Sarada had created a nimbus and carefully placed the sleeping Bulma on it. She'd be out for a full month, which meant Sarada had a full month home before setting off. There is a lot she could do in that time.
"Nimbus! " Kakarot called his cloud and smiled when he saw the yellow nimbus flying across the sky. When it stopped in front of him he flung himself on it and sighed in content. So soft.
"What are your plans Kakarot? "Sarada asked as she climbed onto her own cloud. She ran a hand through her hair to get her messy bangs out of her face. That would not last long.
"I'll go train under master Roshi. I've been saying that for so long" Kakarot said as he sprawled out on his cloud.
"Do you want the gravity machine? "
The boy brightened at the question and nodded furiously. Sarada reached into her backpack and pulled out a red capsule. She tossed it to her overly happy brother.
"Do your best. You better get stronger"
"I will, trust me" Kakarot pocketed the capsule. "What about you? Are you still going off to space? ".
"Yeah, as soon as Bulma wakes up"
"Where are you going? "
"To an interesting planet"
Kakarot sighed. Sarada obviously wasn't interested in sharing details. He expected that. His sister liked to be secretive about her self assigned missions.
"If you say so. Don't go and get yourself killed"
Sarada snickered. "I'll do anything but. You know me better, little brother "
"Yes but you did say that there are beings out there that surpass your power"
"That I did" Sarada looked to the moon for a moment. "Don't worry. I'm pretty sure I won't be meeting anyone like that on this trip. I would not have given Bulma permission to come if I was not certain"
"I'll take your word for it" Kakarot finally sat up. "Its goodbye for now"
Sarada nodded. "You have your own adventure this time "
"I do, don't I? I have to be strong if I ever plan on beating you".
"In your dreams, you're never surpassing me. It is my job as your older sister to always be stronger than you "
"That's not fair"Kakarot whined like a child.
"All is fair my friend" Sarada grinned and offered a fist. "See you when I see you"
Kakarot grinned in return and connected their fists. "See you when I see you"
Sarada sat back and watched her younger brother fly off. She would miss him. She had spent years around the boy. This would be the first time in a long time that they would be apart from each other. She smiled as she directed her cloud in the opposite direction. He would make her proud. He would get immensely stronger. Maybe he would beat her one day.
"Nah"
He would not. She would not allow it. She wanted him to be strong. Stronger than the gods themselves. In order to reach that level he needed to keep climbing. He needed to continuously grow in power. She wanted him to chase after her. Grow and improve. He would not be weak.
She couldn't either
"Interface. I have a question"
Advertisement
[What is it Sarada?]
"Why am I so weak? I have a feeling I should be higher than the 10.000 I'm stuck with "
[I have blocked off a deal of your strength]
"I had a feeling. Why exactly? "
[Are you aware of Tsunade Senju from the anime Naruto?]
"Of course I am. Where are you going with this"
[Are you aware of the seal or mark she has on her forehead? ]
"Yes. The Strength of a Hundred Seal. She stores away chakra in that mark she has on her forehead so she need not waste too much chakra or something between those lines. When released she gets a massive boost"
[By storing away deals of your ki whenever you get to a certain point of strength I am helping you. If you're ever in a bind and being overpowered I will release the blocked ki]
"How much have you blocked off? Give me numbers"
[15.000]
Sarada almost chocked on air when she heard the number. She had that much power? Where did that even come from? How long had her interface been storing away her ki for her to gather this much.
"How do I have so much? "
[You were born with the power level of 10.000. I had stored away half upon your birth]
"You've got to be kidding me. What about the rest? "
[I had stored that amount away as you aged]
"So you're telling me, I'm actually already stronger that Vegeta"
[Yes]
"You said I was born with the power level of 10.000. Does that make me like Broly? "
[No. There is but one legendary super saiyan. You just had a very high power level for other reasons]
"What are those reasons? "
[I cannot say. Requirements have yet to be met before anymore is revealed]
requirments. Of course. There was a set of things she did not know about herself. She had talents or latened abilities that needed requirements to be revealed. And of course she could not ask what requirements needed to be met.
"When will I ever meet those requirements? Half of my character sheet is blocked off because of these requirements "
[I cannot say]
Sarada sighed in frustration. "Bring up my character sheet and add my blocked off power to it"
The interface responded with a sort of buzzing sound before Sarada saw her character sheet floating before her eyes in a blue box.
Name: Sarada

She sighed. Why could she not see how much S-cells she possessed. Why did she have two hidden skills. Why are three talents or innate abilities hidden? What are the requirements? Her interface refused to tell her. Jun obviously knew something, but refused to tell her as well. Gohan had seen something in her, but would not tell either. Why?

[Requirements need to be met]
"Shut up"
[Mind state has changed to frustrated]
Sarada let out a breath to calm herself and gazed into the night sky. She'll just have to patiently wait until the requirements are met.
~~~~~~
Upon arriving at capsule corp Sarada had brought Bulma to her room and set off to find the adults and inform them of her state. She wouldn't want then to panic, thinking that something was wrong with the girl. It was around nine in the night when she arrived and as expected she found her mother sitting on the balcony overlooking the garden bellow..
"Goodnight mom" she greeted as she walked to stand by her mother's side. Gine smiled a loving smile as she pulled her daughter into a tight hug.
"You sure took your time out there. Where is Kakarot? " she asked as she placed a kiss on Sarada's forehead.
"He went off to train. You know how he is" Sarada shrugged. "He'll be back in a couple of months"
"He didn't even think to come see his mother before deciding to stay away" Gine sighed and stared out at the stars. She also had on glasses. Like Sarada she loved to gaze into the night sky. It's calming and gave her time to think. Her oldest son was out there somewhere. She hoped he was doing well. He had a knack for causing trouble. She didn't want anything to happen to him.
"Raditz is fine" Sarada reassured, having read the expression on her mother's face. "He's an idiot, but he knows how to survive"
"I know. It doesn't stop me from worrying though "
"You're a mother. It's your job" Sarada joked.
"I'm a saiyan mother. I'm not supposed to care so much"
"That's what makes you so amazing. You actually care about us and worry about all the dumb things we do. You make sure we know how much you love us and try your best to keep up with us" Sarada smiled brightly. "I would say that makes you a pretty spectacular mother "
Gine giggled at the compliments being thrown at her. Leave it to Sarada to brighten her mood.
"Thank you"
"No need to thank me" Sarada waved her mother off. "Don't worry about Kakarot. He's fine. Don't worry about Raditz because the fool knows better than to get himself killed. Don't worry about me because I will always be here, well not physically, but you know what I mean"
Gine ran a hand through Sarada's hair with a small smile. "Yes I do"
"Good. Do you want to go train with me? "
"It's late"
"It's only nine" Sarada whined.
"Tomorrow, I promise "
"You better keep it"
"I always do, don't I? "
"No you don't " Sarada pouted like the child she was. "That one time your promised you'd try to make me some teriyaki, but you never did"
Gine sweat dropped. Sarada was really holding on to that.
"It was that one time"
"Even so. You didn't make me any teriyaki"
"Why are you holding onto that?"
"Because it's teriyaki. It's delicious"
"I'll make you some tomorrow. Panchy already taught me how to"
"I'll hold you to that" Sarada said as she sat on the ground in front of her mother. She loved the night. The stars were bright. The air was cool. The city was alight and looked very eye catching.
"How was your adventure? " Gine asked as she started to run her hands through Sarada's hair. The young one loved having her scalp massaged.
"Entertaining" Sarada sighed in pleasure. Having her scalp massaged was the best feeling to her. "We met interesting people "
"Is Kakarot off to train under one of these interesting people? "
"Yes, master Roshi. He's the turtle hermit and said to be the strongest martial artist in the world. He's a wise, but perverted old man. He invented an impressive ki attack that he dubbed 'the kamehameha wave'. "
"That sounds very impressive. " Gine mussed. "Do those dragon balls really have wish granting powers? "
"Yes"
"What did you wish for? "
Sarada chuckled. "I wished for Bulma to have a change in anatomy " she lied. She couldn't tell her what she had really wished for because Gine and the Briefs would wonder how Bulma became a saiyan. There was that and the fact that she already told Bulma she had granted her wish.
"What do you mean by that? "
"She wanted to be a saiyan because of the benefits she had noticed so I had wished for that" Sarada explained. "After the wish she lost consciousness. Her body must need time to successfully alter her anatomy so she might be out for some time"
Gine nodded with a hum. Stranger things have taken place in her life. She had not thought one's biology could be altered. She did not think wish granting orbs actually existed. Could the dragon balls grant any wish?
She asked Sarada question.
"The dragon can only grant wishes that are within his power" Sarada informed.
Gine wondered. Could the dragon bring a person back to life? Could she wish to have Bardock revived?
"You're wondering if one could be brought back to life, aren't you? "Sarada had caught on. She could read her mother like a book. She spent most of her time around her after all.
"Yes"
"The answer is yes " Sarada said and could feel the relieved joy and hope that rolled off her mother. "But we cannot bring dad back with these dragon balls. Shenron can only grant one wish. We would need three to bring him back "
Gine's mood shifted immediately. There goes her hope.
"It's hopeless, isn't it? "
"I never said that. I said we could not achieve that goal with these dragon balls. There are others. "Sarada reassured her mother. "I have read about a race that could create wish granting orbs. The Namekians. I have a feeling their dragon balls could grant more than one wish"
"Are you sure? "
"Yes. That's why I'm leaving for Namek as soon as Bulma wakes up".
"You're leaving again" Gine sighed. She should have saw it coming. But she was happy. Sarada was trying to get her father back. She could have her husband back.
"I have to"
"What would I do without, Sarada? "
Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)
