It was amazing what one year could do to change so many things. Alex was looking out his office window while siping his morning coffe. His company was up and running, he had alot more time to dedicate to project ultimate.
Once Faith had traine under him, she had use her new found wealth to take some night classes in economic. And now she held the second in command position, he still sweated thinking on those days where she grilled him mercilessly, into finding out what kind of company he wanted. As soon as she had a clear picture about his direction, she express her surprise in finding out his good karma direction, she even tried to persuade him to be a little more ruthless.
He then explaine he was already plenty ruthless, he just didn't want to come to work in that type of environment. He wanted to create a place where his employees took pride in their work. Where they cultivated loyalty an comradeship, he wasn't an idiot he new that their was always a chance to have a knifes in theirs backs. Even then he didn't want a company that work in prolonging life to give up on it internally.
So in ligth on a conflictled view point in a company, they had to up the game when it came to security. They created a system that many other company had express interest for themselves. So they ended up selling the design to any who were interested, they made quite a fortune by it to.
"Excuse me sir but you have a visitor." A voice said from behind.
"Do you know who it is miss Delvine?" Alex said as took a sip of his coffe.
"Yes sir, she said her name was Peggy Carter." Delvine said
"Huh, Peggy is here? Tell security to send her up, she an old dear friend of mine, please tell them to treat her rigth." Alex said as turn from the window and walk to his desk, that had hardly any paper work on it. Most of the things he receive was from Faith personal vetting, after her own team went througth it.

It had cause an outcry in the business world, when he personally name Faith his vice president, for two reasons the first because she was black, the second because she was a women. Oddly enough the backlash wasn't as bad, for all the numbers of white men he lost he gain them back in women and immigrant. Their we're many rich men escaping from europe, and finding a company that had an open arms policy, made it easier for them to open their wallets.
The protesters didn't last very long either, when it became clear that their produce were very much irreplaceable. Many company tried all kind of methods, only for it to fail. They tried poaching, only to find all the researched happy and satisfide, plus with a iron clad contract binding them all. Turning to espionage was in a way even worse, since their attemps only fuelled there already good reputation on security. After that they tried a lawsuit, only problem they had no solide case, it again ended being them that where drag into court only to lose billions. They tried a few more times, only to come and realize that the more they struggled the stronger they made them.
"It has been quite some time Grey. You've really move up in the world." Peggy said as she walk in, she was a smilling as she went around the desk as they both open their arms and gave each other a hug.
"It so good to see you Peg, how are you doing. If your not in a hurry why don't we go out for lunch to cache up, On me of course." Alex said as he held her at arms length, happy ot see her after all this time.
"That does sound lovely, but im afraid this isn't a social visit." Peggy said as she smiled knowing that after everything Grey didn't change all that much. He still reman warm to his friends, he was alway the one she was worried about the most. Not in any romantic way, but more of a fear of what would happen when he'd finally snap.

She had been around to see him during combat and after. The general, Steve, the howling commandos or anyone else for that matter never truly saw what she had seen in him. This man was a monster, other couldn't see it yet, but if he ever lost it, he would become one of the most dangerous person around. So she was relived to see the growing darkness in Grey become smaller, seing him more relax and less on edge. Gave her some real relief, she just hope it would last, because if he ever went off completely of his rocker, she saw it as her duty, as his friend to end him.
"Oh, then sit down, an tell old grey here what I can do for you." Alex said as he sat back in his chair.
"I need the howling commandos for a missions." Peggy said going straight to the point.
"Really now?" Alex said as tap his fingers in a rhythm on his desk, as he pondered her statement.
"Can you elaborate?" Alex said in a serious tone.
"Not much, but what I can tell you is that it involves Russia and children." Peggy said in her tone one could detect hope that this would be enought to get him on board.
Russia, children, could it be, it is about the right time after the war. Alex was almost certain that this was the begining of the black widow origine story. He wasn't sure if he could change anything but he could try, even if it didn't work, he could still go to see if he could plant any seeds for the futur. Project ultimate was on track, it would take time for the different department to send their pieces of the puzzle to his private lab. He'd come to realize that couldn't just lock himself in his lab, well he could but it would look really weird. So he outsource separate pieces of the project to different department, only to assemble them together for his needs. Some parts were only create by him but most ot wasn't. Faith had notice an she had brought it up, he simply told her the truth, that he was working on somthing in secret, and he was trying to hide it from everyone. She took it well even help him in doing it better, she only ask that he didn't blow up the world.
"Ok, I'm in what do you need me to do?" Alex said
"Good, you wouldn't happen to know someone who speaks Russian?" Peggy said
"{I happen to speak it.}" Alex said in Russian
"Splendid, you leave tomorrow here is the address of where to meet me and the rest of the team." Peggy said
"Sure, now about that lunch? Are sure I can't interest you in it." Alex said with a grin as he lean in with sparkling eyes.
Peggy just smiled and sigh. "Fine."
"Good, I know this nice little english pub that have the most wonderful fish and chips." Alex smiled as he got up and practically race out of the door.
Peggy just watch him and shook her head, as she got up and followed, at the very least it will be fun.
Alex race back and shouted. "Miss Delvine, I'm going out, I'll be back in a few hours. Come on Pegs, keep up, those fish aren't going to eat themselves." Alex said in exitment.
Peggy last thought, was wondering who was treating who here.

But this revelation comes a bit too late. You see, Livia wasn't just anyone. She was not given the anonymity of being a background character, or even the blessing of being the heroine. Instead, she has bestowed the role of being the atrocious villainess. And that is exactly what she had been. As a result, Livia triggers her own death flag event at her debutante. That Livia, the bullish and jealous tormentor of the heroine, deserves a fate more befitting of her past deeds. One worst than death. Livia's fate is ripped out of her hands. She is forced into a collar, sold to an empire rotten with greed, and placed inside a harem where she is expected to wither and die from the inside out. But Livia refuses to be forgotten. A promise that pushes her through the darkest moments of her life and brings to light a newfound power rooted deep inside her. Of Righteous Evil
To wield the magical Arts. The power to manipulate nature itself. Follow Silas on his journey as he learns what it means to be a Mage. With war brewing on the horizon, Silas' plan to become a hero clashes with the harsh reality of conflict. Torn between contradicting emotions, he will have to reconsider his perceptions of both good and evil. Does the end truly never justify the means? Note from author (13.09.20): Sentences have been shortened, less commata used. Paragraphs have been split up. Meant to be "realistic" fantasy, with no overpowered protagonist or evil sorcerer trying to destroy the world. The focus lies on the characters, their progressions and their inner conflicts, coupled with an intricate magic system. Constructive criticism is highly appreciated! HIATUS Updates: 12.12.20 Chapter 1 & 2 are written together. The backstory of the parents will be integrated into one of the later chapters. 20.12.20 Prologue has been rewritten, fight added. Will now continue writing the chapters until the first arch is finished. 19.01.21 Chapter 15 is written. Will hopefully be able to write more from now on, university has been kinda rough these days. 08.04.21 Chapter 16 & 17 has been written. Beginning will be rewritten (again) to start with chapter 3.
