《Odd Heroes》Chapter 49-Luna

Luna stared, annoyed at the two people in front of her. Commander Rhea, an unknown entity who’d risen to the top and taken charge of Yggdrasil at an alarming rate. Brisingr, a well-known agent whose power on the field was unparalleled. Both possessed a keen intellect and battle strategy-packed minds which granted them respect from many others, even if it was grudgingly.
And both of them were arguing like kids in front of her right now.
Well, both of them looked like kids, not to mention identical. (Twins were the running theory). Commander was a midget and her obsession with candies, not to mention her mischievous tendencies made people see her as a kindergartner. Brisingr faced similar problems, though to a lesser extent. Her gear didn’t allow much of her face to be visible but what little could be seen could only be called majestic. Her entire posture and stance emanated a regal aura, making the fact she was also unusually short easy to ignore.
The way they were yammering back and forth resembled that of petulant children crying over a shared toy. They seemed to forget there were people present, viewing this rare spectacle with wide eyes. Luna couldn’t care less. Commander and Brisingr always butted heads, so what was there to gawk at? No, she was working hard on her job: tracking down the Arias.
The Gear Wielders were becoming impatient and needed to blow off some steam. Commander had asked Luna to locate a group of Arias who wasn’t too hard to defeat. Luna thought Commander was coddling them too much, but maybe it was for the best. That one Wielder still checked if he had his arm now and again.
What would be a good fit for Team A? Most of the members were long rangers, so Luna should pick close-up fighters for them to explore other options. She needed to make sure it wasn’t too hard that it was extremely dangerous, but she couldn’t allow them to grow up only fighting what they wanted to fight.

Quite a dilemma.
Rubbing her eyes, Luna was about to delve back into her work when something flickering caught her eyes. Frowning, Luna enhanced the image. After several seconds passed of careful examination, Luna’s eyes widened.
Whatever this was.....it wasn’t normal. Not Arias, Legend, or human. She would need to proceed with caution on this one. Maybe send out one of the more advanced squads and have a drone tagging them-
Luna deciphered where the beeping was located and for the first time since Brisingr left, she cursed.
