《Breaking Limits: A DBZ Fan-fic》Chapter 28

It had been a full day. Kami was staring at the door to the time chamber. Sarada had spent a full day in there. That's the equivalent to a year. Kami didn't know if the child was even alive in there. He had never met someone who spend more than a week in there on their own, and this child just came and did it? He was a bit skeptical. So he was staring. She would have to come out soon, if she was still alive and sane.

"Do you think she's alright? "Mr. Popo asked as he watered the plants. Kami didn't respond, he didn't know.

"There's something about her. I don't know what it is but it's odd"

He was getting a feeling from her. It wasn't a bad one. It just felt like she wasn't supposed to be there or something around those lines. How does she know so much? How strong was she? He had questions he was going to ask and hopefully she answers them. Other than that he had no problem with her, surprisingly. She was a kind person. He couldn't feel any malicious intent coming from her and she was genuine with everything she said.

"The door opened" Mr. Popo pointed out when the door to the chamber cracked open.

Kami's attention was immediately directed to the door. Everything was silent as he waited to see if the girl would emerge.

She did.

She stepped out and the first thing she did was take a big gulp of air. She let out a long exhale and stretched happily.

"I'm back. I'm sane and alive " she announced as she started heading towards the old Namekian. She was feeling very good. She was stronger and most importantly she was out of there. She doubt she'll ever spend a year in there by herself ever again. She learned that she is not the loner type. She likes to be around her friends and family. Now that she was out she was heading straight home. She would give her mother and Panchy the biggest hug. Eat their delicious food, go see the old scientist, have a little chat and go check on Bulma. After that she might go see how Kakarot was doing in his training.

"Hey Kami. Thanks again for letting me use the chamber. I got a massive power boost " Sarada said as she bussied herself with stretches. Her power had climbed incredibly fast. She didn't expect to grow so much. Then again she did spend a full year doing nothing but training. She was now at the amazing level of 65800 with 36000 stored away. She loved those numbers.

Kami was impressed. She actually survived one year in the chamber. She came out completely sane and unaffected. She said she had grown in power and was clearly hiding it because he could sense the same amount coming from her.

"You actually survived. You're the first person to spend a complete year on your own"

"Am I? " she asked as she finished her stretches. It was just a useless question. She knew she was.

"Yes" Kami nodded as he watched her fall into push ups. She seemed determined to keep herself busy. "I would like to question you about your knowledge again"

Sarada looked up at the serious Namekian. She then returned her attention to the ground. Should she tell him? She had a feeling other more high ranking creatures might know about her. King Yemma, for example. He was in charge of reincarnating souls and what not. She had a feeling he knew of her. She also had a very strong feeling that she might have some bad karma with the guy for that very reason. The other guys in the other world could all know of her. The Kais. The supreme Kais. Every single deity that was supposed to exist. If they knew then Whis knew. And if he knew then the only thing keeping her alive at the moment is the fact that Beerus is asleep and shall remain that way for a couple more years.

So if she told Kami, maybe he could help her out when the time came. It's good to have someone put in a good word for you. He seems to like her, somewhat. And she definitely proved herself.

Then again, what if no one knew. She wouldn't have to tell him the exact truth. She could come up with something that would be the truth, but not fully. She could tell him that she could see different timelines or something along those lines. Seeing into the future is a type of magic and magic is what she had.

She looked back to the old Namekian. She needed to tell him something, didn't she?

"Alright. This stays between us"

~~~~~~
Kami didn't know what to say. It was hard to believe what Sarada told him but it was genuine. Again he could feel it. She was sitting opposite him,calmly. Since he went quiet she hadn't said anything. She was giving him time to digest the information given to him.
Unbelievable.
She really knew so much. She knew of what would take place in the future, or what could take place in the future. The latter is more accurate. That's why she aimed to be stronger. That's why she hunted him down. That's why she did everything.
It was actually incredible. She knew everything. Someone like that would be better suited to watch over earth, wouldn't they? She already seemed to care about the earth. She suggested ways of better protecting it. She informed him that she would wish for one of those suggestions when she got the chance. She was incredibly strong. She let Mr. Popo use that device she carries around. Apparently it can put a number on Ki. His was pathetically low. And to show how strong she was they went into the time chamber and she released everything.
Kami was in shock.
But at the same time he was happy. He had stumbled upon, no. Sarada had found him. Sarada was pure of heart and the most genuine person he had met so far. She had knowledge of potential happenings, cared about the earth and it's inhabitants and was over fifty times stronger than him. She was stronger than everyone on the planet. And she had the requirements. He could feel her ki. She may not know it, but she had the ki a guardian was required to have. She could succeed him.
"Please take my place as earth's guardian"
"Kami?" Popo had a feeling the Namekian would ask that question. A new guardian?
Sarada blinked. She was not expecting that. He seriously wanted her to replace him. This guy. She always found it funny how he was constantly asking Kakarot to take his place. Now she ended up in that position.
After some thought she shrugged, why the hell not. She could manage the job. She was already planning on ways to protect the earth as it is. Why not gain the title as it's official guardian.
"I don't see why not"
"You're serious? You're going to take my place? "
She nodded. "But I won't live up here"
"But you would see everything from up here"
"Yeah, but I have a family down there. They run capsule corp"
Kami sighed. "Alright"
"You'll be staying up here. You live here. I don't need to be up here. I can already sense ki at an impressive distance. And if I missed something, you'll be up here to inform me"
Kami nodded.
"Also I have a request"
"What is it? "
"Your hand please" Sarada motioned to his hand.
Kami was puzzled but gave Sarada his hand. She held his wrinkly hand in hers and proceeded to press a finger to one of his own. She quickly created a small ki blade. The size of a tiny needle. Kami winced for a second when it pierced skin and drew blood. Blood that came in direct contact with Sarada
"Thank you"
"What was that for? "
"Oh, nothing much. I just have a rare ability that required your blood" she waved his question off. "I know we have a couple of things to do before I become the official guardian, but I would like to head home for some time" she explained.
In her head she had asked her system how long she would be out for. She sighed when she received an answer of two weeks.
"I might he gone for two weeks"
~~~~~~

Sarada had used instant transmision to return home. She landed on the balcony to the living room and casually walked in. She had a few minutes before she passed out. She was going to stuff her face full of food.

"Hey mom " Sarada greeted as she happily hugged her confused mother. To her Sarada had only been gone a day, so why was she hugging her as if they hadn't seen each other in months.

"Hello, Sarada. Are you alright? "She asked as she stroked her messy hair.

"Yes. I just missed you"

"You've only been gone for a day"

Sarada chuckled. If only she knew. "Well, I missed my mother. I don't need to be away for long to miss you. I love you"

Gine giggled and kissed Sarada's forehead before pulling away. " I love you too" she patted her head. "You must be hungry, Panchy prepared a feast again"

"Food is what I need. I might pass out for two weeks" Sarada said as she started to head to the kitchen.

Once in the kitchen Panchy received the same hug and she was a giggling mess. She happily hugged Sarada back and promised her all her favorite treats.

Sarada was very happy about that.

~~~~~~
Sarada sighed in content as she made her way to Bulma's room. She would be out in two minutes. She wondered if any changes had occurred yet. It had only been two or three days. Maybe nothing physical happened but something internally had most likely changed.
Sarada had slid her door open and stood there for some time. She would be asleep for two weeks. When she woke up she would have to wait two more weeks before Bulma woke up as well. She would have to distract herself for those two weeks.
She closed the door behind her as she stepped into the other's room. Bulma was sound asleep. Her hair looked the same. It wouldn't change, which was a relief. Sarada liked the blue hair. She rested a had on her forehead. Her temperature was the same. The doc had informed her that when she went out her body was burning up. It was most likely due to her fighting off the heart virus.
One minute and thirty seconds remaining.
Why did Bulma have to be out for one full month? When she had woken from her sleep Bulma had ripped her a new one. The kid yelled at her for leaving her without her science partner. Sarada had laughed it off. Bulma couldn't have missed her that much. She learned that she did miss her for those months she was out.
"And here I am going through the same thing. I have no science partner who would continuously ask me questions" she sighed.
At least the girl got her wish granted. She was able to give her what she wanted. Since she did that she could no longer give anyone outside her family any bloodline. She was ok with it. Bulma was family. Besides, Sarada really wanted to see what a saiyan Bulma would be like. She already had the personality. Now she would have the tail and urge to fight. Although she had shown signs of the latter.
"Sleep tight"
~~~~~~~

Sarada crashed onto her bed and let out a long breath. She had filled her stomach but was sure to wake up deadly hungry. She had lots to do when she woke up.

"Things are getting pretty interesting "
