A lazy glow of the moon laned on the shed that creaked at the slightest bit of breeze. Inside was dimly lit up by rose smelling candles that hide the reeking smell of moss and mold. Erix sat on barrel staring outside through a massive hole in the side of the building. It was peaceful night. Every so often toads and crickets filled the blissful silence. Sparing a glance at Celest, she was up and about ransacking the shed of any goods she could find.
“We’ll arrive at the town tomorrow” he announced.
“Have you been there before”
“I believe I haven’t”
“We should probably make up a backstory just in case”
“A backstory?”
“Yeah, we look very suspicious, and we don’t want the guards to ask, and we say different things”
“That’s does make sense”
“How about… ummm siblings!”
“We look nothing alike”
“Not all siblings look the same Erix. Our Mother and Father is dead… oh and we are merchnats travelling”
“Any sane person can pick that apart”
“Not all people are sane~”
Celest turned towards the massive mountains that loomed over the plains. Just behind was the town Asin a merchant’s town. She could already hear the loud cheers and the busyness of the streets. ‘It was so going to be so much fun.’ (She was lying to herself)
Time slowly past as the she discovered more random shit and a lot more dust. Coughing out her lungs, she found some nice-looking daggers with some letters engraved in the blade. “Look what I found” she cheerfully yelled. “Huh, can you read what it says?”
“Oh, its elveish!”
“Elveish?”
“Yep, which is weird cause it just gibberish. Elves like their poem but this makes no sense”
“Wait you can read elveish?”
Glancing back down to Celest, who sat on the rough wooden floors. He knew she was a siren but knowing elveish know for being incredibly hard to learn. “Yeah, I know a lot of other languages I just got bored so I thought I do something productive” She continue so study the draggers.

Candles flickered as the wind pick up. Creaking more loudly, the shed swayed in the now strong wind. Clouds drifted closer together blocking the moon lights, now only the candles lit up the shed. Erix stood up and pushed an empty bookshelf closing off the large hole. Soon the rhythmic sound of rain hitting the roof surround them. Erix pulled his clothes around him to keep his warmth. “Isn't funny it was boiling hot know its fucking freezing!” Celest yelled over the rain. “That’s how the world works!” Erix said now screaming. It was going to be a long night.

Some thought that both sides are brewing something and kept their cards hidden. Even the rumors told that the peace wouldn't last long and the war would break out in a few years. Who would know the future and things it would tell.
