> [Running | 3], +2 Exp
...
The Exp for killing is also well documented. If you are in the same Tier, you will get the Exp, equivalent to the killed one's level. A Tier higher or lower will get you a factor of 0.2 to add or subtract.
I found a neat structure in the system there, which I calculated and found out. For this, I got the Skill [Researching]. I don't really know what this Skill does, but I will surely find out with time.
My discovery was this one: Every Tier needs 200x mediocre leveled monsters from this Tier to be killed to reach the next Tier.
Example: The first Tier is from level 1-50, so a purely mediocre leveled Monster would be 25. The whole Exp in Tier 1 is 5000 Exp, so just dividing it will make 200x Monsters, and the same goes for every upper Tier, without exceptions!
It sounds excellent as killing will give you Exp and could be abused like hell, but nope, this was also documented. You get much less when you have a safety net in the form of a bodyguard, even if he does nothing, while you slaughter your way through.
Then there is also the thing that if you capture a monster and kill it while it can't do anything or is sick or whatever, you will only get a fraction of the Exp, even down to 0 Exp. So, here I thought that nobles could abuse this system but nope!
All this damn information was scattered around dozens of books... why would they just not do the same I did and make a short Compendium with all the needed information about the system.
A heavy sigh escaped me as I rubbed my temples as the headache was getting worse.
I also found out something additionally interesting - the calendar. 13 months, 520 days per year, and 8 days a week - what this means is that I am right now... ~1 year old, well, in this world, on Earth, it means... around 1.4 years old. There is also the feeling that the day is more extended, food for thoughts for later.
...
The headache is coming stronger, damn it! This irritates me to no end. "Cloelle?"
A bored voice came from the side. "Yes, Mr. Alexander?"
"Could you bring me please some water?"
*tap*tap*tap*
*clank*
Ah, silence. Even if it was silent all the time, it felt like I could hear her breathing. I am so sensitive right now.
What would a noble do in this situation? Behead the maid and have intercourse with the wall?
Lying on the ground and giggling about my own joke, I enjoyed the pure freedom and silence right now. Even if they don't restrain me, observing me 24/8 is stressful.
*clank*
I wanted to open my eyes and thank Cloelle, but I could sniff out that Sarah was visiting me before that.
Standing up, I could see that Sarah looked shocked. What happened?
"What happened, Alex"!" I actually wanted to ask that...
Waving my hand softly and yawning, I answered her honestly while yawning. "Sorry, I was reading too much and making notes about all the system window stuff. I am just tired."
Doing my "I love you so much" smile to calm her down since she looked very agitated for some reason.
What happened next was... unexpected. As Cloelle came back, Sarah looked at her sternly and commanded her. "Bring all the books and parchments back now! For the following weeks, he is not allowed to read!"
Widening my eyes, I thought I couldn't believe what she said! "Wai..."
Before I could even say something towards Cloelle - like a whirlwind, she took all dozens of books, put them inside a box, and brought them out, probably to the library.
What the fuck?! Since when are Butterfly-kin so fucking fast?
Sarah looked at me with an angry face...
Huh, did I fuck up again? I slept when I was sleepy. I ate well and was physically active.
I asked her softly, "Big sis..."
But was instantly interrupted, "DON'T BIG SISTER ME! HAVE YOU LOOKED AT YOURSELF"!"
I shook my head. The last months were only intense training and research - I would go even so far that I... oh, I see the problem...
"Erm, I..." She opened suddenly, her eyes wide open like saucers.
"Are you training right now, your Mana!?" How? She can't even fucking sense Mana like me?!
"Don't look at me like that. Mana has no smell but will neutralize every other scent." Oh.
Trying to quickly stop the combination of [Mana Sense], [Mana Absorption], and [Mana Emission], which I always train passively.
Not in the insane kind of way, I did before with the overload of my body, but more in that, I sense every single Mana signature around me. I also always emission Mana towards the environment and absorb Mana continuously to refresh my MP, and it works for 2 of the 3 skills pretty well.
The emission is stuck, and I probably need to use it in a more specific... Before I could finish my thought, she crouched right before me and looked into my eyes while holding them open.
"I knew it." I wanted to ask what the hell she knew, but I was flabbergasted by her. It was good that I finished the first version of my Compendium, or I couldn't be so relaxed.
Sarah grabbed me suddenly and dragged me away in her arms, like a princess. "Sis, I can walk."
Not even sparing me a glance, she angrily retorted. "Shut up! The following weeks you will be following me!"
Sarah is really rough sometimes. I pity her future husband.
But I get it. I need some leisure... before I could again finish my thoughts, Sarah screamed at some maid who was somewhere in the distance flirting with some butler.
"Hey, you! Call Mama! I need to see her in my room. Say it is about Alex!" The maid ran off like having bees in her backside.
*tap*tap*tap*
Welp, don't need to think about what I did. I will find it out in a couple of minutes.
...
*clank*
Being inside her room... saying that it was chaotic would be a compliment.
She laid me down in her bed and stood beside the door like waiting for the executioner.
Okay, now I get frightened. "Big shishder, I love you soooo..."
She looked at me sternly and didn't even let me finish the sentence. "Don't"
Clicking my tongue inwardly, something cute should actually work on her.
*Clank*
Mom came in, with a more or less stern face, looking between Sarah and me. In the end, she ignored me and talked with Sarah.
WHY?! I am the prisoner! I want my god damn lawyer! "Mo..."
Holding a hand up, she interrupted me even without looking at me. I feel treated like a child. Well, technically, I am... urgh, this day sucks.
She pointed at me. "Mama, look at his eyes and smell him."
Mom came close and looked into my eyes up close and smelled me more intensively.
I always forget that we are wolf-kins, so smelling is one of our most vital assets, and I also feel it. Our [Perception] Attributes are over the roof.
Mom nodded and looked back at Sarah. "I need the anti-Mana collar."
Opening my eyes wide, this was enough! Fun is over!
Starting to growl, I stood up on the bed.
Nope! JUST FUCKING NOPE! I ignore the big brother style observation, but I will not let you take one of the things I got to enjoy!
But I am small. Too god damn small.
"There is no way in hell I will let you restrict my Mana!" Trying to bear my small "claws" instinctively, I let my Mana run wild.
They both looked at me, but I couldn't discern their facial expressions anymore. I was so damn tired.
Also, the headache is getting worse by the second.
Sarah and Mom looked at me. This is all I know.
Angry? Sad? Disappointed?
Who knows? All I know is that my instinct tells me to fight against the restraint.
"###################" She says something. I cant hear it.
All I hear is a ringing sound.
Sarah is moving towards me. "##################"
I push my Mana out. I don't know what to do, so I try to consolidate it through my new skills to the front of me, so she can't reach me.
'Don't let her touch me!' I scream inside my mind.
Pushing every bit of Mana I have, I try to imagine how gaseous molecules move.
I push them together. Harder. Tighter.
Will you stop moving so much, you shit-ass Molecules!
I feel extreme heat forming in front of me. This should be the Energy I got out by restraining their movement.
Something blue in front of me materializes.
*ding*
Oh. Why does everything look so spongy now?
I guess I overdid it... why did I do this again?
...
...
...
*rustle*rustle*rustle*
Waking up, I felt a headache slowly building up. It got worse by the second until it was so bad, like I had never felt before. "Argh!"
Holding my head, I got into the fetus position. "Damn it!"
I started to feel nauseous. What is this strong smell?!
DON'T THROW UP! HOLD IT IN!
"Good morning Alex." Barely opening my eyes, I tried to look at whoever said it.
Why is it so bright?! Has someone brought the fucking sun into my room?!
Seeing Sarah sitting on a chair in front of me. I started to remember what had happened, but I didn't care.
I felt so bad physically. I would rather get stabbed again!
"A.S.S.!"
She tilted her head. "What?"
I started to growl. "Give me a damn A.S.S. or Ibu. My head is killing me!"
She shook her head. "I don't know what it is."
Trying to get my body up, I growled. My muscles felt sore and hurt like hell.
Why am I feeling like this?! "You need to lie in bed for a couple of weeks."
"What?" Goddammit, I feel like I got through a meatgrinder.
Sarah sighed with a mixture of relief and concern. "It is a wonder that you actually could use Mana skills in the end."
"What do you mean?" She pointed a finger towards her eye.
"If you combine Mana overuse and mental exhaustion, to such an extreme, with such a fragile body like yours."
...
She stopped and made a horizontal line around her neck. I would die?!
She stood up and came over to sit down on the bed. Sitting next to me, she started to caress my head while talking. "...it will have incredibly negative effects, up to death."
Excuse me?! "It was pure luck that I saw yesterday your eye and could smell you."
My eyes did partly hurt, but what about them? "My eye?"
"Yes, you had glowing blue eyes with red inside them..." she sighed again but this time more heavily, "...Talent is a curse, little pup - we all know what you can do, but you need to calm down. What happened could've killed you."
"But..."
She laid her hand on my mouth. "Don't talk, and just close your eyes."
Doing what she said, she kept on talking in a very soft and quiet voice, but it sounded nevertheless loud to me. Very loud and irritating.
"Your senses are right now extremely sensitive, so we remodeled the room and put an anti-Mana collar on you, so don't use any of your skills."
Damn it. I started frowning.
Sarah giggled as quietly as possible. "You were so cute yesterday while trying to go against us and stop us, but the restraint is necessary so that you can heal fully."
I get it. It is like getting a broken leg into plaster.
I just lied there. Even if I wanted to use a Mana skill, my headache would prevent it. "By the way, what was this A.S.S. and Ibu?"
Oh right. "Secret Alchemical solutions that elves invented against headaches I read about."
Got it! "Hm, Alchemy was never something I was interested in."
Hmm, maybe I can create it at some point? I remember how to make it...how was it again?
Thinking about it, I felt an enormous headache coming. "My head!"
I was crawling myself closer towards Sarah. "Don't try to level up your skills. It will worsen your pain."
Are you kidding me?! "You know, I also went through the same kind of struggle."
"You..." She interrupted me by laying her hand on my mouth softly.
"Psshhhh, I said no talking, and yes, while I was not as young as you now... well... I doubt anyone can have a 1:1 comparison to you."
She giggled lightly. "However, I started running when I was 2, and at that point, my skill levels shot up, and I got new skills after new skills."
I listened attentively and kind of expected that I was not the only moron in my family.
"I also sparred against Narsi and Lori very often, and when they had no time, I would train till I just lose my consciousness out of exhaustion." Oh! I have a sister in arms, literally!
"After doing it for a couple of months, I couldn't suddenly move anymore and needed to lie down for three months in bed. I over-exhausted my body to the extreme. Even two years after that, I couldn't do any regular training. Only after another year, I could train again normally."
So, it was like me just with purely physical training? "You are lucky, as your case is much less severe, and I found it early, a couple more weeks, and you would end up like me."
I could hear a frown. "Gaining skill levels and skills is addictive and dangerous, as your body needs to adjust to it, if not... well, you know now."
Silence prevailed in the room.
Suddenly, she lay down beside me and kept on caressing me. "Try to sleep."

*****
Standing deep inside a cave was a giant ~3m brown bear, red tattoos all over him and a thin green mist surrounding his whole body.
He inhaled strongly. A savage *ROAR!*, like from the depths of hell, was heard.
A giant spider leg shot towards him like an arrow, but he avoided it nimbly. The green mist which surrounded him thinly condensed suddenly around his whole body, and the Tattoos started glowing as he grabbed the leg which shot towards him.
The ~4m spider glared at him with her 8 red eyes and shot another leg towards him.
He tucked the one leg he held onto under his armpit and caught the other leg, too.
A deep voice resounded as he held onto the two legs. "GOT YA!"
The Tattoos glowed more fiercely. "Nature, come and entangle this asshole!"
Roots shoot out of the ground, breaking the hard floor open, entangling the spider, who *screeched* loudly in annoyance.
The bear smiled fiercely. "Don't worry, sweety, I will end it quickly!"
He roared and pulled the legs he held onto – a *crunching* and *cracking* sound was heard.
The spider tried to move, but the entanglement held it solidly into place as her legs were pulled out.
*SCREECH!*
The green and red liquid spurted all over as he pulled them out.
The bloodlust of the bear grew to such an extent that even the spider became fearful of him and wanted to flee.
The furry Devil threw one leg away and turned the one he held onto around. Thick green mist surrounded it as it turned more solid.
He charged towards the spider with a *hump*, using the leg like a giant lance.
He targeted the most challenging part of the spider, and the "lance" *cracked* the Exoskeleton and went directly into the spider innards, like a hot knife into butter. More liquids and gut spilled everywhere inside the cave.
He went deeper and deeper as the spider *Screeched* and tried to somehow break free. Spitting poison had no effects, and the thread couldn't stop him, too. The bear was like a moving mountain.
After some wriggling, the spider stopped moving, and the bear stood there. Somehow disappointing was this Experience for him, as a frown could be seen on his face.
As he walked out of the cave, he transformed back to his Wolf-kin form, standing 2.3m tall and wearing casual leather and linen clothes - he looked almost like a Lumberjack.
The only sign that he came from the fight was all the liquids and innards on his body.
Other Wolf-kins, wearing half-plate armor and all kinds of weapons, were waiting for him at the cave entrance.
They screamed in unison and saluted, with the right hand on their heart while bowing down. ""LORD!""
The Giant Wolf-kin just waved his hand. "The cave is all yours."
As he said it, they all went into formation and went into the cave, exterminating the rest of the Monsters.
The Wolf-kin strolled towards his camp. Arriving there, a Fox-kin came sprinting towards him and screaming "LORD!" while saluting.
Like before, he just waved his hand and was visibly annoyed by this.
He looked at some servant. "Bring me water. I want to clean myself up."
While waiting for the water, he started undressing in the middle of the camp – most of them ignored it as this was a common sight from their Commander and Lord, only some younger female beast-kins and the Fox-kin. in front of him, blushed visibly. "LORD! You can't undress in the middle of the camp!"
The giant Wolf-kin looked down towards the Fox-kin, who was normal-sized but looked like a child while being close to him.
What made it worse were the liquids from the spider on his body - through this, he looked more fierce and even bigger. "I am sorry, Sarus, but I am more into women."
Silence prevailed in the camp while some started giggling. "GUHAHAHAHA! Calm down! This was the last elimination spot, so you can relax!"
Visibly frowning, Sarusos took out some documents. "We got a letter from the Iolya Estate. They are asking for more help as…."
Before he could finish his sentence, a *BOOM* was heard as the black tail from the Giant hit the ground and produced a crater.
Intense killing intent was felt around the camp, some could barely walk, and others just sat down and waited it out.
The Fox-kin also just stood there, waiting for his Lord to calm down. He knew that he wouldn't do anything against him or the other servants.
The pressure was just too much for him, as he became drenched in sweat, standing close to the source of such a killing intent. "We will head back – I want you to write him something."
The killing intent intensified, and almost no one moved anymore. "He can go fuck himself, and I don't care if he has a problem. If he is trying to send us fewer resources, I will personally eradicate him and his blood!"
An audible *growl* could be heard, like from an ancient beast from hell.
Trying to stay beside his Lord, the Fox-kin tried to say something while it came out very quiet. "…the killing intent."
The killing intent almost instantly vanished, and he smiled sheepishly while scratching the back of his neck. "Sorry, got carried away."
But he became again serious in the next second, but he controlled his killing intent this time. "We already helped them in this thinning campaign. The Iolya Estate can go fuck themselves."
The attendant of the Wolf-kin furrowed his brows and pinched between them. "I understand…"
Interrupting him, the servant with the water came. "I apologize deeply for the wait, my lord!"
Waving his hand, he started to wash the blood and gut from his body. "Did you say I was so dirty that you let me wait?"
The servant became visibly worried. "No, I didn't mean…. Lord..."
Interrupting her was a hand on her shoulder. "Calm down, you are new, right? He is joking. Look at him."
He pointed towards his Lord, and a big smile was seen. "GUHAHAHAHAHA! You are such a mood killer, Saru!"
The servant was visibly confused as something like this had never happened since she served other nobles.
Sarusos *sighed* and dismissed the maid. He looked back at his Lord.
"However…"
"Don't say anything else about these sons of bitches. Just send them a letter and make it clear that I don't tolerate it and also make clear that the demon run will end at some point, and the Leonandra Estate will have more than enough time."
A grim smile was seen on the Wolf-kin, who tried to clean the spider innards from his body. "Yes, my Lord, I am on it."
Before he moved far enough away, the stressed-out Fox-kin heard something from behind him. "Don't also forget that we have a party today!
You need to drink with us! GUHAHAHAHA!"
The Fox-kin stopped for a moment and started walking again while rubbing his temples. A quiet mumble could be heard from him. "I should've become a damn merchant."
…
After half an hour, the giant Wolf-kin was cleaned. His build was that of a Barbarian made of stone. Bulking muscles that looked like they could withstand a giant crossbow. He has black fur on his tail, chest, stomach, black hair, and green eyes.
As he walked naked through the camp towards his tent, nobody seemed to care except the newcomers, who were visibly shocked that a noble would display himself like this.
Arriving at his tent, he put some leisure clothes on, grabbed some meat as a snack, and laid down in his bed, which was made out of dozens of furs from monsters.
While eating, he thought about many things, but the most prominent thought was that he wanted to return to his family. He knew that he had a pup waiting for him for a year now, but what could he do?
Someone needed to make the thinning, or else the trade and, in general, the logistics would be disrupted, which would become detrimental in such a giant demon run.
He got the news about it while he was already in the middle of his campaign, so he needed to ensure that Tier 2 and Tier 3 Monsters would be more thoroughly cleaned out.
"Huh, I should also be early enough at the Estate for Narsi's Divine legacy. A Dad should at least be there for this."
As he scratched the back of his neck, he became more longing for home and sighed heavily. "I can't believe that being strong actually means less freedom."
