《STAR WARS: THE TRANSMIGRATOR》CHAPTER 3

A few days later, inside a starship.
“Arriving at the planet of Ilum, we are. Wear your clothes, you should,” said Master Yoda as he looked at the recently promoted padawans behind him.
They all nodded and started to prepare, however one of them stayed still in a meditative position.
Hameic having worn his winter clothes looked at Garrod and curious went to ask him something.
“Hey Garrod, aren’t you going to wear winter clothes as well?”
Garrod opened his eyes and looked at him with a smile: "I don't need to do this, through the force I am easily able to keep out the cold air around me. Even creating fire is as easy as moving my hands, so I don't feel the need to wear anything but my robes.”
“Wait, you serious? How does one create fire through the force?” Hameic asked with shining eyes.
“This…” Garrod looked at Yoda, seeking permission to use this ability.
“Hmmm.” Yoda walked over and sat next to then. “Fire sometimes helpful it is, but as fire can be considered a tool to help, it could also be seen as a tool to destroy. If you understand this and know to never use this ability to bring harm, then you may teach it and use it at will.”
Both Garrod and Hameic nodded, at that time, the other padawan approached as well with curious eyes.
“To use this ability that I named as Pyrokinesis, one needs first to have an average level of control of the force, and some understanding of air molecules and fire. The basic principle behind this is to rub and heat up air molecules together, like this.”
Garrod proceeded to show them how by concentrating in the air in front of him and doing the same process described before he could generate fire at will.
“Wow! Amazing, did you create this ability?” someone asked Garrod.
“No, although I’m one of the few who knows how to do it.”
“Then where did you learned it?”
Smiling, Garrod proceeded to show them a Holocron he created by himself. “You know, once a great man said that knowledge is power, and he wasn’t wrong, through the course of the years, the amount of knowledge pertaining to the force that we lost is high. However, by studying history and the biography of countless legendary Jedi, I was capable of bringing back to light some of the lost force powers."
Seeing this Yoda smiled, Garrod could be dangerous considering the mysteries around him, but at least, he seems to have most of the traits one would expect of a Jedi. But he wouldn’t let his personal opinion cloud his vision, he always had a special connection with the force, and for quite some time now, the force had been warning him to remain cautious of the boy.
After that, Garrod taught all of them how to conjure fire through the force.
A few minutes later, after he finished teaching them, Garrod went to speak with Master Yoda.

“Master Yoda, can I ask a question?”
“Hrmmm, a question, you've already asked.” Yoda chuckled while looking at Garrod.
“Eh?” Garrod’s lips twitched, coughing he continued. “Can I ask some questions?”
“Hoho, go on, ask whatever you want.”
Nodding Garrod said. "I wonder if the other ship that follows us is Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and his padawan?"
Yoda looked at him, through the force he peered into Garrod’s heart and mind.
“Interested in the boy, you are. I wonder, why is that?” Yoda looked at his eyes, trying to understand why the boy wanted to know this.
“Master I won’t lie to you, I know more of his future than I would like to.” Garrod stoped and after seeing that Yoda didn’t react he continued. “I want to prevent some of the things I saw from happening, he deserves a better future.”
Yoda seemed to reflect on the boy’s words, it's no secret that the Jedi had long since stopped to trust too much on the ability to see the future, in their eyes, to look at the future isn’t a solution but a way to invite trouble to one’s doorstep.
“The force mysterious, it is. One shouldn’t look for solutions in the future but in the present, I understand that you are concerned, however, you shouldn’t actively seek to change what the force shows you, if it's the will of the force then sooner or later you will have the opportunity to help young Skywalker.”
Nodding he went to the other padawans, while Yoda simply reflected on what he discovered about Garrod today.
….
As the ships landed, the scenario slowly became visible, right now, they were in front of some sort of temple built inside an icy mountain.
Upon disembarking, everyone followed Master Yoda inside the temple. The temple had a futuristic feel, most of it seemed to be made of a golden material, and the patterns on the walls were all detailed and could make you feel impressed.
Soon they arrived in a room with a giant crystal being hold by a weird machine on the ceiling. Master Yoda then proceeded to explain to them about Kyber Crystals, Lightsabers, and the role of the Jedi.
After that, a hole opened on the ceiling letting the sunlight shine on the Crytal, which in turn activated some sort of laser beam that melted a frozen waterfall.
“Go inside, you must. You have 6 hours to enter and find your Crystal, or the waterfall will close again, trapping you inside.”
Nodding everyone walked towards the waterfall and entered the cave behind it.
Obi-Wan sat next to Master Yoda and watched as Anakin followed the others.
“Faith in your apprentice you should have,” said Yoda.
“I know, but he has a lot to learn yet…”
….
As they walked through the maze, they soon arrived at a junction, there were five doors each one leading to a different location.
“Do you guys think we should go together?”
“Hm, yes, this would be safer.”

Anakin, however, didn’t even listen to them and proceeded to enter one of the dors, making the kids frow as they watched him disappear in the shadows.
Garrod looked at them and said. “Let’s follow Anakin example, this place isn’t a tourist attraction, we are here to find our Kyber Crystals. Trust in the force and it shall guide you.” Having said that he took the same path Anakin took.
The others sighed and chose a path on their own, trying to feel the crystal that might be calling them.
The cave was dark and had some crystals partially illuminating it. As Garrod followed the rugged path, voices whispered in his ear and shadows seemed to cross his path, but they always disappeared soon after.
At some point, his surroundings turned into a lush forest full of alien life. However, as he advanced through the trees, the sound of shouting and explosions became more and more evident.
Soon he entered what appeared to be a tribe, bodies lay scattered on the floor, blood covered the walls and the floor. Bending down close to one of the bodies, he was able to observe in detail its characteristics, it was a humanoid species with fur covering most of its body and something in their heads that made him remember of a lion's mane.
Garrod looked at his eyes and he could swear that there was still life in them...
Then, the man extended his hand and grabbed his clothes, making Garrod stunned. He was about to try and speak with the man when suddenly a blaster shot exploded his head, looking at that, Garrod vomited, it was his first time seeing something like this, death and carnage...
Looking behind him, to where the shoot came from, he saw a woman wearing what seemed to be an ancient Mandalorian armor and a red and gray mask, initially, he thought she was the one who shot, but he was wrong.
Looking at her belly, there was a hole exactly the same size as the blaster shot, then she fell on the floor and her mask dropped a few meters away from him.
Getting up, he was about to reach the mask when it suddenly flew away from him and went to a man's hand that he didn't notice.
At that moment, he could see that scenery changed once again, it was the same forest, but the bodies and the houses disappeared.
The man put the mask and turned to face Garrod. "You, like me, know more than most could ever ask for. However, you still stay with them and even try to help those useless Jedi, everything is their fault!"
"I'm not trying to help them, I'm trying to keep balance in the galaxy, they made mistakes, I can't deny that, but the galaxy without them is way worse!" Garrod tried to refute.
"Hahaha! Are you sure? Was it not the arrogance and choices of the Jedi that led them to forget their code and become the galactic republic's dog? Why are the Jedi trying to uphold a regime instead of the code? When did the order become a machine for war!?" the man stated as he clenched his fist.
This time Garrod didn't have anything to say, he didn't want to accept that but it was the truth...
"Humph!" the man started to walk forward into the forest.
Having no other choice Garrod decided to follow the man.
As he walked, he saw countless battlefields, worlds falling apart, and the Jedi in standby, only defending and dragging the tides of the war, never trying to truly end them.
Then the man stopped in front of a grave and knelt down. Looking at it he managed to read the words, Bastila Shan.
"I saw the mistakes of the Jedi, I wanted to change them, so I went to the Sith, I wanted to fully understand the force, and one day connect them together, but I failed." He stood up and continued walking.
"My friends, my companions, my wife, my children, my order... they all fell, whether they noticed it or not. And you, while you connected with the force, you don't have a true understanding of it. What I offer you today is a choice, one that will completely change you as time goes on."
He stopped in front of a shining white Kyber Crystal and with it, he created a lightsaber.
"Will you follow my path? Will you repair the order, and led it to its true meaning? Remember, I do not need you to stay with it, just to put it in the right direction." the man extended his hand while holding the lightsaber he just made.
Gulping Garrod remembered everything he saw, it doesn't matter that he saw similar things back in his old life, now this is his reality, those people all died, all that chaos was because of the Jedi, who never truly took action to end the war, they were fated to fall the moment they abandoned their old belief and used their gifts in the wrong way.
Clenching his teeth, he placed his hand on the lightsaber while looking straight at the man's mask.
"Good. For now on, you are my heir, the heir of Darth Revan and..." A new shadow appeared this time with a faint blue light that appeared beside him and touched the lightsaber as well. "Jedi Knight Revan."
The moment their words finished, the lightsaber activated on his own, showing a white blade with a purple aura around it.
Taking the lightsaber, Garrod smiled, he was about to go back when noticed something in the ground, it was the mask, looking forward he saw the man disappeared and the cave went back to normal.
He took the mask and while looking at it, he made a vow. "You failed! You didn't have to do it! But you still tried! Revan I will not remove your mask until the day I have finally repaired the order—until I have fixed the mistakes of the Jedi once and for all. So swears... Garrod!"

Distant Leaps to Circinus
A dark fantasy story that takes place on a reborn Earth. "With all the planets in the universe, it just had to be this one." Not many thoughts came to mind when scientists said they could provide the Earth with nearly infinite power. Humans could only think about the future, after all: they could travel to the farthest reaches of space, never worry about their electric bills again, and give rise to new and innovative technologies. With such good outcomes on the horizon, there was no way humanity would sit idle; instead, they studied perhaps the most powerful entity in the entire Milky Way. It seemed that, after its appearance decades ago, the strange and unmoving black sphere was something of a godsend. There will always be a reason for these things. With one touch, our very reality was but a grain of sand in an hourglass. In an instant, the Earth was gone - replaced by something… different. More than a century later, Earth’s remains have reformed into a completely different beast - a planet both alive and dead at the same time. Physics that were once understood no longer made sense, giant land masses floated in the sky, and billions of people fought for their very survival. Work, sleep, and play were no more; it was time for the world, Circinus, to reign. The birth of Circinus could only be the beginning. The powerful yet ever-elusive black sphere seemed to watch the world from afar - casting light for those below, but never truly emitting light from itself. What does it all mean for the children of Circinus - children born with eyes that seemed to stare into God’s heart?
