《Sasha》4. ~Stupid Girl~

After school, Sasha took her time.
She expected to arrive first. She expected to be surrounded by a group of people. Either delinquents, or a group of girls. Walls on three sides, one entrance and one exit, The Den was the perfect place for a trap, and she expected one. Wanted one.
Sasha reached the corner and stopped when she heard loud voices echo from within.
She hid against the wall.
"-know I'm on my last leg here! If the Principal hears one peep of me beating up another minor I get suspended! But this? -this is likely going to get me expelled!" Some guy yelled out. “She’s a small pink haired girly-girl right? You beat her up.”
“But I-” the girl went silent.
"I am not doing this, what did she want anyway?" He grumped.
Sasha didn't hear the girl’s reply, but the guy grumbled a response.
The stupid girl is full of herself! Doesn’t look like I’m getting a fight. Sasha pushed herself off the wall and entered The Den.
The older boy towered over the stupid girl. Tall and menacing, he wore a dark short sleeved shirt under a jean jacket -sleeves ripped off- to match his ragged school pants. Scars and muscles...
He looks tough! This might have been a good fight too.
He spotted Sasha and glared back at the girl, "Is that her?" he pointed.
The girl nodded, eyes averted in shame, but Sasha caught a glimpse of fire in the corner of her eye.
The older boy stepped closer, not hiding his anger he held out a slip of paper. "I am sorry. Take it and leave and please don't say anything to anyone that involves me. I can't afford it."
Sasha took the paper and he turned away.

"Younger sister?" Sasha asked.
"Ya, you have one?" he glanced back.
"Two, twins," Sasha answered.
"Haha, don’t think I could handle that. One is hard enough."
No choice but to play innocent, Sasha giggled and took a step back. "Sorry for bothering you."
"Hey,” He called back before she could escape. “What exactly do you need that address for anyway?"
"You’ll find out soon enough," Sasha answered and walked away, shaking.
The stupid girl promised a fight, and didn't deliver.
Sasha turned her focus on the paper. Her hands shaking, she could hardly read it but Eva’s street connected to the one she lived on.
I need to calm down before seeing her.
She broke into a run.

NEWDIE STEADSLAW Part I
NEWDIE STEADSLAW is a randomized array of Chekhov's red herrings, non sequitors ex machina, run-on sentences, and em dashes—so many em dashes. It's like if the Bible and Shakespeare had a baby that they surrendered to foster care, then it got adopted by Alice in Wonderland and Dr. Seuss—the books, not the people—and then the baby fell down the stairs. In this metaphor, the stairs wrote the story. Part I is the tale of the adventures of Traycup and Roby as they try to hold down a job inside the hollow Earth—a place made possible thanks to the secret science of embargoed relativity—and they get distracted by dancing foxes, a giant's record collection, and something with a train, I think. It's a work of fiction—although to call it work seems insulting to, y'know, actual work—but the fiction label is apt, so, y'know, that's a win. Half the words are made up, and the other half are embarrassed to be seen with them. Part I is complete.

The world's mysteries this time includes the origin of demons and woOoo ~spirit ships~ … I have decent worldbuilding skills, I swear! *** I'm not American and I initially started writing this story as a joke. The joke has spiraled too far and I won't stop now. I will make zero effort to do research and all the effort to do decently-paced updates. I'm also posting on ScribbleHub under the same username. Soft CW: Decent amount of swearing, but it's not maliciously aimed.
