《Reborn in Another World as a (Colorless) Demon Prince》Hiatus and Potential Rewrite

This is a problem that happened in my first story as well, "The Oddity" and while my overall writing skills may have improved since then, I failed in a similar way. For now, I plan on putting this series on indifinite hiatus as well until I've refined my ideas and vision for this story. I likely won't be continuing from this point, as the foundation is incredibly shaky, and I'll probably reboot it when I return.
Once again, thank you for reading. I'm sorry I couldn't deliver you whatever potential you saw in this story but hopefully I can ammend that in a year or two if you are still interested in giving this another shot in the future.
On another note, I have been working on my original series, "The Oddity" in the background and it's turning out surprisingly well. It won't come out anytime soon but I suspect I'll be able to release the rewrite sometime in mid to late summer if things turn out well but definitely before the end of this year if things don't go as planned.
Rewriting my first story has expanded my mind so much it made me ashamed that I couldn't think of these things back when I started out, but that's to be expected. I was always too attached to my first drafts and although they were always workable, my attachment to those drafts ended up hurting the pacing, characters, and everything else. With the rewrite of "The Oddity" I'm scrapping chapters and ideas, and using their corpses to build something much better. I can't promise it'll turn out well, I'm probably still too unwilling to change certain aspects of that story that just don't add anything important to the narrative, but I'm hopeful.
I'll work my hardest on that rewrite so it'll turn into the story I always wanted it to be and then return to this one with everything I've learned.

And with that, I'll be leaving this series on an indifinite hiatus. In the comments, feel free to leave your overall thoughts on the series, I really appreciate them and it helped me power through a few more chapters, as well as what you would like to see more of if you return for the rewrite.
Some general questions to help:
What do you think was the weakest part(s) of this story?
What were the strongest?
What do you want to know more about?
What events needed more chapters?
What events needed less?
Which characters needed more or less time?
Should the series start with a chapter about Kieran's previous life or just start with him in the demon kingdom? (As I've talked about before, it's quite important that he's reincarnated.
What could've been cut?
What could've been added?
My current thoughts for a rewrite would restructure things so that he isn't forced to stay in the castle as much, which would allow me to worldbuild more and be more creative with story arcs when he's young. I'm also currently thinking of spending more time with child Kieran, not that much more time but certainly some, before moving on, giving me a chance to develop dynamics between him and his family.
Anyways, thank you and I hope to see you all again.
